I truly feel there has always been an issue with both Android and ios search results. It will tell you it can5 find something. What I'm referring to is its not locating all the possible post with the wording designated in the search. Evem when you use the search formulas the results only appear slightly more precise but still, I'm am intense searcher if I use the NEAR ME setting it needs to work ENTIRELY PERFECTLY. It doesn't atm. There's glitches when going through the categories.

I open the app and it just buffers..on an empty white screen. I've done everything that's been recommended and get nothing. It seems it goes Into this mode at least once or twice a day...and it last for hours. I've emptied cache, did a hard empty cache from power off button for entire system, updated app. I'm just lost with it. It's a never ending circle jerk. Power off phone 50 times a day. Restart phone 100 times a day. It absolutely sucks.

Since I can't go any lower than one star, this is all I can do for this app. Been on Twitter (X) for 15 years and this is the worst it's been. I constantly have trouble with the app loading and freezing, I am unable to refresh my messages and my feed, and the spaces either freeze up or you can't hear the audio at all. Also, when you block something, you can still see it elsewhere.. A LOT has changed for the negative and we need to go back to what was working.

The last few years have been a downside in quality, but this is the worst it's been. DMs always freezing or crashing, completely nonsense ads, AI and bots all over the place, the constant "please try again later" error message for basic tasks that used to function completely fine, and a bunch of added features like video calling that no frequent twitter user would want. Not to mention it's the only app I use that makes my phone overheat, even when I drop the brightness. An absolute shame.

one star is the lowest I can go. this app is trying way to hard to be something it isn't. so focused on looking nice that a lot of its functions are just gone. notifications are permanently gone. when uploading photos, always met with ( Failed to send post ). to top it off, it always crashes after a certain amount of time. find something better to use, genuinely. do NOT get this app. 💀

Everything app...well it's getting there. Video content and quality are great. First for information and news. I check X before checking anything else. Much better than when it was Twitter. Developer suggestions to allow premium members to listen to the content while the lock screen is on, kind of like a headphone mode or something. My earbuds can't pause content. That would be a nice addition. Other than that, this is a great app.

When I attempt to send a reply with photos, I often get a "Failed to send post" notification. This has been occuring for around a month. I have to keep a tab with X open in Google Chrome just to post photos! Also, the search bar in the search section has been hit or miss recently with results not always showing. In addition, I cannot long-press and copy or delete DMs if they contain text and a link. This has been a problem since October 2022.

I've used Twitter for almost two years now, exclusively through browsers, both desktop and mobile, with minimal problems. I downloaded this app because it has functions unavailable on the browser site, such as audio-visual stuff, tweeting videos and sound clips. The app doesn't work, will not allow me to sign in. I tried using my e-mail instead of my username, and it still didn't work. I deliberately entered a wrong password; it identified it as incorrect. The app is broken, not Twitter itself.

To get the app to run smoothly when X updates, I have to uninstall, then reinstall. No cut and past function. No ability to flag media for sensitivity when you upload. Must use website. Can't upgrade service subscription on the app. Icons for X spaces don't work. It's really disgraceful. I'd use the website instead, but: (1) last year it started mislabelling re-posts if you repost from notifications. (2) On X spaces you need to DM a request to speak. There's no mic icon to touch for requests.

For almost 2 weeks now, the messenger part of the app is unusable. If I try to use it, the app will fail and close out within 30 seconds, usually in the first like 5 seconds. I don't have enough time to read my messages or reply. I have to do it from my laptop. I have tried reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Update: I am STILL having this issue. I update it everytime there is an update available and it has never resolved my issue even slightly. This has been happening since March!

service is unusable! anything related to seeing/sharing media is buggy. videos don't load or delay to load....dont run or run at like 50x playback speed, skip, and freeze. when someone likes a post, you see the notification like 50 times underneath the post they liked. It's truly a bad experience. I wish I could give this app an even lower score. It's been consistently bad, and worse than the iOS app. Feels like non-premium accounts are being throttled. App is so unstable!!!

dm notifications arent working well, and there are issues with videos almost everyday. videos often lag, glitch, and freeze a few seconds in. back again. this app crashes for me every single day, sometimes multiple times! for at least 10 minutes, absolutely nothing will load and i get pop ups saying "cannot retrieve messages at this time. please try again later". this is EVERY DAY!!!!! it just spins and loads no matter what i do, its very annoying

In the past two years, this app has become completely unusable. There are more bots than users, and every single post gets flooded with AI spam. My feed is filled with garbage conspiracy theories, no matter how much I block/filter. The app is also slow, buggy, and frequently crashes. Searches and lists will often only load a few results, and graphic, harmful content goes uncensored. Everyone I know has either reduced or ended their usage of Twitter and wish for its restoration.

DMs just crash constantly for no reason, and it makes it particularly annoying when I'm trying to type a message I'm almost finished with, and then it just crashes and closes the app out of nowhere, meaning I have to type it all over again. It'll even just crash when scrolling through them casually. It's been like this for months now. Even after two updates it's still doing this. Rest of the app functions perfectly except for the DMs. Really annoying.

This app has gone downhill the past year. This app will not load or work for HOURS at a time. And it's ever day. Not only that, but the videos rarely work. This app is damn near bricked. It need a serious overhaul for its stability. Love the features that have been added like edits, longer posts, longer video uploads, etc... but what's the point if the app doesn't work?

App is nearly unusable when trying to follow posts for a sporting event. Since the addition of the betmgm information, it takes up over half the screen and can not be dismissed. It really takes away from the experience. I understand posting it upon loading, but it should be dismissable. It takes up over half the screen, and you can only see one tweet at a time.

Love it! May 26, 2024. It has improved since Elon's takeover with X. The dialog is more neutral. Less bots. More options. I'm sure there are many who feel disenfranchised with the introduction of cost to specific features but this keeps the platform on an even keel. It is great even on the free basis...full of information and entertainment.....It just depends on what your usage aim is. Bless!
