I have this app installed on my tablet, and I love playing it. However, I installed it on my phone, and it's nowhere to be seen. Although, if I go into settings and look in installed apps, it's there.

It feels very Raw, almost as if it was made with the intention of giving it in as a Class Assignment. That being said. I like the simplicity of the design, the overall gameplay and experience is a positive one. #1 of its type, for me. Extra/Hidden Words. Nothing more frustrating than seeing a Word and not being able to select it.

Used to really like this game. Simple. You search for words. No coins, no rewards and no ads. It will not save a game if you stop it in the middle of a game. But lately I've noticed it's allowing crude words that should not be allowed in words games. And as I don't need to deal with that, I'm not. Deleting. Too bad.

UPDATE - BEWARE! Now seeking consent to share personal data with an endless list of vendors. Even when you opt out (unselect vendors 1 by 1), Word Search FAQ states: "What if I don't consent? Your personal data won't be used for the above, unless we and our vendors determine that we have a legitimate interest to do so." Ads covering the word grid! When on course to break a personal best, it is frustrating to have an ad pop up and cover the top 2 lines of letters. Who approved this nonsense?

This game has been with me since my first smartphone (which was at least four upgrades ago). While I occasionally could wish for a potential link to a dictionary for a few words that do not seem to fit my vocabulary, over all, I enjoy the challenge, and the stability that a simple game can bring - complex games can be fun, but they are also, mostly, exhausting. No matter WHAT other games I may flirt with, this is the one I will never leave.

2021 Update - I still enjoy this word search four years later - not TOO easy! Not too hard - just plug along in "the zone" I seek when I want to turn my mind away from real life! Soothing, zoning, relaxing - I will say though, I always find words not included in the list - how about adding a feature which allows for marking those?

I've had this app for a very long time, and I've always loved it. It's simple, the ads aren't intrusive, and there's no annoying and useless animations for fake polish. The only bad things I can say are that the words get a little repetitive and they are NOT suitable for all ages, which isn't a problem for me, but some may be offended by "porn" being one of the words.

Needs a true dark mode. I've been using this app for years and always loved how simple, beautiful and stable it is, with a great selection of words and word lengths. That being said, I think this app is direly needing a true dark mode. Just having the background being a dark gray with the rest of the screen blaring white isn't a good enough dark mode especially when you're playing this at night/in dim light. I will gladly change my review to five stars if this is revisited

I like that I can play my own music while playing this game and that there's not a heavy ad presence. I wish there were more colors you could choose as the wordsearch background. Also, it seems like a LOT of the words were made up. If you don't like having to deal with the pressure of a timer actively monitoring your progress this would be good game to play.

Would rate 5 stars if the puzzles saved. Every time I'm in the middle of one, if I have to check a text or turn off my phone for even a moment, I'm surprised with a new puzzle and all progress gone on the previous one... Should be an option to change in settings. A decent app, if you don't mind it being a requirement that you give it your undivided attention. P.s. Reading through the reviews, I noticed absolutely no feedback from the developer concerning issues. 1 star now, and uninstalling.

I've been using this app for a long time. It's very good. The different colors make it easy to see what you've selected, and there is a dark mode. There are ads, but they're small banner ads on the bottom and not at all intrusive. The searches are randomized, so there's nothing special like themes or difficulties, but you get a unique puzzle each time. Very solid.

this app keeps me busy and entertained during short periods when I need to pass the time. the list of words is always changing and every single puzzle i do seems to walk the perfect line of easy and challenging. very minimal in app ads keep me from getting distracted from my timed puzzles. this game also keeps track of your top scores based on competition times. love it, have recommended it to my whole family who also play this app often.

2023 UPDATE: This game doesn't work well with gesture navigation in Android. The columns of letters on the far left and right are right in the gesture area, thus causing a "back" navigation gesture if dragging inward from the edge. That makes it VERY hard to play. Otherwise use an ad blocker for the ads and this game is perfect.

When I loaded up this app, I loved how simple it was. Lots of words to keep you occupied for a while, ads that don't pop up in your face, and pretty pastels that aren't too vibrant. If they are too vibrant for you, you get the option to change it to greyscale. Can't understand the language? You can change that, too! Want reverse answers? You can have those, playing at night? There's a dark mode! This app is so changeable and I love it! The best word search app out there 😁

I quite like this word search game! I find the colors distracting, but the greyscale version works great. I've enjoyed this app for sometime, BUT recently, the ads move the puzzle down just enough that I can't see the lower line of words at the bottom. It's not a BIG deal, since they come to the top row as you mark off words, but it's enough of an annoyance to keep the app from being 5 stars.

I haven't tried any others apps, so I can't compare. However, I like that this is a basic word search game and it highlights the words in different colors. It has a light mode and a dark mode, which I like. There is a thin Banner of ads at the top of the page, which can be slightly distracting but they never interfere with the game. I also like that the app times your games. I will name my games with the date that way I can keep track of what dates I took longer or solved it faster.

What's not to love about this app?? The ads stay on top of screen (no annoying video that pops up), easy settings, a great mix of words, simple design, and extremely easy to use. The only thing I would say is that I wish the "dark setting" would make the whole screen black. However, that's not enough for me to make it lose a star. It's nice having a simple crossword puzzle that's easy on the eyes. Definitely recommend 👍

I enjoy word search games, regardless of level, obscurity of words, difficulty, simplicity, etc. My only negative about any game has more to do with appearance. There's something about this game that makes it uncomfortable to play for very long. Whether it's the size of the letters (almost too big) or the spacing, I don't know for sure. I had to use the dark screen option and that helped a little. Also, once many words are found, the letters become obscured by the pastel "mark off" stripes.

Have had this app on my phone for a long time & like it a lot. It's fun & relaxing. The issue is with the ads. Most ads have rolling text thru multiple screens. It's impossible for me to play game when ads are constantly moving...screen after screen after screen after screen. It never ends. Look at Boost Mobile ad for example. Changing from 1 ad to another is fine but the scrolling has to stop. Otherwise I have to block my screen to not see them. Not workable. How about ads between games?

I had this in the "ballpark" of two years ago, but lost it in the switch over to a new phone. It barely resembles what I remember and seems just a bit bland, but it remains to be good for passing time with my brain still engaged. I find the issue of my finger being sensed on the wrong line carried over but it's mostly correctable with a small stylus (which one can always find somewhere for free!)
