Wordbox is a classic Boggle like that faithfully recreates the feel and gameplay of the original American board game. It's been carefully handcrafted for your phone, and sports most of the quality of life improvements you’d expect from a modern rendition. Match as many English words as possible using the same timeless gameplay that made Boggle so popular!
HOW TO PLAY
Connect words by swiping along letters in the grid to spell them out, then release your finger to enter the word. If your word is recognised, the letters will flash green and your score will increase!

WHY AM I SOMETIMES SEEING ADS?
Wordbox depends on showing the occasional ad to help pay for server costs. There are many features that rely on connecting with our backend in order to work, such as logins, user data backups, multiplayer games, leaderboards, ranked high-scores and the daily challenge. The amount of ads shown will be at the lowest minimum required to make sure things are running smoothly. Keep in mind that making any direct contribution to the app, such as buying any item from the in-game store, will disable all ads forever. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Easy to play, classic rules and set up. It does work well both in and out of service/wifi areas. It's fun and addicting. Helps to pass time.

Really enjoyed this app and spent the money on the pro version. Just upgraded to Android 14 and as others have said it crashes consistently on launch and can't be played. Note that I would also love a sign on that's not Facebook based. I just end up playing anonymous because not going to do that

Gave up. Made multiple attempts to play but it didn't accept a single word. No error, no notification. Just me typing words to see the letters disappear at the top and no points collected.

Over a month of not correcting a crash while loading on the latest version of Android. Actually unplayable. If you're considering supporting monetarily, the dev isn't actually putting anything at all into this.

The game looks so pretty - I love the Victorian sort of feel, and it's only in its beta stage! Can't wait for the next major update. The game plays so similarly to my actual real boggle board at home, and it's nice to play classic boggle with my family while in lockdown.

Would like this game if it would keep me logged in. Game does not acknowledge my account and when clicking "log in" it quickly flashes Facebook but does not log me in. This happens multiple times, so when I want to play a game I spend 10 minutes trying to log in and finally give up. I just wanted to play a quick game not spend minutes trying to get the game to acknowledge my account.

Very good start for an app in beta, but some of the animations should be sped up to improve navigation. Likewise, there should be an option for 3 minute games (as in the official Boggle game) and an option for unlimited time games (unranked?).

Pretty good except that upon completion of a custom game, I cannot exit back to the main menu, or make any actions other than shuffling the board, which is quite annoying. I can't seem to see the list of words I found, nothing.

Clasdic Boggle. The "rotation" feature makes no sense bc it rotates sideways so I cannot read the letters unless I turn my phone around. Please fix that so thst it is a true rotation of the letters. Graphics are attractive. Would like to play against AI for practice.

A good, satisfying game. The sound effects in particular feel really good when playing. My only problem is because of the randomness of the board generation you will sometimes just get... a board full of Es. Also, the UI feels a little unclear when you open it for the first time. But it's good 🫶

great app! closest boggle-like game i've found so far. clean and easy UI, and the gameplay feels smooth and accurate. plus it has a board spin feature which is often overlooked. i also love the random tile rotation option, it just adds to that in-person game feeling.

Best Boggle style app ever. It's extremely light weight and the interface is nice and clean. I've tried a dozen different boggle games bc it's one of my favorite word games and this is always the one I go back to. Great game!

Would be a great game but for two things. Firstly the scoring is nuts! Can we not have please a simple 3 points for a three letter word rising in that nanber to 7 points for a 7 letter word. Longer words could be given an extra point. That is a scoring system we would all understand. As it stands I have at times scored more for a 5 letter word in one game than I have for a 7 letter word in the next. Not satisfying at all! Secondly, having a game interrupted mid flow with an advert is inexcusable

I think it's impossible to find almost every word in a game. Some words I'm not sure if they're even real, i can't find them in a dictionary... and not to mention it actually accepts urban or slang words (but, okay). Sometimes the list includes misspelled words? Maybe i'm just expecting too much for official words and good vocabulary. What i like best in this app are the overall UI, and game options like the timer, scoring, size, etc.

Has potential. Gameplay good. Interface is nice but buttons are too small and not always obvious which ones are options and which are 'greyed out'. Would be better if (1) there was a way to log in which doesn't involve Facebook, (2) it kept a note of your best scores in the app, (3) it gave you the option to see all the possible words you didn't get and some metric for how close you got to perfecting each puzzle.

Overall this app is pretty good but there are a few improvements to suggest: 1. When playing a challenge my friend and I can't seem to play at the same time, even if we hit the start button at the same time. 2. Even with the 'Classic Boggle Scoring' option words that multiple players find are not 'crossed off' (like in Boggle). 3. Some relatively regular words don't seem to be recognised. Is there anything wrong with the word 'stamen'?! It wasn't accepted when I typed it in, among other words.

Replaced another Boggle clone that went annoying with cookie preferences. In many ways this is an improvement. It looks good, plays well, has good options and allows multi player (not that I ever use that). It's lost a start for the annoying as it uses which runs for ever and can't be skipped. I appreciate the need for ads but this is annoying. Very annoying. True, it's not after EVERY game but it is over-long and almost enough to make me delete the app on occasion.

Pros: has seeds so you can go back to previously played games. Cons: 1. You can't see your current string of letters or move back a letter and have to start your word over if you swipe too fast to the wrong letter. 2. I would like to change the size of my board to 5 or 6 as I'm used to a larger boggle board. 3. I would like an unlimited time limit option because I like to just go through and play a board. 4. I would like to as a local account to have the scores of all games listed.

It's been great, easy to play, I like how it shows the words I found as a percent of the total words. It's a nice comparison tool. Had no problems with ads. However, there's been a bug recently where the game tells me I'm offline after a round ends which means and ends up not tracking what words I found so I can't see my score and doesn't allow me to use any of the percentage tools.

I really like this app and I am so glad I found this for a simple Boggle-like game! I would like to suggest two improvements though 1) that there be the option to have like words crossed off when challenging a friend and 2) I'm not sure why but it seems like 90% of the "high score challenges" I compete in do not record my name even when my score falls in the top 8. But then randomly will. It would be so much more satisfying to compete in if it always recorded the score so a fix would be great!
