Among similar block moving games, this Wood Block Puzzle is the best I have tried. Three excellent features I'd like to cite here: 1. As soon as a block is moved to the field, a new block emerges so I can plan my next move; 2. There is a button to abort the game; 3. No intrusive ads . I can't find these features in other games. Excellent!

BETTER. BETTER than most games of this ilk. In most of these games you have to use all 3 pieces that you are given, and then you get 3 replacements. In this game you get a replacement every time you use a piece. This makes it a better game, of course imho. Overall it's a solid game like dozens of others. And it's free, (apart from all your data being sold to dozens of companies.)

Absolutely no different from other block puzzle/stacking games. The 2022 across a banner in corner of app pic gives the impression game has improved from past similar apps. It's nothing of the kind. Game is the exact same as past apps alike...you try to beat your last highest score by basically playing the same game over and over. Tile placement is the only minor skill needed but with the game giving you the same large tiles over and over, your real competition is the luck of the draw.

I was playing a different block puzzle with all these bright colors. It was okay but hard to improve your scores because you had to use all 3 pieces before 3 more were shown. I find Wood Block Puzzle much more interesting because it allows you to strategize more given that a new puzzle piece is displayed every time you use one. I also find it more relaxing without all the colors.

I like it, it's simple and challenging. However, it does lack the rotation feature , and a box where you can set aside a block. Additionally, your app is flat not dimensional. I prefer a wood puzzle that can have those missing features your app lacks. But I did enjoy trying your app. Thank you.

Once you finish a game it slides over a phishing ad that's insidious as it looks like you need to update the app but instead it's a link to install another game, and the close button on the insidious ad also gets you to install another game. Very terrible experience and quite cynical from the developer.

Fun, and not over run with ads like others. EDIT: In reference to the ads, they are deceptive, telling you that there is an update for this app, when in fact they want to install a different app on your device. I call it lying! I am reducing my rating from 5* to 3*.

Apr 27, 2024 . . . Still enjoying the app while trying to beat my highest score. The wood look is calming to the eye. 😁 . . . [Jan 24, 2020: Been playing for a while. Not so easy once I got a fairly high score. Good! Makes the game even more fun. Still in love. Now more than ever. Thanks! . . . . PS: I mainly play offline and haven't had any problems with the gameplay.] . . . [Nov 4, 2020: Still loving the game.]

Some versions of this game give you 3 pieces that must all be used becore you get any new ones, but this game introduces new pieces one at a time, which is way more flexible and makes the game last longer. Clear and simple graphics and animation, I prefer classic mode, not keen on the 'bomb' option. I like the standard format, but some people might want a timed mode against a clock? On the whole a pleasant way to while away spare minutes: just enough challenge without being frustrating

The game itself is fine. My problem is the inability to turn off the sound from the adverts, meaning I cannot play the game quietly without turning the phone's sound down/off, or plugging in headphones, or trying to find the advert's speaker icon (usually hard to spot) once the noise has already started. At the end of one recent game, for example I, and everyone around me, was treated to a woman screaming at very high volume. Not acceptable.

I received a notification that an update was required so I activated the update an that started a download of an unwanted app; Beware this isn't a trustworthy app. Forced video watching sometimes; skip button may NOT activate in some cases. Uses trickery to get downloads of other apps. Block location may sometimes jump when releasing finger pressure; there is no redo option. Random deletion of some blocks that should not occur. Link to another game download is presented as an update of this app.

Only way to lose is to get bored of the game giving the exact tile you need. Very predictable. Even if you don't use what it wants you to use, trying to create a challenge, it keeps force-feeding the same shape until you DO use it, and go figure, its exactly the one to wipe out a row or two. If you do try to create a challenge, its intuitive enough to know what combinations you are trying to create, and either you accept the easier and more obviious one it forces u to take, or u will lose.

I use the game for relaxation... It's not complicated. It's self explanatory. (I am so glad it does have the rotation block command --that makes a game extremely long just to accumulate the rotations) Short term use it is gratifying and for scoring on the long term use, it challenges me to see if I can foresee my next move and calculate which block is coming next!!!

High Score Only. It's not timed and there's no fireworks or levels or mini incentives. Play to beat your own high score, that's it. Once you understand the strategy it's easy to get 70k+ points. It's relaxing before bed and if you stop, game picks up where you left off. Ads are minimal and only between loading new boards. Developer: Wld love undo option and/or bonuses like rotate one piece per 10k points or something. Still a good time muncher.

The click buttons are unresponsive when being tapped. Takes a lot of effort to get some of the pieces to acknowledge the finger pressure/tap so they become in focus and can be my moved. Running a brand new Motorola phone with no night mode disabled. Should work, but there are challenges. Also don't understand all the ads for competing wood puzzles (from different companies). Not smart.

This is the best wood block puzzle. It challenges your brain to think strategically & patiently.to get the highest scores. Kudos to the developer. It is a relaxing game & I'm greatful for the stress relief it provides. However, It also is very addictive, so I've found I need to reward myself with a game AFTER I have finished all my daily tasks, or set a timer (usually 20 or so minutes) to limit this entertainment to a reasonable time frame, otherwise i wouldn't get much else accomplished!

Fun game and easy game to play. Makes you think and use strategy. The ads are not bad or too many. It's one of the best block games out there and they are not trying to make you pay up to move forward. You can play the Bomb version instead of the Classic if you want one more challenging and it makes you move quicker because of the time limit. It's a great brain food game and is fun. I recommend it.

Place (as oriented, no rotating) blocks to clear lines vertically or horizontally. Much smaller installation footprint than others, minimal permissions, and good reviews with larger user base (5M+) and longer history than copycats. Unobtrusive, closeable ads. I like that it replaces pieces individually instead of making you place all 3 at a time, which means each turn can potentially save the game from ending even when you have 2 unusable pieces left.

VERY well-designed, lovely graphics, works very smoothly. It's also waaaay to easy to get going & not come up for air during a "quick break". And doesn't seem be over-run with ads so far, either! ° It does seem like as I fill more of the frame, ONLY larger blocks are offered, when large & small seemed evenly mixed at the beginning. ° I'd also love to see a version that is like a daily challenge, with some blocks already in place randomly. I look forward to seeing more of your skills!👍

Good game. I really prefer the daily challenges EXCEPT that you need to watch an ad to get the reward after completing a challenge. That wouldn't be bad EXCEPT that the majority of the time there is no way to "x" out of the ad and your stuck. I have to close the game, and then replay the challenge, sometimes 3 or 4 times to get the challenge complete, all because they can't manage their ads. Yes I wrote to them but they said it's a bug they're working on. Meanwhile I'm looking for a new game.
