App freaks out completely when asked to view details of outage. In Delray Beach yesterday there was an extensive outage the home screen said they were working on it and had a link to click on to get details. If I clicked the link screens started flickering back and forth like they were stuck on an out of control merry go round at high speed. It was the strangest app behavior I've ever seen. Had to press the home button then go to recent apps and dismiss the app to get my phone back.

garbage app, took so long to activate and provided NOTHING that i couldn't have done in the same browser the supid app uses to activate anyway. should have been able to finish activation from my computer. so aggravating i almost cancelled my sign up. starlink was so much faster and easier to install. literally just plugged it in and logged into my account on a browser window. done. e: lol they reply with a link to a bot that says "sorry it's going to take a long time for us to connect you"

Figured I would add my own experience to the pile of bomb reviews. Like others have said this app is completely useless. It was fine a few months ago but with the recent layout design changes it's totally frustrating. I should not need to speak with an agent just to find my wifi password in the app!

How this app is allowed to be released is beyond me. The login happens outside the app. Half of the links inside the app lead to a blank white screen. The app shows a buch of ads and upselling. You can't do meaningful service changes with the app. It's useful (abd the only way) to check if your router works, but not much else. Really really poor execution.

UPDATE: The app crashes constantly when reviewing footage! CONSTANTLY! No Sound! This app is useless without the sound. I have to open the home app to hear the sound from the security camera. This has been going on for 3 months now. The agents say unplug the camera, unplug the router, plug everything back in. We are sending a signal to restart everything. This should not have to be done every 3 days.

This app used to work. It was helpful in finding wifi while traveling. But since the last update, it is useless. It's redirecting me to log in to my browser only to return to app redirecting me to browser. If Comcast didn't have a monopoly over internet service in my area, I would never deal with them. Too expensive, tiered system that caps your speed unless you pay. They know this and don't have any incentive to care.

Every update UI and app getting worse and worse. None bugs fixed, Horrible design, limited functionality - one of them no way to temporarily turn on Wi-Fi. When Wi-Fi is turned off per schedule It does not show it on the user profile, it need to turn off manually and then turn on, and then wake devices. Currently, I see only 1 positive feature, access to settings away from the local network.

Trash-iest app ever came across. Complete garbage, and this is coming from a full stack software developer. I've never seen so many bugs. It keeps logging me out. The session keeps expiring or always giving me 404 error. The moment you go to a different page, it will ask you to sign in again! The worst part, their website will direct you to the app and won't let you do anything.

There was a time when you could activate your own modem using this app. Now, it says something is wrong and forwards you to chat with an agent, which as anyone who's had anything to do with a Comcast/Xfinity agent knows, takes what took 2 minutes before and now extends it to a 30+ minute painful encounter that results, more often than not, in things not working out. It's remarkable how Xfinity finds a way to make every encounter worse than the last. There's no apparent bottom to this hole.

I thought it was working, but somehow the billing address got mixed up again. I pay for a disabled sibling's service, so billing address and service address are different. The system changed the billing address to be the same as service address without me making such a change. I managed to fix it online, for the second time. By itself, this was no big deal. But this is just one more irritation in the long series of process screw-ups I've experienced. Also, the app is still painfully slow.

The Chatbot is limiting but fine, and it's easy to get access to an agent. The app interface uses way too much space and offers little information. Most options don't actually have a function in the app but rather are just glorified hyperlink shortcuts. Things are still missing from the many older xfinity apps that it's supposed to replace. Overall, it's a good concept, but poor execution. In short… it's a glorified store kiosk.

Worst app ever. Trying to activate service and it says "We Lost Connection". That's interesting because I'm posting this review on the same connection and I was able to login to the app with this connection. Way to go guys! You a so authentically yourself right from the start! Comcast is trash and now you're rebranded as Xfinity and still trash. Congrats on being the worst company ever

Crashes all the time. Takes forever to load. Not a stable app Update: evey update seems to make it worse, about to cancel my service because of this. Need to be able to do no stars. Cannot rewind in the app, it goes back a page. Almost like they programmed it incorrectly. It freezes when viewing video outside of the movement notifications. Have to turn those off to see if that helps. Also they only go back a few days now and not a week.

Time to SWITCH...I have been with Xfinity Comcast Internet service on and off for years, but for the last 6 years my internet service has been excruciating headache, and the app does not make it any better. The advanced security has been the biggest problem, and the outages throughout the day and especially in the wee hours of the morning. The app is like going to a classroom which speaks in languages of a technician, and not a customer. Advanced Security needs a revamp totally!!

If your Xfinity modem is "not connected" to the internet, the app will refuse to show device settings so that you can troubleshoot/fix them. Their virtual assistant is completely useless. Then you have to wait for a chat agent to pretend to look into the issue, pretend to try fixes, and finally have to send the issue over to someone else. Trash app, from a trash company. Links to go chat/message elsewhere don't work.

This app is broken. Half the sections are not operating at all. When I select each tab it has a message saying, sorry try again. If you manage to see any correct operations and click anything it takes you out of the app and opens a website in a different browser app. If everything opens in a different app, what is the point of this app then? I signed into my router, I shouldn't have to sign in to the internet every time. Just leave the router signed in and let that be my gateway, obviously 🙄

App is slow or needs to be closed and reopened constantly in order to control the router. It takes minutes to load if it loads at all. The usage reports are useless, very few items are ever listed and there aren't even options to see the time used or even what time the app was used. With the amount of information that Comcast collects about our internet streaming use we should have easier access to much more of our own data.

such a weird app. we have a schedule to turn off the WiFi on certain devices but when we want to turn in those devices, your only option is to pause the device. this doesn't make sense because the device is already paused so in order to turn the device back on, you have to select "pause device" and then select" unpause device"in order to get the Device to work. also the app won't connect a lot

The app is beyond useless, I can't change a single setting for my router because the app is fundamentally broken. The page to change the WiFi band, port forwarding, etc all come up blank and of course the brain trust over at Xfinity had the gall to take away desktop access to the router to change settings. The only thing more disappointing than the app itself is that I can't rate it 0 stars

Xfinity pushed customers to the app to manage their router.... A phone is not the easiest way to do so. Now, some functions are on the router web page and others are on the app. The app is so poor that it takes forever to manage my network. I cannot search for connected devices. I cannot see their IP address on the summary. I cannot sort the list. I have been a Comcast / Xfinity customer for decades. I think I will switch to Verizon because everything just takes too long now.
