A year after my 1st review and no improvement. App still frustrating. So slow! Takes so long, I might as well drive to the shop. At the very least, fix it to store my substitute products! I have to select it every time I use the app. Absolute worst app ever. It never seems to work properly!

This app is an absolute disaster. It's absurdly slow and riddled with bugs. Woolworths seriously needs to hire competent app developers. It's astonishing that a company of their size continues to release updates without fixing the persistent issues. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app entirely. Just go to the store or use sixty60 instead.

App was working fine and suddenly can't order anymore... every time I load up my shopping list and try to scroll down, the app crashes. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall and problem persists.

Quite a bad experience, most of the time. It's slow, refresh is bad, payments often fail. Honestly land up using 60Sixty just because of the UI. Ridiculous really, given the brand.

OMS, this app is so frustrating. I have a cart for dash and cannot check out. Says oops something went wrong... I even rebooted my phone. What is happening???? 10 Nov 2022. Today, 13 Jun 24, it is still frustrating me to no end. I participated in your survey regarding the app and offerings and still the worst app ever. I have a substantial amount in my online cart but can not check out. I must phone the call center. NO!

This is one of the worst apps ever. It doesn't allow you to stay signed in, everytime I try to view my profile it says session expired. Because it doesn't keep me signed I'm not able to purchase anything online, and when I do I can't track it and don't get updates my orders.

Great to see a single switch to change substitution options a year later. However, search functionality in substitution function is not working properly. If I search for chicken liver pate in main search I find it, if I try to search for it in substitution search nothing I did could pick it up, from pate to exact name with all the special characters. 8 variations attempted.

This app is not user friendly. It lags a lot and honestly is very frustrating to use. Everything takes far to long to load, I may as well drive to the shops. Wasnt able to load or even search for substistutions so you just hope you hope the shop has your items. There are multiple competitor apps that are much easier to use.

The app is so slow and glitchy. Only order what I can't find on the Checkers or PnP app. The other two apps are so much faster and user friendly. I dont like how you have to wait for each screen to load and the app doesn't remember your substitutes. Every time I order I have to put in a substitute for each item from scratch. My orders are normally the same each week and I dread having to spend time on this app watching the screens load slowly.

As much as I love using the Woolies app, it has frustrated me today. I placed an order when I was at work that did not arrive in time, and I didn't receive the confirmation email like I normally do. I'm not sure whether there is a problem with the app or if it was a network problem. There should be an option on the app to change delivery times.

This is possibly the worst app for shopping, the dash part is forever super slow and crashing. Its hard to search for substitutes because you can find things to add to your cart and the very same items aren't available as subs. Its the most annoying app to shop on. By the time you are able to successfully add all items to your cart you have aged a year and there's no delivery time slots. Just the worst. Checkers 60 and ASAP are so much better.

Edit: now this doesn't even wok. I have blank lists and no order history. Can you get some decent devs onto this app please? Now if I want to use a shopping list I have to clear cache and data and then log in again. I see the page of lists, but each time I open one it circles then shows a blank page. You've truly managed to break a previously good app.

Having scrolled through a lot of the reviews it seems a common complaint that the app is cumbersome. How does one set up a list of common items that are used weekly. I see as you input it stores about 6 items but I need my usual items there and then will add to it I think the Sixty60 app has previous items ordered underneath so one can scroll and re-order. Thanks I have found the List but not easy to navigate between the list and the order.

I have just used Woolies DASH for the first time, and it delivered! Literally and figuratively. 😊 However there's one small glitch, I accidentally went 'back' on my phone, and was unable to get back to that order page, and track my order. So instead I had to stand at my front door and keep a look out for a delivery guy. I might add this is not just DASH, but all the delivery apps. It's extremely annoying.

Terrible app. SO frustrating. Update: 1. Chat function in Dash is 🗑. I often miss the shopper because the app freezes randomly. 2. Doesn't make sense for some basic options to not have substitute items. Update 3 June 2023. It's shocking that even after consistently awful reviews the app is still terrible. It's the worst retail app I've ever come across. Absolutely atrocious.

New to use this app, and it is particularly bad. Takes forever to load anything to your shopping cart or to navigate around. So many bad reviews, perhaps Woolies need to relook their app... I would love to use it, but with the speed of things, I just can't sit and wait minutes for one item to be added to my shopping cart.

I've not had major difficulties previously, however, my current experience has been extremely disappointing. I have been unable to access my cart for the past 2 weeks and after logging a technical problem with online shopping, the customer service consultant suggested that I use a computer or laptop to log in, instead. The issue is still unresolved, despite uninstalling and re-installing the app.

Just a terrible, terrible experience. I'm a software developer and in my opinion the whole dev team behind this app should be fired. Among the many things wrong with this app: - Incredible slow and laggy. All data retrieval appears to be synchronous, which makes the UI feel like mud. - Performance degrades over time. The app gets slower and slower until it puts you out of your misery by crashing completely. - Buggy. Ie. Shopping list says every single item is out of stock, even when they arent

Forced to use app instead of website for Dash. Uncomfortable for older people. Impossible to navigate large shopping lists with ease. Try it, big list, two or three lists, and now try quickly shopping. It's painful. No logic and no way of sorting list items. Spamming. When you turn on notifications for checkout messaging you suddenly also get spammed. Back button on products too small. Drivers pitched before allocated time and then impossible to get customer services.

All in all not a bad experience if you're willing to go without certain freedoms. But most of the substitution lists haven't been populated, and those that have are short. You can search for your own, but most of the time, that option doesn't work. It was better when they had shoppers handling your substitutions. I'd prefer the option of doing my own subs, but only if that option actually works. Right now you just have to make do with 2nd rate subs you don't even like.
