Thought it was a great app till im watching the tree bending and app says 7 mph. Tornado north of us and winds really bad here in Lavigne.

I was happy to find an app for the website I often use for determining if the wind is good for scuba diving. Unfortunately, you are missing one of the most important feature your website has, clicking on a precise spot on the map to find wind speed and direction. I can't believe you can do that on the website but not the app. I guess I'll just keep using the website instead. It would also be cool if you could save a precise point on the map. Edit: picker feature shown in video is not working.

Great and reliable app! One tip: the quality/usability of the webcams could be better displayed. Now I have to check all webcams to only conclude they're all worthless π

Doesn't give current location tide info. Only specific locations. There is a great deal of distance between location on oregan coast.

used the free version a long time. trying to limit the info they pass on to 250 vendors and 140 ad partners is quite a hassle, you'd have to deactivate each one and when saved it won't remember next time. edit: thanks for the response/explanation

As a weather app it is OK but it does not have much info about the weather like among the others, it only offers few weather layers, lack of widget(it only had 3), superforecast is not available to my region (even if I used the free trial). If you are looking for a fully fledge weather app look somewhere else.

I have the free app. A really great aid to my sailing. And tells me when not to play outdoor pickleball! I don't cruise any more, or I'd upgrade.

Forcast is always unpredictable. Have seem in last 2 weeks 3 boats sink due to a completely inaccurate forcast. Today's forcast was 2.5 to 3.5 4 sec. Currently it's 7ft at 4sec. This is just one of the last 16 days the forcast has been off.

Used to provide very accurate , within 15 minute, reports with charts showing wind and gust speed/direction for every location. Now shows ridiculously inacurate forecasts, which are useless. Went to 1 star (barely) from a solid 5 star, very important app. Doesn't look like the up sell version is any better.

Not accurate forecasts. The current wind seems to be always off. Right now it is dead calm and the app says N 10 with gusts to 22. π€·π»ββοΈ

It used to be great, but the latest upgrade makes it impossible for me to even find the wind conditions where I am. This is horrible. I'm only interested in finding out wind conditions where I actually am, and this app cannot seem to figure this out !!! do not buy this app.

I have used this app for years and years and used to love it but now whenever I open the app it says no internet access even though I have a very very strong WiFi connection πI have uninstalled and reinstalled it three times already but to no avail It has been like this for more than a week Very disappointed indeed

Wow they made it even worse. Now, when zooming in on the map while the reticle is selected, names of towns no longer appear. If it aint broke dont fix it? ... Was great free app. Latest update they SOLD OUT! I had to opt out of 56 tracking cookies for various global corporations!!!

It gives you the quick simple info I need to get out on the water, I prefer high detail which this lacks but very it is very convient and the wind map is a GREAT touch. Wish it had river conditions. Hope this app lasts.

The wind predictions have always been very accurate. However, they recently ruined the interface. This app was easy to use until the last week or so. Then they updated it to be more flashy. Please roll back these changes to the simpler interface!

The best I've made my living on the water for the last 40 years and I have too say this app is by far the most accurate and will save lives. I tried the upgrade and its even better. I worked for the Cape may/Lewes ferry running captain for 20 years and remember meeting the guys asking about location for weather station. It's another tool in your toolbox for forecasts and accuracy. Thank you.

This used to be better. With updates it's asking me to join premium, and I was already a premium member. Also, they changed the layout so you don't have days of the week at the top with simple bar graphs for windspeed. Also, as far as I can tell, it doesn't have a precipitation option for map mode...kinda useless. Here's my review of the old design We live in CO, and the wind is always a factor, A+++ to help plan bike rides, or anticipate conditions π

Its my second year with windfinder. 99% of the time its on target. The app Developers are doing a great job. I'm buying into it again this year. This app also works great for scuba divers, it gives us wave heights, wave intervals, per second. Plus Windforce, and Direction. Has 4 hidden pages that allow you to tweak the program even better. But I have one question, how do I change the program's time, from Standard Time, to military time?

Great app!! Love the alerts but wish you could control how often you get them. (Once you see the alert and remove it, if the condition persists, then you could control when the alert pops up again, once an hour, once every 2 hrs, etc.) I love the ability to see multiple weather conditions, not just the wind! Seems to be pretty accurate. Wish it updated more often, 6 hrs is a long time.
