I really like this app. It's easy to use and easier to figure out how to use it. Your developers are very smart and they figured out that it was time to develope an app that is easier for people of all ages and computer skills to manage. I'm 66 and am so glad that I found this app. I play a few games that this app helps me move on quicker in the game which makes me continue to enjoy the game. Try the app out, I'm sure most people will find lots of ways that this app is very helpful.

Some may feel like it's cheating but it helps give you a edge by unscrambling and coming up with all of the variations on words your letters can make. I find it very helpful.

Quick interface that's user friendly. Many definitions of words are available & a minimal amount of ads garners 5 stars in its current format. Now coders & software engineer developers like to overengineer so we'll see what damage they'll do in time. 6 months later, no issues. Great job!

On my Android (Galaxy 9+ & Galaxy 23+) there is an annoying problem that as I go back and forth between Scrabble and WF app, it keeps opening a screen on my browser (Chrome). If I'm VERY careful where I touch on WF app I can prevent, but have to be super careful. Useful to make sure I've thought of all possible words. Still have to make em work on the board

Great app but needs some work reading the special tile styles that Words has. I have to edit my rack every time because it mis-reads all the letters for "E"s or "I"s Sometimes it gets the letters right but most of the time I have to edit the rack to correct it. *edit: App needs to be updated to read the diffrent boards that WWF uses for the solo challenge. App cannot read the smaller, more. Compressed boards with diffrent bonus tile layouts...

Very helpful and DOES show point value of words. It even has DL & TL tile placements. This can make a huge difference in points. A TW & DW override would be nice but overall it's awesome. It has made the difference in winning or losing a game! CORRECTION. I was thinking of a different "app" (website) that didn't show point values

It does it's job well. I want to give it a low rating because it is cheating, however I based my rating on how well the app performs in finding the best words. I'd give it a 3 star because, as I said earlier, it is cheating. If both opponents were playing words and both were using this app, it basically turns Words with friends into a game of chance and luck rather than skill, which takes away from the point of playing a scrabble game. But I can't rate it on that. So I rated it on how it perfoms

The app works fine and is very helpful. However the ads are very long pop up often and when you try to get rid of them by exiting it out. The x is so small you can hardly see it and it goes to a page to download whatever and they're trying to sell too frustrating to use it. Or it goes to a blank page that you cannot get rid of so you have to back out of the whole program and start over. Very very frustrating. I try not to use it unless I absolutely have to.

I use to use this app all the time, both the letter unscrambler and the board solver. Then there was an update a while back and I haven't been able to use the board solver since. I follow the instructions but the screenshot is NEVER ever detected. It simply stays stuck on the first board solver screen that tells you to take a screenshot. I have tried over and over... Edit: It finally started working after playing around with the settings for a half hour. Don't know what exactly fixed it.

Great app! Reliable, easy to use. UPDATE: Been using this app for 9 months now. It is awesome and not buggy at all. Can't say that about very many apps! UPDATE: I do wish we could set a default for where to grab our screen shots from and set permission to delete the image instead of having to select these options every. Songle. Time.

Waaaaay too many invalid words. Other than that, this is the best word finder I've seen. I love the definition feature, and that you can select from so many different word games. Love being able to rack 15 letters instead of just 7 and gives you 3 wild cards. This app is awesome except for all the invalid words it's giving. I do report the invalid words(love that feature too). Not sure how you'd fix this but please do. Support gets 5 stars for their quick reply to my issue. Now fix it.

It is full screen so everytime I try to toggle between this and something else, an ad will pop up on the bottom and I accidentally click it because I'm trying to hit my home button and the damn thing downloads some random app. I can't even force it out of full screen mode in my phone settings because it's "optimized" for full screen. I'd actually buy the ad free version, but it's only available as a subscription.

I'm getting a black frozen screen for many of the ads. Have to close ap and reopen. (Edit) the ads aren't freezing up any more. Thank you. But I'm now getting a lot of ads that are scams. And also ads of tortured animals that I find very disturbing. I'm going to be uninstalling this app as soon as I find an alternative

I love the new WordFinder app, for when I'm totally stumped in Words with Friends or WordScapes. It has a simple, clean interface. It even works well on my older tablet that it says it is not optimized for; very fast response, and not too much scrolling, much better than the old website. Updated 3-12-20: The new feature to put the level number in WordScapes to help you find that last word is genius!

The feature to scan and delete screenshots frequently breaks. The best word is blocked by a 30 second ad. This wouldn't be an issue except that every time you scan a board over the course of a game, the given words depreciate in value the further along in the game you are. I've had plenty of games where my highest scoring word was at the end. App consistently lowers the score of the words available to you, so you are more inclined to watch the ad for the top scoring word. Shady af.

SO MANY ADS! This used to be a great app. Now, there are ads every couple of searches. Ads that are ridiculously long, ads that freeze your phone. Ads that you can't X out of, ads that force you to close the ap and reopen, multiple ads one after another. No option to purchase to get rid of the ads, just coins to temporarily make them stop.

Wordfinder itself is great. I completely get why the ads are needed to keep the app going. However, the app is set up so you deliberately click on the ads and go elsewhere. What has made me angry is that I accidentally clicked on an ad and it immediately started downloading an app that appears to be a fake news report site I definitely didn't want and could potentially put viruses on my phone. Not cool. I would pay a one time fee for no ads, but monthly? No. I'm going back to webpage.

I like this helpful dictionary. Gives me good ideas. But when playing Words2Friends VERY frequently the ads play & get stuck do I have to close the app & reopen. Very frustrating. Once in a while I can toggle back & forth & get out of the ad, but rarely. Sounds like a problem that software needs to remedy!! Otherwise I enjoy playing w/a friend online.

Really good but sometimes it misses the highest scoring word which sucks 'cause you have to watch an ad for it. Also ads are broken right now so after you wait through the whole thing, the screen turns black and you can't get out of it without closing the app, which means you have to keep doing it over and over, loading the app, uploading the screenshot and watching ads until it finally works.

The electronic Franklin Deluxe Scrabble Players Dictionary I have been using for decades recently stopped functioning. I looked at various replacement options but didn't find one that I thought would deliver an equivalent performance. On top of that, many devices were down right expensive. I decided to try this app rather than wind up purchasing a product that might fall short of my expectations. I am very impressed with the word building function. That the app is free is icing on the cake!
