I love this game, it's one of my recent favorites. Honestly, I love every Pixelbite game I've ever played, they're my favorite mobile game developer. I have one big problem though, and it needs to be fixed before I can love this game again. The "radioactive blood" is insanely frustrating and takes all the fun out of the game. The damage is fine, but it lasts too long & heals enemies too much. Some of the other new enemy abilities are overpowered as well, especially since they get infinite uses.

I paid for it after the demo period thinking there would be more substance, but there isn't. I find that there are too few enemies and too few abilities to really change things. It has a gameplay loop similar to XCOM with combat being more fast-paced. Easy was a bit of a mindless slog. Turned it up to Hard (there is no Normal), and the randomized abilities cause a lot of early game forced losses as it becomes too easy to be overwhelmed and you don't have any abilities to do anything about it.

Overall good game! Devs would you look into the pathfinding? Sometimes when I DoubleClick a spot one of my ops will get stuck somewhere... Also different environments in the woods when we have to engage and kill monsters... I don't like the auto-shooting... Maybe you guys could have an option to turn it on/off?? Game looks really good! No lag or crashes ... I have my game settings on high and it's doing amazingly! 😊 one more thing, could you add a normal mode? Only easy & hard available atm...

Brilliant game. The battles are thrilling and easy to control. The management of the base could be better and with more options, but it is good enough and managing the soldiers is exciting. The story is the less appealing aspect of the game with some choices that force you to choose one of the three possible endings.

When the game lags this means two things. 1) you activated a swarm and a lot of mutants are coming for you, or 2) a big guy is coming which is usually accompanied by a smaller swarm. Tips for newbies: play around in easy first. Easy is not a cakewalk. In hard mode the mutants well mutate and start out with "poison" and regeneration. If it seems like a endless number or steady stream of enemies is coming, look for a spawner. Beware of long hallways, there maybe spawners/nest on both sides.

Fun came and easy to sit down And play. The early stage of the game is quite boring with a long drag to get the ball rolling and without having an option to save at certain events to then be able to later and go back to change a decision you did makes it all more frustrating when you get one ending but want to go back befor you got it to stop form getting that ending or acendently setting the game into expert mode with out knowing and having to restart all over again is a pain and such a drag

NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!! Finally! Thank You Pixelbite for ditching that trash! This real-time strategy game is well worth a buy. It has really good lighting, textures, and shadows, with the same mutant plague theme as other Zenowerk games. You'll have to train soldiers on a wide range of missions while managing a base similar to X-Com while racing against a doom clock. Fair warning this game is challenging from start to finish as all decisions are permanent and this game doesn't let you save-scum

Spectacular game, very nice. Reminds me of XCOM, and I loved those games. Part easy grind, part intense action, and an interesting story behind it all. It's a bit monotonous at times, with only 3 classes available and limited decisions to make each day in the game, but a lot can be done with careful preparation. I especially like how you can pause when the heat is too much mid-battle, although that sometimes didn't help lol. Definitely would check out the full version.

This game had the potential to be fun. But it turns into a punishing grind. The jump in exp from level 3 to 4 is ridiculous. I can't even imagine how bad it gets for higher levels. As it is I've been stuck in one area doing the same missions over and over. It's boring. Even trying to open up the safe zone for the Dead Coast means I'll at least be spending forever in the hospital or even losing characters. The game is imbalanced which ruins the whole experience.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the ode to Carpenter with the soundtrack? Quite lovely. I love the Alien-esqe feel to the combat. I will say that the pathfinding in the game can be frustrating from time to time and I like the sense that you can potentially lose members (no one dropped in combat yet, and I'm playing on hard mode *only way to play IMHO*) More customization could be implemented and maybe some more roles introduced. If those three things get fixed/added it's an easy 5 stars

I wish there was more content for the game new maps, new mission, character customizer, more in depth game play like manually selecting abilities just more in general when I first got this game it was great but it's been far too long for this game to ask me for a review but nothing new has come out. I wouldn't even mind in game purchases if it meant more to do.

I'm ready to buy it, but there was an insane bug that just happened, and I don't know where else to report it. I was on Easy Mode in the Trial, having captured the second drop off point, and picked up a sample from a cache when my screen went black and the phone became unresponsive. I had to wait until the battery died before it would function, not sure if this is on my end (memory is still far from half full).

It's pretty fun but runs out of steam after first playthrough. The character art is great, the controls great, the combat is fun, its a good game no regrets in purchasing. The only disappointment I have is in the variety. The missions are all basically the same, the level cap is too small, and many of the abilities are useless. Varying from great, to vaguely useful, then straight to worthless. I wish there were many more abilitie, guns and a way to re-spec undesirable traits.

It's a PC quality indie game play. Yeah the pathing is sometimes wonkey, but that's primarily due to over extending the route, or sometimes you don't realize a desk is in the way, and bam, he's surrounded by mutants. 😂 They really need to make a PC version of this. It's hands down, and easily one of my favorite games I've played recently. And hard mode is phenomenal. The missions have random mutations for the mutants. 10/10 would recommend. Edit: If you guys made a second one, that'd be great.

The game is pretty cool so far, but it needs a bit of work. It's not anything drastic, but the game does generate some impossible situations, wherein some of the critter-creators are impossible to attack, because they spawn critters much too quickly. The game also makes a few assumptions that the player will understand implied concepts, but that's common for many games, especially good games. I'll likely change my review, adjust my rating to 5 stars, once I've finished playing.

Great game...could be much better Only 3 real classes. Is exciting and fun at first but dies off rather quickly. More classes would be awesome. Change the way enemies attack so you have to use different strategies. (More strategic options). Lower the price of the game. TLDR: youll enjoy the free game alot but don't bother with the 8 dollar price tag.

The game is great, it just can be really obnoxious at times. The invisible mutants, for example, are just not fun. I would rather take the morale hit rather than get annoyingly harassed. Like Cazadors from FO: New Vegas...just so stupid and a waste of time. Also sometimes the pathfinding can be irritating. One of my squad members will just randomly get stuck on a table or some box and they'll get surrounded. Just some needless micromanaging. If those things were fixed it'd be more enjoyable.

Love the game. Sadly the fact you can't just "move out" or even just have a button that retreats to spawn point on autopilot upon completion of mission really ruins the game. From 5* down to just 3*. There is neither a minimap nor a zoom out function. In real life its not too hard to find your way out of a house. But in a video game with randomly generated maps it's hard to remember directions for 2-3 new maps every 5 minutes.

Just finished my first complete playthrough, and have some thoughts. Overall a solid experience, but also has a few flaws. Pros: - very few glitches/bugs - decent, if somewhat repetitive core gameplay Cons: - traveling is slow and filled with pauses due to the events - operative progression is very linear and there's no way to choose perks - lacking in the "tactics" department - repetitive gameplay loop, lacks replayability - isn't space marshals 3 Hopefully well see more improvements soon.

Reminds me of a real time version of Xcom. Characters move RTS style, but shoot automatically however their skills have to be activated manually. No miceotransactions as you get to play a demo for free and then pay for the rest of the game (like a normal game). What it lacks in design it makes up for in the card system in which events are played and you use different skill and tool cards to react or counter the effects of events. It definitely makes things more interesting and I recommend it.
