Initially I really liked this game. Fun, challenging, relatively free of annoyance. After about 60 levels, however, the ads become more persistent, refusing to go away even when the X appears, opening Google Play whether I tap on it or not. Also has gotten glitchy, freezing, forcing me to restart the app to continue. Update - deleted, ads won't close, some repeat as if once isn't enough. Well I have had enough

Excessive ads ruin the experience. I'm ok watching ads, especially when they are optional or tied to a reward. But these levels take around 10 seconds to complete and you have to watch an ad after each one, ads that are usually longer than a level took to complete. On top of that constant click bat things to click on to force you to watch more ads. It's just too much.

Game was fun. Nice layout, made you think and was pretty enjoyable. My problem came when, after about level 30, I was bombarded with ads almost every other level. Even when it gave me the option of watching an ad for free coins and I said no, I would still get an ad. The first 30-35 levels were great, minimal or subtle ads, and made me actually think about spending some money on it. Once I started getting ads almost after every level, it was too much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Constant ads, 15-30 seconds and unskippable. Your progress is only saved on your device. If you ever change devices, you will have to start over from the beginning. There is no way to skip levels, so if you ever change devices or lose the installed game for any reason, you'll have to replay all of the exact same levels you already did before you can get to any new content.

Reviews were generally good regarding ads and how often they appear. When I first started playing, ads were infrequent. Now after every completed puzzle I get at least two, sometimes three ads in a row before being able to play the next puzzle. While I don't mind an occasional ad, this is ridiculous. Doesn't make it worthwhile to play. Will probably delete soon.

Bugs: The game fails to load (crashes to home screen) about 1/4 of the time. The daily challenge lacks the "play" button more often than not. Controls: The main game has a tutorial. The minigames do not. Took me a minute to realize the target in the arrow game was the closest word, not the upright one. Words: Not impressed. "Tapas" is Spanish, and should not be in the English version. There are other letter combinations which aren't even real words, while actual words are counted wrong.

Loved the game until the most recent update. Now if you don't finish a puzzle level, the words you've entered already are gone the next time you load the game and it gives you a slightly different set of acceptable words, even though it's the same level number and letters. Tested multiple times, same result. The update also moved the shuffle button (probably the most common button in the game,) to an area that makes it difficult to play one-handed with your left hand, on large screens. I can get used to the button being moved, but deleting entered words and then changing the puzzle slightly makes the game non addicting.

Quite challenging...but fun! Tends to get a bit more difficult further on, but still a good workout. continued, quite often somewhat common words are turned down...a tad frustrating but part of the overall challenge. Into September, still going strong! One of the better mind 😉😉😉 games . As to some complaints regarding ads...there are so few things that are truly free.Still going strong. Still playing most everyday...helps keep the ol' brain going. Still playing every day. Over a year now!

When I first started playing, the Morning & Evening Challenges were quick, short games that I looked forward to every day as an interesting diversion from the regular game. I'm not sure what happened, but in the last month or so, that has changed...not much difference between these and the regular game now. Also when I try to view ads for extra points, most times there are none available. Until recently, I always looked forward to exercising my brain with this game. Not much fun anymore.

It would be a cool game if the ads weren't 3 times as long as it takes to solve the word puzzle. I timed it. And the ads are tricky, and other apps & games were added to my homescreen if I tapped on the X too soon. In one hour I had to delete 4 games that it added. And the side games aren't anything really. You get coins. And cards with dog names. You collect words. That's it. You don't DO or GET anything for that. And I understand free games have ads, but LHM these are soooo long. I deleted it.

Just another stupid game...its nothing like the ad. Sometimes I wonder if the developers even know what the ad for their game looks like! Like this one, the ad makes it look like a choice/choose the right spelling game...when in fact it's a game where you just spell out words! Whoever clears these ads needs to be more realistic about what the content of the game is and actually show real content not some vid that has nothing at all to do with the game.

fun to play, but you have to pay to rid yourself of ads or else you will have to watch a 30 sec ad after each game. That being said, it's not expensive and it is totally worth it! I'm addicted, it passes the time quick and it's great for brain building exercise. I would definitely recommend it!!*update 10/3/23 still addicted and still a great way to pass the time12/14/23** even better rewards than before!!

GREAT Word Game. Plenty of challenges to work on while finding words. It's time to update that review. Lost the game w/ a new phone, so lost💲. My son talked me into loading the game in again I did and have been spending 💲 again. The other day I was playing and one of the icons on the rt side of the screen disappeared. It's the one where you buy a letter but place it yourself. Troubleshooting did not help, so here I am out 💲again! Was up to level 800. It's the wasted 💲that has me upset!!

Good game, too many ads. Apparently it's not enough with the ads showing constantly at the botton of the screen, which, by the way, if you pass your finger too close to it, game will pause and a different window/tab will open and show you an ad. The other ads play randomly through the game levels. Some will play after a few, couple of levels, but in my case, I started playing after every single level, that when I decided to uninstall the game. By the way... good game, after all.

Extremely addicting ! Hard to put down. I can play for hours and hours and never get anything done lol ! Keeps the mind fresh and great for memory. Challenging, finding new words I never knew existed. I stay up way too late at night playing this. As the levels go up it gets harder. Still can't stop playing. Still addicted to this months later.

Just. Friggen. Horrible. The free version is a waste of time. I made it to level 35, spending about the same amount of time playing as I am waiting for ads to FINALLY display the little x so I can get back to the game. I get it that the ads pay for my game, but the number and lengths of them make this game unplayable. Besides all that, though, there's no real challenge in this particular version of the game. Every puzzle is about 3rd or 4th grade level of difficulty. Uninstalling.

Edit: i really dislike the new format in the update. The letters are hard to swipe and its not visually pleasing. I may be addicted to the game! I love the apple frenzy tournament. Update: I suggest bringing back the Spin collect reward during the week. I loved this. And, do the Apple Frenzy Tournament once a week. I love trying to win food for the pets.
