It does what it looks like it does. But with a bit too many animations and sound effects for my liking. Update: Animations seem quicker than I remember. Owl Hunt is improved, but can not be perfected any other way than luck as long as there are multiple options for the active word. But you can still 3-star it, which is close enough 👍

Keeps the brain ticking over. However, noticed American spellings and some bonus English words missing. Letterhunt events sometimes end early and you are unable to complete. I completed the Valentines day letterhunt in 2 days, the points will not add to my account. Keeps showing end picture with confetti saying I've completed, with option to continue my game. Yet points won't add to my account. On achievements list shows 2/3 incomplete. Game freezes too. Tried updating App. Doesn't work!

I love this game, it's my go-to game for passing time waiting for trains, or insomnia etc. But since my phone updated it keeps crashing when I try to open the app, displays "Something Went Wrong" takes several goes to get in. I can't see how to update...please help! Update - removed app, re installed, now can't turn the blummin sound off, nightmare!

Netflix version. This is a fun, unexpectedly addictive game. But it has quite a large flaw. The coin rewards for completing crosswords are pitifully small, especially when compared to the amount needed for the most basic, 1 letter hint. Apart from making words not in the crossword & the daily puzzle, there aren't any other ways to get coins. So, if you do get stuck & you don't have enough coins, then it's basically game over; which is a real shame.

A satisfying time waster if a bit a dummed down with an annoying repetitive "well done...great...fantastic" feedback. I have spent over 13 hours playing and have got to level 118 l but even at this stage it is pretty simple kids stuff, yet only 19% of players complete the puzzles at this early stage. I like that there is a dictionary built in to support vocabulary building. I'll get to the next milestone (Argentina...level 131 I think) and quit because life is too short.

great game, no ads!! Update, several weeks later: We'll, it was fun for a while. But once I figured out how the bonus points work, the frustration started: it is not that the bonus counter falls to zero when I wildly make up words but when VALID words (those one can find in an actual dictionary) are not accepted. It feels like rather than enjoying this otherwise very clever game, my brain is being trained to remember which words are acceptable, which aren't. It killed off the fun for me.

I like the game but despise the fact that even though I have all sound and music turned off, somehow whenever I open up the game again I have to turn the music off again, even though it shows it being off! Very annoying! Game is great and sometimes quite a challenge.

It gets really repetitive. At first I thought it would be an ad free version of Wordscapes (because the ads are just terrible), but it quickly maxed out puzzle size and the same words get used again and again. I was hoping it would get more challenging by adding an extra letter and increasing the box numbers but it hasn't changed. It has potential.

It's fun. A good timekill. It gets a bit boring as they tend to use the same words over and over and over again. The music doesn't change, so you're bored half to death whenever you're solving a puzzle and the sound when choosing letters or when you find words works whenever it wants to. For the most part, it's fun but you'll be bored while solving. Sooooooo.......

Starts off easy, slow to get challenging. Sounds settings are wonky. Every time I restart the game, music plays in the background, despite my it being turned off in the settings. If I toggle the sound settings a couple times it will turn off again. Generally low production values in this game. I expected more from a Netflix supported game. I hear that they have since updated the app and the experience may be better. I don't currently have a Netflix subscription, so can't say whether it's fixed

It's a great version of the word scramble game. I like the daily puzzles/trivia rewards and the occasional event add-ons. Thank you for fixing the music bug. Two small issues: 1) I've noticed that if I fill the bonus jar, it resets the score for that puzzle to 0. 2) A great quality of life feature would be to have a "clear" icon to swipe to beneath the swipe circle to clear the selection without having to back trace everything already selected. That can be frustrating.

It's a fine enough game. The letters I need for the scene challenge stopped showing up out of nowhere and haven't returned - there's no way to contact support from what I'm seeing, so I have to vent my frustrations from here. Feels infuriating that I'm only a few letters away and I can't complete it because of what is presumably a bug, AND that I have no way to get support. 1 star for a terrible user experience

Relaxing and great visuals. However, I have frequent tech issues with the game freezing or not recognizing the letters I'm trying to connect. The issue persists even with restarting the latest version of the app, and there's no obvious way to submit a complaint about a technical issue.

Relaxing while stimulating. I enjoy this game to fill the time without stressing me out too much trying to figure things out. It can get repetitive. I too thought it would get more challenging as I reach higher levels. Please fix a bug that takes over the phone sound when starting up (like Spotify already playing music). I have the app sounds and music disabled, but opening the app stops my playing music.

The daily puzzle has many words with the same amount of letters and gives no clue to spell first where the owl appears but it keeps promoting to do so. The game freezes continually and also when the puzzles appear for the different countries many of the words have no relation to the country it takes you to. It's entertaining but lacks in many ways.

Almost Perfect! Excellent (addictive) word game. No ads. No trying to sell me anything. Love it. One request/suggestion: It would be great if I could "click" on a word to see a definition. I've made it far enough into the game that I'm frequently correctly guessing words that I don't think I've ever seen or heard. It'd be a great feature to see what some of those words mean. Solid work, Dev Team. *Edit - Word definitions have been added. Official Perfection Acheived. *Edited again for spelling.

The app literally crashes every initial time you open it. It's annoying. Also, after day 5 the rewards stay the same. There's no variety in the type of puzzles either, after so many levels the words repeat themselves. When there are events the closer you get to finishing the event, the hard it is for you to complete it. When your start events you get a lot of letters, but the closer you get to completing it you might end up doing 10-20 puzzles to get 1 letter.

Everything I'd expect out of this game. Love it except for two things: 1. Touch sensitivity disappears while playing sometimes. 2. I've turned off the music, but it comes back on every time I get back on the app. I go to turn it back off and it is already showing that it's off, so I have to turn it back on and off again....Every time I open the app. Edit: they have updated the app and this is no longer an issue. 5 stars.

Update: the developer responded to my prior review, so I tried the game again. They have made several improvements. My favorite of which is a dictionary fiction so you can select a word and see a definition. I'm still not sure about the the daily puzzles, and the point system still feels unbalanced. Regardless: very fun game! old: I enjoy the game, except when it gives archaic words or spellings. Got stuck on a puzzle? Use a hint. Out of hints? Game over... I guess? Poorly thought-out.

Fun, but that "bonus word" bank starts to get irritating when you're trying to complete a puzzle and every word you guess just goes to the bonus collection instead of the main puzzle. It's weirdly arbitrary. Some words are bizarrely archaic; I suspect the team that creates it is European. Having said all that it really is fun, and I play it nearly every day!
