Not a bad word game to pass the time. I enjoy it. Lots of ads and the butterfly mini game feels really random. In later levels you'll get boards that seem impassable because you'll memorize the whole board and fill it everytime, but for whatever reason you won't score enough butterflies before filling the whole board and therefore fail. Feels like that side of the game wasn't well thought out. Overall not bad. Worth playing.

The graphics are great. It's a beautiful game. The game dictionary is pretty expansive, including many words that other similar games won't recognize. I enjoyed that. My issue is with the controls. When connecting letters, it often glitches causing wrong letters to be selected. When you hit a goal and the message pops up to tell you, any letters you have selected will freeze and glitch, breaking any streak you may have going. The letter grouping is also too close together, making it extremely easy to swipe slightly too close to the wrong letter, luckily my stylus solved that problem but I would prefer to not need it. The control issue is frustrating enough that it is the only reason I won't pay for the ad free version. If this were fixed the game would easily be a 5 star game.

Every time an ad tries to play the game shuts off and reboots. I can't even open any of the butterfly gifts and I've passed a few of them. I do like the game but come on...Fix this issue! I'm not sure how a screenshot of the initial loading screen will help you fix the issue here and I'm being as specific as I can. When an ad tries to play between the levels, the game shuts off and reboots, EVERY TIME. I'm sorry if that's not helpful enough for you, but that's what I have.

I love this game. Due to an accident, I had to buy a new phone and couldn't transfer my apps. So now that I have the new version there are stupid ads after every level. It is really annoying. I realise that there is an option to purchase the no ad package but there shouldn't be ads between every level. It's not good for attracting people to play your game. I would have rated you five stars, but those ads...

Great game its fun and love the butterfly game too. I never had an issues with this game when I first started playing. I can make it through maybe 2 rounds then the on 3rd round after being just about done it freezes up and it brings me to the home screen. About 95% of the time I have to to start the round over. Its extremely annoying if this didn't happen I would continue to play. The ads don't really bother me most if the time you can skip it after a few seconds. Wish I could give it 5 stars.

Everything you do requires an ad? An ad after two or three games great but to use it ad, to get out of it ad, to go to the next level ad and you ARE REQUIRED TO WAIT 30 SECONDS before you can go ahead!!! And it eats up too much battery life. By the time I'm past one level and one AD my battery is down at least a % if not more. This game is a battery sucking waste.

First of all, I saw an ad for this game that isn't accurate (showed that it was a stick man game that eas a wordsearch). Second, it's super laggy. Also won't register some words the first try (spelled "CON" and it said it wasn't a word, tried it again and it took?!). Lastly, the ads are unpredictable and very heavy (played a similar free game and ads weren't as heavy...actually had none of these problems, so get the Cookie version of this game...much better).

Advertised as story-based, but no story at all. Tutorial-style instructions are intrusive and cannot be turned off, showing up repeatedly even after levels without tutorials. Ads excessive, appearing in the middle of a level (interrupting play) as well as between levels. Similar to many other games and a poor example of the type.

I'm obsessed with playing Word Crossy. In the beginning there were a lot of ads, true. But they stopped after a certain level. I am actually on level 1656. I'm pretty good with words, as I am a writer, and this still challenges me. It's actually somewhat improved my vocabulary. I like how it's not a dumb color-match game, and doesn't irritate you to death with graphics and such. I'm excited to see what level I can get to. Recently the "word" "nth" was accepted! I really do love this game; great for wordsmiths.

I like the game, but it's still a basic word/crossword style game where you string letters together to form words. At level 250, I still have not seen ANYTHING beyond the basic play. No picture puzzles, picture clues, or any of that stuff. The little stick dude hasn't even so much as prairie dogged me yet. The ads are very annoying, but I choose not to pay to play/pay to win.

I really enjoy this game. The only thing that it lost a star for is not having the option to go back to previous days that you missed playing the daily challenge. That's my favorite part of the game! Also, could be a bit faster when a round is complete and waiting to go to the next, but that's a small thing. Update 3/7/21-I've been playing this game for years. I finished the butterfly challenge months ago. Are you guys going to make anymore of those levels passed 54?

This is a very fun game and it will keep you entertained for hours. The problem with the game is that it takes forever to load and is inundated with excessively long ads, none of which you can skip. The ads interrupt game play and are very long and frustrating. I understand that the developers are in this to make money, but, seriously guys, do you have to force us to watch 30 to 60 second ads between each level?! The scoring appears to be totally random, and the game instructions give you no clue as to how the score is determined. In addition, the graphics for receiving your coins slows down gameplay by making you wait for the coins to be added before you can move on to the next level. The real rub to this is that the coins are useless! You can't even use them to buy new hints! Ridiculous! The app also takes up a tremendous amount of storage space, which I'm almost certain is due to the massive number of ads. It is a very fun game but the fun is diminished by all of its add ons.

I don't have a problem with ads. I mean; everyone has to earn a living, but there's a point where it goes from a necessity to an act of greed that completely ruins the experience, and this game is a perfect example of that. They didn't begin to appear until level ten, and in the 20 additional levels I've cleared since... the game has been interrupted by ads 18 times. They're so frequent and pervasive that it kills any desire I have to keep playing after today.

Challenging game and helpful hints. You get to watch videos to get the extra coins if you get stuck until you either hit a certain level or you buy cons in the app. At thehigher levels you no longer get the option to watch a video to get coins so you HAVE to buy the coins for hints of your stuck which is why this gets a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating. Way too many ads-there is one after every single game which if you're quick it gets annoying very fast!

I enjoy this game. It's challenging and yet peaceful. But I can't purchase or utilize the purchase screen now because it's opening behind the game-if that makes sense? I can see the screen pop up offering me purchase options but it's behind the first screen that pops up after I run out of lives and xing out closes both. Any ideas on how you can fix that?

They give intrusive ads after every level, which usually last longer than the levels themselves. You get a bonus for completing a level without using a word that doesn't exist, including words that don't fit in the crossword but the game does recognize as a real words. Problem is, the game something recognizes words in one level but not another. WARN is apparently necessary in one level, but not a real word used in the next one, just to stop your bonus. Also too easy lvl 300+

doesn't differentiate itself - it's really not all that different from other vocabulary matching games. i tried it because an ad showed interacting with some words causing consequences to the background graphics. that doesn't seem to happen at basic levels and after 30m it wasn't worth sticking with it. way, way, way too many ads for interesting gameplay. it's an okay game, but earns a D for heavy ads in a generic vocabulary clone. better choices. deleting.

I like the game but uninstalled it because I could only buy 1 coin package. I tried reinstalling to see if there was a difference. Yes there was. Now the game glitches incessantly, closes constantly, can't draw the word for the puzzle, still can only buy 1 coin package. What a waste. So I uninstalled it again. Developers you need to work on your game!

I've been playing this game for years. I paid for ad free. Instead of ads, I now get bothered after almost every level asking me if I want to watch an ad for a few coins. Game has become glitchy, won't trace words correctly or freezes for a couple seconds mid word. The fake and misspelled words are getting out of control. The in game dictionary isn't that great, it won't give you definitions for plural words, but the singular word won't register in order to see the actual definition.

I've been playing this game for over a decade now. I really enjoy it, and have recommended it to friends. Lately, you've been using lighter and lighter background images. More times than not, I can't see how many letters are in a word of the puzzle, or even that there's a word left to answer! Please always select darker images or put a dark line around each letter box. I'm begging you! Will change my rating 5 stars if that happens!
