You say you can turn the timer off during challenges and it doesn't work! I've tried to turn it off countless times, it only works for the regular one .otherwise the game is great! I am not interested in competing. I am not fast enough to complete a cycle because I can spell a word , hit the button and the word isnt recorded and I have to redo it. I just enjoy playing the game, because its fun!

I like making the words on each level. However, I have noticed almost none of the blue ribbon letters give three letter words anymore. Guess it is a glitch that needs to be fixed. Otherwise, enjoyable.

Every time I press play, the game crashes & exits so I haven't actually had a chance to try the game! Update: the game randomly started working until the latest update & now when you try to play the early bird bonus game, it won't let you move past the first one 🤷🤦 Really disappointing that there's constantly bugs with the game as it's actually a really good game... When it works.

Great, challenging game. The ads though, after every level they are videos for some mind rotting other games that have no appeal. Seems a bit weird to advertise other games if you want people to stick to this one though. Restarting a level after only just starting it caused another ad and I closed the app and deleted it. I understand you need ad revenue but when you attach them to every action it is too intrusive. Great game, unpleasant ad management.

Wanted to try this game, and yes, the actual game seems fun. Unfortunately I didn't have the patience to try it enough to decide whether to buy it or not, because of the ads. I know ads are important but this was just to much. Four (4!) ads from when I started one game until the next game started. Time-locked, had to endure 30 seconds of ads each time, so a total of 2 minutes from one game to the next. Would have been fine with one or two ads - this was way too much for me.

Update: 17-Mar-2020... A NEW BUG. The game resets and the Challenge screen comes up EVERY TIME the phone is brought out sleep of it is left unattended with the game on... Grrr!! Pretty silly!!! Levels don't have any indication of bonus levels already completed. One must remember the last completed main level and start with the next one whenever one beginning (or continuing) the game... OR one must visually check each main/bonus level to see which has been completed and which hasn't.

There are no developers more responsive than donkeysoft. This is the best game out. Word worm in the big city is the best IMO. The graphics are beautiful. If you like challenges, you will absolutely love THIS game.

I like to make longer words for a higher score as opposed to getting lots of small words. However, when I can't see any that are long enough (10+ letters) then I'll do a few shorter words so that I don't miss the squares with symbols! I enjoy this game because I've always been considered a good speller which really helps in this game! Noticing the symbols quickly comes with practice, so Play, Play, and Play to increase your scoring power! You'll get hooked on it too!

I've been on the lookout for a good word game for a while, and this one hits just right! I like to play it without a timer (you can turn it off in the settings). In addition, the developer is very responsive and helpful. I ran into what is probably a rare bug that was making it difficult for me to play. I sent a message, and they responded to me quickly, and we found a solution! :)

Well...again...I reinstalled to see if the bugs were worked out (kept freezing and making me start again at level 4 about 4 months ago) NOTHING changed...still does it. Great game but who wants to play a game that keeps crashing? If this helps..I did notice the ads were all squiggly and cutting out 🤷‍♀️ Uninstalling...sorry.

Wish I could see my best score from games I've completed already before I restart them... So I can challenge myself to do better. But you have to play thru the level to see your personal best and your ranking. If I could see a rank or score at the beginning of each level previously completed, this game would definitely be my favorite! newest update needs work. keep getting a script error and the game crashes. 👎 update: bugs fixed!! thanks guys!!

I love Word Wow. I paid for all the games because I love them so much. You can turn off the music if you want to, and turn off the timer. The only improvement needed is to be able to turn off the leaderboard. I play alone. I don't like that screen popping up every time I finish a level. 😦 Other than that, they're the best games in the Play store!

I love this game! I still like the original Bookwork game, but this one is good. As for the people complaining about the ads, they really don't pop up as much as they claim. Remember, the game is free. And as others have mentioned, you normally can hit the "x" in the upper corners of the ads after five seconds. Plus you can get free bombs by watching ads on your own with the "free bombs" option. So for a free game, I think it's one of the best!😊

Update: The glitch is long gone and the game is back to being very good. I bought the game quite some time back, It always worked beautifully. Good graphics, challenging game. The last update completely blew up the game. It wouldn't open. Even though I was very far along on the game, I uninstalled it, ran CCleaner, did a couple of reboots and reinstalled the game. It still didn't work. I have the other Word Wow games. They're lots of fun and work great.

Seems fun at first. The premise is to get the worm to the bottom by the time the fuse runs out. Problem is, at the bottom in stage two of the game, all the letters end up being vowels that you can only get by with the bombs. Bombs are needed more frequently. Free bombs are given after watching a 30 second ad. Or, of course you'll need to buy bombs in order to pass anything after the first building levels. I'm going to uninstall it now.... Bummer.

I love this game and it's so cute. Challenging as well. The music is fun yet relaxing, graphics are good. The ads take away joy from the game. They say we're suppose to be able to back out after 5 seconds but that is rarely the case. Then you get two ads back to back after every game. I suddenly remember why I initially deleted this years ago. Shame. It's annoying having to confirm facebook login every time I open the game.

Absolutely awesome, challenging and fun! I really enjoy taking a break with this game and if I don't do so well, i can replay any level as much as I want. It's quite challenging going against the timer, getting all the stars, and trying to use as many letters as possible -- big words are best of course. You can turn the timer off if you don't want to rush. Truthfully, this game is great either way and I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to push their skills.
