Excellent version of the app, and without interrupting you with ads!! Banner ads at the bottom are completely nonintrusive. My only complaint is that when you enter a word, it's a little slow flipping the letters over to reveal green or yellow. Speed that up and I'll give you SIX stars!

Ads are a little invasive being directly under the keyboard, and always on—a slight slip of the finger when inputting your guess means you're being whisked away to the play store, or wherever the ad wants to take you. Not a dealbreaker, but when you're playing in dark mode and you have this huge pulsating white spaced ad at the bottom third of your screen it's a little disjointing. Maybe flash an ad in between games? Wish you could play this game in airplane mode too. You must be connected to the web/net for it to work and pull words from their bank.

Exactly like the Times game, but not limited to one per day. Haven't seen the ads yet, just started playing. UPDATE: Dropped from 5 stars to one and it would be minus 5 if I could do it. I've had 3 separate streaks of 50+ broken by cheap shot words like SENOR, for which I find no English definitions, and proper names and other "solutions" that wouldn't be accepted in true word games. Too frustrating to devote any more time to. Deleting and signing off. I'll stick with the original.

I've played many times now without a single ad! The other app I had downloaded made me watch an ad every time I guessed a word, or sometimes even in between guesses if I took too long. I appreciate that they don't do that on this app. Also there's an option to play with 6 letter words and 7 letter words. And there's also different modes to play like daily and endless. Love it!

I love this game! There are multiple game play options and it is really fun and challenging. The ads are very unobtrusive, not interrupting game play. I do wish I could drag and drop letters, or add/delete one letter at the beginning or end of a word, without having to erase the whole word. That one change would make this game darn near perfect! I highly recommend if you like the New York Times version. It plays just the same way.

The basic game is one of my favorites, and there are numerous apps that are basically the same game. What I like about this version: 1. choosing 5,6 or 7 letters. Great for an advanced player 2. No ads 3. Tells you what the word is if you don't guess. What I don't like: you can't select individual letters to eliminate and replace, you can only use backspace and take letters off from the last to the first. The graphics are just ok. But no ads is GREAT.

Wordle friends, this free app has some great features you might like. First, ads are only at the bottom of the page and do not intrude on your game at all. Second, you can set it to play 1 game per day or unlimited. Third, you can select words that are 4-8 letters long. And if you have diminished eyesight you can set it to dark mode with or without high contrast colors. I really like it!

So far, the best I've tried. The ads are at the bottom and don't pop up after each round. It had the best stats breakdown by number guesses. The word list seems to be much better that others which have had some really weird/rarely used words. My only nitpicks are: 1. the letter flip animation is a bit slow. 2. A few "bad" words like CUPID and SENOR (likely the Spanish word señor). Also, the new version isn't supposed to have answers that are plural, but I've come across a few such as BASES.

I've tried countless Wordle apps. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST! They don't force ADs on you. No more closing apps and reopening them to get back to playing. They are AD supported however and there's a button to allow one ad video to play to help them out, which I do every few puzzles. Also you can insert letters in any position in the word. No longer do you have to erase the entire word to change the 1st letter. After each puzzle, shows how you compare with others on that word. Much more fun

Great so far! I read some reviews for other apps and saw pop-up ads and caps on plays as the least liked things. The ads at the bottom of the screen are not at all distracting, and it's nice that there's a free unlimited words option. Granted, I've only played three games, but so far it's pretty darn fabulous.

Download if you enjoy playing uninterrupted. Ads show up at the bottom which is completely alright because they are necessary to keep the game free, but also you won't be forced to watch a 30-60 second ad between every turn that often ends up crashing the game like so many of the other games do. Easy 5 stars by comparison.

Overall a great game that is essentially Wordle with some extra game modes. It could use a couple of quality of life features that would make it a five star app for me. One would be individual stat tracking for each game mode. Another would be stats on each word showing how many others were able to guess it and how many guesses. The best feature to add would be the ability to drag letters to individual spots instead of having to fill them out in order. This is still a great app though.

Nice, but no option to remove ads. I don't keep games with no options. Too many alternatives. In reply to the developer: Thank you for the reply. I do understand that you are in the business to make money. No problem there. I prefer one-time purchases over subscription for software that is basically static content. So I will keep looking. But I appreciate the honest response. I am upping my stars from 3 to 4. Thanks.

Update: I found this app, because I recently started playing the NYT game, but wanted more. I installed this & was really happy with so many choices, so I wrote a great review! But then, I discovered I CAN NOT play offline, and I'm without cell or wifi part of every day, living in my RV camper. So I'm sad now & will look for another Wordle type app that IS available offline. Sorry, it was fun while it lasted.

I enjoy playing this in my down time. I like format (four to eight letters, unlimited play, etc.) and layout (not a lot of bells and whistles), and haven't had any bug issues. It's also nice to see how you're doing against the field, though I'd prefer to see the percentage read those who topped the score instead of just who is below. Saying only 7% bettered you sounds like more of an achievement than subtracting your group's 33% as well and stating "you beat 60% of the rest...". ENJOY!

By far the best Wordle game! It's not even close for 2 reasons 1 unlimited game play with just those ads scrolling across the bottom 2 you don't have to start by putting a letter in the first box to put one in the next box and then the next. You can move them around when solving and have blanks in the box before, which is very helpful.

The stats make no sense! I like to watch my progress - the goal that makes these games worthwhile. I played 9 games straight and "my" stats went from 83% to 70% during the time I won 9 straight games, no losses. It also showed me playing "4 straight" games instead of 9? Too frustrating, uninstalled.

Keys need to be haptic touch. Also, although it is nice to be able to touch a letter & have it jump to the next available box, it would be extremely helpful to be able to DRAG a letter to or out of a box. And, need win stats tracking for all levels. Look at your closest competitor. Although they could stand improvement, they do say what percentage of players solved the word. But thank you for being free. & the better laid-out board (with the enter & backspace keys on the correct sides)!

Honestly, I've installed and even paid for other wordle apps but so far this one is the best one I've come across. It's the easiest to use with no wacky features or stupid points and prizes~just plain ol' wordle. Pick how many letters you want or make a challenge. Do the daily word or do unlimited. Yep. This is the one I kept!

This app is one of the greatest wordle apps of all time! But what I really like is the way they do ads. They have one tiny ad on the bottom of the screen. And if you want to support them you can turn on full page ads after levels. It even came disabled. I absolutely love this app
