I'd been using this app for a couple days months and loved it. The more I used it, the more ads, and more annoying. I don't mind sitting through an ad, especially for a free app. But even after letting them run their 30 sec course, I was still forced to go to the play store to view where the app is installed. Only way out is to close the app. Another reviewer said it drained his battery. Agree. Deal breaker for me. Uninstalled!

Happy so far. Ads are reasonable and do not interrupt you while solving a word. Custom words that I can share with friends was a great idea. The bomb item (watch ad to remove a word) is also a reasonable revenue model. So far, this is the best wordle alternative in my opinion. Would like to see some kind of currency/gamification for completing words, maybe can use that currency to purchase bomb items or otherwise. And some daily challenges like complete a word in 3 tries for x points, etc

I take a long time to provide meaningful reviews and I took my time with this app. It is most certainly top notch for what it is. It has a decent challenge factor and can keep you entertained for a pretty decent time, especially if you're strong in English or vocabulary and enjoy testing your language skills and keeping high stats in solving puzzles fast and efficiently. This is so far my favorite word-challenge app of all time! The invasive ads are not as terrible as in other apps... It's a 👍.

UPDATE: The ads after every word are driving me to the point of giving up and deleting. The CONSTANT glitching is uber frustrating!! UPDATE: Way too many ads, NOW, the ads for "Royal, Pain in the Azs, Match" interruption during each puzzle is so annoying I am leaning towards deleting the app. Other wise it isn't bad... not great but not bad...

This is definitely the best Wordle app out there! The UI is very clean and straightforward, and even after 300 levels, I've yet to see a word that has the same letter twice. I will say though, the actual daily challenge has completely disappeared... I no longer have the option to play it. Will gladly rate 5 stars if fixed!

Too many ads! I understand that there need to be ads in a free game, but an AD AFTER EVERY SINGLE WORD?! And they can't be muted. I spend as much time waiting for the button to skip the ad, the button to skip the "play me" screen, the button to close the "Get" screen, as I do playing one word! I am going to look for a better word game.

Very addictive but needs a little more: there are modes to play with 4, 5, 6, and 7-letter words, but they all feed the same statistics so if you only practice one mode your numbers will be better. Having the option to clear the data, or store separate data for the different modes, would encourage people to try them all and see how much harder they are. Also I find that the word bank is fairly small: puzzles would harder if they included more of the less-common words

I like the game itself, it's like Wordle which is what i was looking for so i could challenge my word skills. I am irritated that i paid for the ad removal, and the ads still pop up, only difference is i can skip them instead of having to wait for them to play all the way through to click the x. If that gets fixed, i will gladly raise my rating, but it stays where it is so long as i have to sit through ridiculously loud ads when i paid to go ad free

This is a really good game, one of my favorites, but ads are very intrusive and actually prevent you from playing multiple games. Full screen ads pop up with annoying loud volume and no close icon. Only way to continue the game is to close the whole page and reopen the app. I might pay for"no ads", but not if they can't fix this defect first.

Purchased app to eliminate ads between rounds and played successfully for several weeks. Beginning within the past week or so, I can rarely get the app to load and whenever it does load it crashes or freezes before completing the first game (both solo and battle modes). Have uninstalled and reinstalled to attempt to correct the problem with no success.

I like the challenge of the game. I'd give it 5 stars... However, am giving it only 3 stars as I keep playing the "daily" word challenge, successfully, and it's dropping my progress throughout the week so I lose earning opportunities for game credits. This has been happening almost weekly. It happened again today when it dropped yesterday's successful completion.

This game started out as a great alternative to Wordle, as it allows multiple plays and not only keeps track of your overall average but also the number of games won in a given number of lines. However, there is a glitch whereby the game sometimes starts on the fourth or fifth line, so if you can't guess the word in 2 or 3 tries, it will be counted as a loss. Also, they have begun showing ads from right-wing sponsors which is unpleasant and offensive. Had to uninstall.

It provides words up to seven letters long; and at that level it gives you the 7th letter. I like word games and enjoy this one. Only issue is that it began to glitch: 1. after clicking for extra line, it wouldn't give the line. 2. The game would freeze on an add, and would have to close out the game, then restart. 3. A couple times I had to force reboot because the game went black, and wouldn't exit. I ran a virus scan, but there was no virus. I removed it after the second time.

Game is fun, but it freezes CONSTANTLY. Every two or three puzzles, I have to exit the app. Sometimes it freezes to such an extent that my entire screen goes black and I can't even get out of it without restarting my phone or getting a phone call. I tried the multi-player mode today, and in my second match, it froze and I had to exit, probably annoying the other player. (I've only had it since yesterday, so I definitely have the most updated version.)

When I first started playing the ads weren't that bad but now the ads are excessive. Solve a puzzle, see an ad. Usually the same ad over and over and you can't close it out until it's ran its course. I get that ads are necessary but after every game? Regardless of how fast you figure out the word, there is an ad after each game. Sometimes the solve is faster than the ad. It's ridiculous. Paying for ad removal is absurd. There is no need for so many ads.

Wow has this game gone to isht. I didn't play for awhile and now there's an ad after literally every single game, even if the game is 30 seconds long. And for some reason on some ads when it's over just takes me to the play store over and over again and I have to restart the game. It's happened enough times for me to come back here and dump a low rating. The game loses a star for each time I've had to restart after an ad. Super disappointed because I used to love this game.

great game. but the ads won't go away, even though I paid for it! Got a new phone. Took a couple days to get everything sorted. Ads went away after finishing phone updates and a few reboots, ads went away. Great game! And thanks for the reply. What happened to dark mode? It's ignoring the dark mode setting. Only too bright and brighter now!

It plays like classic Wordle. Unfortunately, it burns too much battery power to play, and it ignores my settings to stop notifications. It sends me notifications obsessively. I wouldn't mind being reminded to play around once per day. But I get notifications about five times in four hours. When I turned them off, the notifications kept coming. When an app defies me, it's gone.

It often doesn't recognize simple English words and glitches in odd ways. For example, I guessed the correct answer, but it didn't register as correct. Then I used 3 hints and there was no other word it could have been with those letters, so I guessed again and it was correct after all. I have uninstalled, there are better options for this type of game.

I absolutely love the game. I hate that every time I try to forward skip or x (close) on ads it always takes me to Google Playstore, and reloads the game because of me hitting my back button. Very tedious, but love wordle. I might just have to stick to my one time daily apps. Too annoying to have to deal with the ads. I'll get it another try but if I get too frustrated, I'll just have to stop playing. I'm on a 20 word streak. Just started.
