Really interesting both visually and in gameplay. A lot of attention to detail was given to each, featuring some really cool mechanics and features that I don't think I've seen in a game yet. My only gripe is how the cost of boosting your adventurers to some of the higher grades gets ludicrously expensive toward the end of the game. Super cool game though, you should check it out

It's a decent game. I was drawn to it because I loved playing Wizardry 7 in the 90s. But this game doesn't have the same challenge, creativity, or immersiveness as the originals. I loved Wizardry 7 because there were SO many options for things like interactions, puzzles, and character refinement. I loved that you really had to think--and your decisions were both time-sensitive and critical. With Daphne, despite it taking up more megabytes than its predecessor, just seems so basic and linear.

It's not a bad game, but it's a huge difference between playing the original Wizardry games to this one. You can't create your characters, every other character but the main is gatcha. There's no real grinding in the form of random encounters, so grinding is a chore, and it's repetitive after awhile. I find myself doing dailies, and nothing else. If you're looking for a Wizardry game that plays like the original, this isn't it.

The story and gameplay are both GREAT. Just finished up what I believe was the prologue to the game, and it was a lot of fun. The gameplay isn't too hard to understand. However, that doesn't mean the fights aren't difficult. I LOVE that they are just the right amount of difficulty and strategy. It's not just the same mob with bigger hp every time. This game is tons of fun if you enjoy some classic gaming!

I am loving the game but it crashes way too much. It's almost unplayable. Plus there are times when it crashes right at the start of a battle then I have to reload the game just to be stuck in the battle screen and unable to do anything but watch the enemies just stand there idle. I've had to erase my progress twice to fix that issue. Please work on the stability so it's actually enjoyable. Great game just please fix stability bugs

This game had great voice acting for characters, good storyline, and pretty good graphics. Except most purchases in this game are at least seven dollars. The items I get in return for spending this amount are not worth it. Please lower the prices - more people will buy stuff. It's also hard to get new characters or good equipment. Characters who were useful in the front row are suddenly useless when fighting from the back row for some unexplained reason? Otherwise, I love this game!

It's been over a year since I last played and when I reinstalled my save data wasn't on. i was convinced i lost it all, but thanks to the amazing work from customer support, they helped restore my data and I can't thank them enough. Story and character building is pretty amazing and a very fun dungeon crawler. I've never seen a unique story form like this, and I don't wanna spoil anything, but it's very well made. Combat is pretty challenging but not impossible.

I enjoy this gameabunch. The story is interesting, the combat is intense, and the leveling, skill training, and crafting system is cool. I have a few gripes though. Why do shops not sell upgrade materials? How the hell has the kingdom made it this far without iron ore available? Also, type advantages are a big thing in the game, but why isn't there an item or research you can do in the compendium to discern enemy types? The compendium is basically useless. Overall good game but couldbebetter

Edit: 8/2/2025: Sad to say this but have the issue many others have now after the new update. Game crashes every time a fight starts. And yes, I did attempt all the suggested fixes. No good. Works fine on Steam but can't always get on there, so there are many times I miss dailies. I paid for the monthly extra gems too from dailies. Hoping for compensation for that since, y'know, it's something I paid for and can't get. Game was great up until being unplayable on phone.

I'm 49 years old. I have lost at least 6 of those years playing every dungeon crawler since the Commodore 64 and "A Bard's tale." Wizardry has been my favorite series since I discovered it. This game pushes every appropriate "Wizardry" button to bring me back to my childhood since Proving Grounds got the update! Yes, you can spend as much money here as you desire, and that is the only part that hurts, but you DON'T HAVE TO. This game is amazing, FTP! I fully recommend this!!!!

I've played this game over 100 hours over several months now, and while the core game is excellent there are so many downsides. The paid currency/store is horrific, one of the worst I have ever seen after playing mobile for 10 years now. Completing daily tasks gets you 1/10th of a pull from a new character. For gameplay, the mechanics of many things are confusing and slow revealed to you, requiring you to figure it out online from others. Frustrating at times due to this.

The epitome of dungeon crawling. The only "issues" is the lack of marketing but other than that this game is so enjoyable and has the classicly satisfying gameplay loop. Voice acting, monster designs, and combat are high quality as well. dailies are quick and easy to do, and if you want to do more, you can do that as well. I cannot recommend this enough to any RPG fan. it's dark fantasy and a tad bit anime but not busty waifu anime, something akin to Berserk but a grade softer.

Is there a way to recover game data? The app would only black screen and I couldn't get into the actual game. Over the course of several days I would try to open it and never got past the black screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Game launches fine now, but lost all my data. I love the game. It's challenging, fun, great aesthetics and have already sunk plenty of hours into it. Hoping I don't have to start over.

If you have any interest in dungeon crawlers, then this game is phenomenal. You can absolutely progress through the story without the strongest new characters, and I've found it to be a great time. Unfortunately, it's had game breaking bugs for about 3 weeks as of me typing this, and I haven't been able to meaningfully play the game on my phone for the entire time. We haven't even been given much information regarding these issues.

The battle camera is VERY glitchy, especially when it zips around too fast and/or there are a lot of enemies on the field. This causes CONSTANT freezes and just makes the whole experience entirely unplayable. The game also freezes a lot in the middle of reversals and when opening a chest--which also makes you lose out completely on the loot inside. I may come back if they can fix the bugs, but I wouldn't waste any time trying to play on mobile until then.

Excellent. Between android and steam ive got dozens of hours. Never needed to spend money (although I have to because I felt like the game earned it) Yeah its a grind, but thats Wizadry. The combat is solid. Story is fine. Exploring is fun. Daily stuff is super quick to do. Great vertical 1 hand game Its an excellent game aside from rough UI, poor explanations of mechanics (you'll need to do a lot of wiki diving) and the cash shop is brutal in price and gacha rates. Top Tier phone game

Fantastic RPG, with beautiful graphics/animation that runs smoothly on my S-21 Ultra phone. Although relatively straightforward, I prefer this to getting lost in the dungeon. My biggest complaint is the lack of variety in gear. I've had the best gear for each character since level 8 and the shopkeeper rarely refreshes his wares. I would love to be able to buy better healing potions from the shop, and mana potions are not even in the shop. Inventory space is pretty stingy too.

Fun game but on my Pixel 8 pro the graphics will often glitch during battles. On certain character actions the screen will begin flashing, image tearing and reversing, and then not responding to screen touches. This happens very often, causing me to close and restart the game. Rebooting the phone does not help. Sometimes you can play 30 minutes without it happening and sometimes it happens a dozen times in 10 minutes. On Steam it never happens but on Android it is sometimes unplayable.

This game looks great and dungeons have really fun gameplay but everything else is accessed through menue screens. It's also always online but never able to connect. I'd like to give at least 4 stars but the typical mobile bs drags it down even more. The English voice acting is sub par & only the main dialogue has subtitles. When characters are speaking with each other or being resurrected(which is half the game)there's no subs so I usually have no idea what they're taking about.

Great mobile RPG with harsh gacha mechanics. Currency gain is way too slow, there is a lack of a pity system (though there is a spark system at high investment with no carryover), and the time commitment just to unlock events is ridiculous. I've been playing heavily for over a week and still can't access the events yet! Fix these issues and be more accessible to new players and this rating will definitely be higher.
