Sheer rip off of Contest of the champions. The original game felt really good with the gameplay and types of robots. No logic in applying weakness and advantage for metal scraps. Like how do you even come up with robot "types" just to copy another games concept. I would play contest of the champions if I miss the game, duh!! This is a disappointment.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this game was honestly not worth the space it took up. The graphics are extremely lacking, the gameplay is basic at best and I've won every match by tapping the A button and holding forward, the actual combat isn't enjoyable to watch, the announcer and what SFX are in the game rapidly become grating and annoying, all robots are premade copy-pastes of each other with different color palettes. Overall? Not worth it, at all. Feel bad for pre-registering tbh.

Much inferior sequel that doesn't live up to the reputation of its predecessor. I am quite disappointed with the quality of graphics and predetermined choice of robots (very much lack of the looks of robots in WRB1). Duplicated robot that you can't merge? Sadly also, the game play is not as fun as WRB1. So, I uninstall it even before 1 day. So, it's better to play WRB1 and Champions, which are much more fascinating and far outshine WRB2.

I really like the idea of the game and the design of the robots, but the controls are too basic. It has real choppy game play and I honestly don't like the finishing move idea towards the end of the fight. Overall good concept but the gameplay is slow

The announcer is the most annoying thing ever. I disabled it ASAP. The 66 "unique" bots are just reskins of the same 6 to 7 robots or so. That's not unique, not even their special moves are unique cause all the robots own duplicate special moves from one another. The gameplay has been simplified even further from Champions and RS: WRB by reducing upgrades to a grind fest under loot boxes.

If i could rate lower, i would. This game is a very big disappointment compared to the last game. To visually compare, its like the first Real Steel WRB was a multi-BILLION dollar franchise, and then it was sold to a small time, unknown, multi-thousand dollar franchise. Not to mention the graphics are so childish, and not "cutting-edge" as the developers put it, and the commenters voice makes me want to turn the sound off. This game is a downgrade from all previous Real Steel games.

The gameplay is very mediocre like there are only few robots but you cloned them into diffrent "factions" for a variety looking game. It is fun and enjoyable but the graphics constantly lags and a lot of features from the first game didn't make into this one which reduces the gameplay even more! This game is recommended if you can't download the first one which the first game is big in terms of Megabytes. Could be way better but still an average game.

Good graphics and gameplay along with an army of robots. Absolutely would recommend, but it would be much nicer if there was more robot models, rather than just the same bots in different colors and different names. The same goes with special moves, it would be better if they are purchasable (like in RS champions). and MOST IMPORTANTLY, why are Hollow jack/pumpkin head/Raven 's fists not spinning/drilling?! But since the devs are putting hard work into this I'll rate this a 4star

The game is definitely getting better I can tell the graphics have been updated the controls are a little touchy. The gameplay is okay but I feel like the AI robots could be a little more challenging But the over all on the game is still a 3 star rating but it's getting better I believe over time the game will get better I still think that you should be able to buy the regular robots and earn the "specialty" robots

This game works well... But it is too much buggy... It does not work properly when we perform a finisher while the opponent is performing a special then it mixes both... It shows us to tap for max defense and also to tap the spots to complete the finisher. It even impacts the versus mode... I was troubled by this bug in a multiplayer match where my opponent performed the special before I did and I totally lost control of my bot... I had to forefiet my match...

This game is definitely better than the original one graphics and performance wise but that's where it stops. Being able to throw endless punches with no repercussions just isn't fun at all. The fact that there is only one animation to the punches just doesn't help its case. I played 2 matches and just couldn't continue after seeing how the URF greatly outrank in terms of overall gameplay.

This game is a massive downgrade from the original. The robots are duplicates of original robots from WRB1, Real Steel HD or URF, only the color pallets changed into far worse, and their names changed. All the fights can be won by only spamming the A button once normally and the second time holding the joystick right. Speaking of which, the joystick is the worse thing I've ever seen in a fighting game. Not mentioning the fact that the whole game is a COMPLETE ripoff Marvel Contest Of Champions!

People keep complaining about graphics. All you need to do at the start of the game is go into your setting and set resolution to 100 and graphics to high and you will be playing HD. I play on a relatively new phone (s8+) and the game runs incredibly smooth with well above playable graphics. The gameplay itself is a mix of MCOC and injustice. MCOC style story/versus system and MCOC style character leveling. Injustice style special moves though with the on screen actions to perform more damage.

World Robot Boxing 2 is a below average game with lots of potential. The graphics are beautiful, the music and sound effects works well but everything else is problematic. The energy system is infuriating to every players I have ever known and is somehow still used in a 2020 released game. The fights are way too short and their mechanics are not always working as intended, which is very frustrating.

Amazing game, amazing graphics, amazing everything. I have an idea for the game, that might improve the reality of the game, if this cant happen that's fine but here's idea, when robots get low hp, sparks or something could come out of various parts, and like panelling could come off (If the panelling idea isnt great dont use it then), also, I would like to be able to create robots like in the other game. But pls do add those if u can. Amazing game tho

The game is great overall, only thing that bothers me is that it's heading to a more quantity over quality route. Theres no effort being put into each robot anymore they are all just blatant recolor. The game has good potential, it's just that they could have just kept the original robot designs and names and just gave us a customize option for them instead of the whole different recolor versions of them. Controls are great, graphics are..getting there, its heading in the right direction. Peace.

This... destroyed my expectations for a sequel to WRB. It barely has any elements from the original games, LOOTBOXES, and all robots are the same 4-5 models except different colors! If anything, this is a downgrade in terms of gameplay and variety. The announcer is annoying, and speaking every two seconds. I can see how this appeals to kids, so good job on thay. One good thing is how the graphics have improved slightly. That's it.

In some ways, this is a step up from WRB 1. The layout and menu is a little more complicated, but that is just personal preference. Its nice that they added commentary and I think it makes the game more engaging. I also like the new maps that they added. The only suggestion I have is to make it a little more challenging, in some fights, you can just do light attacks and you will win without even being touched.

From first impressions the game looks pretty nice, with increased graphics and smoother animations. The problem is the lootbox system, the overuse of reskins and assets, and a overall boring game. I can see why it's way more impressionable to younger audiences. I know it's hard making new models for your game, heck even I sometimes reuse models sometimes. But please put some effort into your game, otherwise you're just milking a movie for money. - Chalcogens

In terms of raw gameplay, I like the simpler two-dimensional fighting mechanics than what was in the previous WRB. It's easier to handle, basically, if a bit repetitive after a while. I'm disappointed that robots from the previous game didn't actually carry over. So basically I see better performance and handling, but dismally less variety in content. It's kind of a reverse on WRB I. The blatant cash grabs are just as prominent as before, though.
