The app is pretty great, I had an issue with game updates not showing up and certain screens being stuck when I click on something else, but un-installing and re-installing fixed that issue. The only rib that really bugs me is that notifications I get for things other than fantasy football and my leagues. I have no interest in other fantasy sports. I've adjusted my notifications in the app, but they still come through.

My single biggest issue is not being able to filter by team on the "Players" tab. I feel like that is a massive help when trying to find out where a player is on a depth chart, and what their likely usage is. It's annoying to have to look up the team's depth chart on a different site or app and then come back to this one to search individual names to see if certain players from that same team are taken or not. A team filter would be so much easier and convenient

Server errors ALL THE TIME. Last year this app worked fine. This year every time I try to change tabs to look at players that are available I get a server error and tap to refresh option. it is Non-Stop and so frustrating. I'm on wi-fi and I can only connect to the server it seems one out of about 10 refreshes. And then it loses its connection again. Ugh! Just needs fixed before the season starts Thursday

App worked week 1 of the NFL season but hasn't worked since. I've signed out and signed back in, reinstalled the app, and even got a new phone but keep getting the same error message about not being able to connect to the server. ABSOLUTE TRASH. Wish I would have used a different service for fantasy football. Edit: Per the developer tip, the app does work on wifi. Glad to hear that this issue is being looked into and I look forward to being able to use the app when I'm not on wifi.

This has been the best year, so far, for this app. The interface between app and desktop has improved. However I'm in a couple championships, and championship week is when the app started bugging out. The football information is more current and up to date, now. This is my review from a couple years ago: Website and app do not communicate well with each other. Updates on player projections are so late that they're out of date. Inconsistent time on when Waivers go through; Waivers should be processed at a set time -- a time that is posted. 2018: I help manage my wife's teams. Switching between her profile and mine, or vice versa, has major issues. I never had problems with this, in previous years. But for the entire 2018 season, I have to switch profiles up to five times, before the switch is accepted. However tonight, I can't get into either one of the profiles; I tried to switch profiles, and now I'm repeatedly told that I've "times out". Booo! Two thumbs down for not being able to open either profile. Overall though, the app is improving. I can't believe, after years of frustration, I'm raising my rating of this app to 4 Stars.

I think it's a great app. But, I do not understand why would hesitates so much even with a good connection (Mobile). Love the fact that I can go onto any player and see all of their upcoming views. The only other thing that storage to me is..... That if you go into game log the times do not match the regular game start. Maybe it's something the commissioner can look at and change but it's odd that it's correct on most all front screens. But, I love all the options that I can do.

The good: league communication is improved and I love the addition of gifs. Notifications for everything keep you up to date, but some are redundant. The not so good: I miss the white text on black background, but that's just personal preference. Switching between leagues is a pain. Too much scrolling is required in general (tabs, teams, players, matchups, trade proposals). Still no trade evaluator or full league management like on desktop.

Read my old 3* review. I don't know when it was from, but all that has changed. The app is really good. When i decided to pay FF this year i checked in on CBS, ESPN, and the NFL, and all their apps stunk. Yahoo makes everything for a team owner easy. The scoring options are much more diverse than the other three. Though i would say, i wish they didn't limit scoring options so much. I'm trying to create two things with a scoring system, balance and separation. When the scoring options are limited, then i can't accomplish all my goals. That said it's far better than the others. The game reports are a lot of fun to read, and provide useful info. The only other two negatives are that you can't manage a league from the app. And when i click on a player to get more info, they don't provide basic info like height and weight, years of experience...

The app is sufficient but not the same experience as the computer. It is more than acceptable for the day to day activities once the season is underway and as for drafting it's great but sometimes it freezes and I have to leave the draft room and return to see the real clock. There is missing functionality as a commissioner that is only available in the desktop version. I love yahoo fantasy much better than any other platform, but the app could use some sprucing to match the desktop version.

In terms of aesthetics and presentation the app is great. The unfortunate part is that it's slow and unresponsive. You can insert a player into your lineup or drop a player and though the change does take place, often times it takes a minute before the app visually reflects the changes. You may have to refresh several times before you see the changes.

It's not bad, but it barely resembles the version that I'm use to on my PC. Pre-draft, you can't see your players, even though all of my leagues are keeper or dynasty leagues. Some matchup info that is viewable on desktop is not viewable on the app. I also can't do some commissioner stuff here. Maybe it's just an issue of trying to cram all of that info into a much smaller space. All in all, it's decent for making lineup changes when you don't have computer access, but not as a standalone.

The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the maddeningly frustrating inability to tell whether a player is on the court or not during a live game. Having a small basketball icon or similar to denote he is active would make all the difference, similar to the way it is setup on the desktop version Matchup tab ("Live"). Constantly refreshing the mobile app page is extremely impractical, as is having to leave the page to check the scores in a separate app (even if it is Yahoo Sports).

It's pretty good, the app functions well and doesn't take up too much room. The down side is the screen chaos. Everywhere you look there is an add or an option and sometimes it's hard to tell them apart. I think if it had a slightly more streamline look, it would help. I hate to say more drop down or popup sidebar menus, because that can get messy. However, it might be nice to have a few. Then it's easier to find what your looking for, and has just a little more space for large fingers.

... if you're looking for the motivation to get up and check your leagues on the desktop site. The app is slow, although not much slower than ESPN's app, but it crashes CONSTANTLY, especially if type trying to switch between fantasy matchups... or teams... or leagues... or basically so just about anything else. The app layout is decent, more intuitive than ESPN's, but there are some things that don't make sense. Needs major work.

The area showing you and your opponent's players in the matchup is too small. The ad is too large. It makes viewing the matchup and points scored far more irritating than it needs to be. Your ads through out the app are just too large and are taking up more screen space than they should. Viewing on the website from the computer is much easier, but the point is for the app to give you a more convenient user experience. Please fix this. This is why only a 3 star rating. The other features are good

Mostly solid, very easy to use and preferable to other platforms. Sometimes clunky, one page will open (ie "players") when you pressed another (ie "matchup") and you have to hit another to correct it. It occasionally will need to be closed and reopened, otherwise, it will continue to state that it can't be accessed. Biggest complaint: Android needs to have dark-mode and all the extras that Apple has, especially regarding player stats. That's what's keeping them from 5 stars.

I've been playing Y! Fantasy basketball for years and the app has historically been 4/5 for me, but after the all-star break this year the app stopped functioning. My phone (Galaxy S23+) won't even open the app anymore, telling me it has a bug and that I should download an update after the developer fixes the problem. Just uninstalled/reinstalled and the problem persists. The app immediately closes before it even fully opens, every single time.

I downloaded this for March Madness. Not user friendly at all. It takes at least 4 taps to view my bracket. And having to click on each specific region to view that section of the bracket is ridiculous. Also when I leave it open in the background and bring it back up to view my bracket, it glitches out and makes me start from square one. Incredibly annoying.

Interface is hard to navigate... As asked by dev, the interface is cluttered and compressed. Maybe my phone is too small, but they have a lot of options, and navigation isn't usually something I complain about. The main complaint is when I first open the app it's pushing many different things that it's hard to find the specific one

New update from me: I need the app to draft, right? If the app glitches up it screws up my draft. I love being able to make my own draft board more than anything, which is excellent. But if the app glitches and affects my picks....grrr. Thankfully it fell apart late this time. Only messed with my last 5 picks. Can't look at my queue, which is big then, without things freezing. Fix that, geez
