This is the best ever app for mountain climbing. It has all necessary features included. I do really liked the new features 3d view that they've added.

Great app! I love that it alerted me when I was vering off the trail. it also let me know points of interest along the way. I really like that it keeps a record of my adventures.

use at your own risk. The trails are not vetted and I found myself in dangerous situations more than once. I'm deleting it. Just as a note, you can rank a trail after you tried to do it. That is, AFTER you have been in a dangerous situation.

Not allowing me to unsubscribe from premium. The app 'manage subscription' button sends you to a webpage that tells you to go into app and press 'manage subscription' button. This is a loop that goes round and round. Cannot recommend for this alone

Good app, but I never, ever subscribe to apps where the premium version fee is automatically set to 'recurring' by default. It's so unecessary and too often, the promises that 'you are in control' and 'you can easily cancel anytime' is not met by reality. Just do the right thing; default premium accounts to 'not recurring' and I'd happily pay to upgrade.

Bought the app to be able to use it for canoe planning. It turns out you cant? You can only use existing canoe trails, record them as you go, but you cannot plan a canoe trip using waypoints (ie wind shelters, bivouac places at the waterline). The only activity type you can choose in the route planner are "hiking", "mountain bike" and "road bike"..... Am I doing something wrong?

I don't get it. What's the point of an mtb trail app, if the only trails and routes you can find are ones that happened to have been "recorded" by someone. There are literally thousands of trails in the SF Bay Area, but finding a route is impossible unless someone else has happened to record a cool route. So what you get is countless Joe Schmo's submitting things with their name on the trail, no other identifying info and known places like China Camp not even showing up in the search.

Amazing app. It keeps you in the trail even without signal on the phone. The best feature for me that don't have a vast knowledge of paths, is the suggestions for places nearby. Due to the filters you can find something to fit groups with different capabilities (e.g. children...).

Useless and pricy. Since the price made an increasement of x2 has no sense to be premium, and therefore, explore other products. Moreover, countries such as Norway doesn't have a lot of trucks and images so I suggest to look for other apps like Strava. Very dissapointed with the exagerated prices increasement...

Great way to find trails in unfamiliar areas. Great information on trails we complete - distance, height gain/loss, altitude, average speed. When following another person's trail, wikiloc buzzes when we go off track.... really good to keep on track. We also used it to retrace our track or find where we left our car :-).

Very nice places, but the user interface is terrible. If you start to "navigate a trail" or start recording a trail, it's impossible to exit. You must close the app, and when you start it again all filters are lost. Also, a few days ago I could download a trail (GPX) to my phone for use in another app, but now I can't find that option anymore. Need to save to Google drive first, then saving the phone, then import.

So much is wrong with this app. Implement a basic search function for special items. So for instance, I wanna see fountains around me, but I can't just look up "fountains" like I would in google maps, which is insane because wikiloc is basically a google maps reskin. Very cranky, weird bugs like routes not appearing when going from lost to map mode. Also, please do some housekeeping and get rid of the routes that users flag, many are impossible. Hope they fix it cause the base concept is great.

Next to useless. I was expecting actual trail info and searchable maps, but it's just recordings of random people's rides with no actual legit trail info. If someone hasn't recorded a ride on a particular trail it doesn't show up on their maps. Also, if someone rides from their house or wherever in the city to somewhere, did a loop of a few trails and back, it shows the whole thing as a "trail". No specific maps or access info, and constant pop ups prompting upgrading to the paid version.

Even though I had canceled my premium before the free trial ended and I had received an email about my subscription being canceled, they still charged me for the annual subscription for some reason. I've emailed the customer service for a refund, but I'm not too hopeful. Application itself is good, I rated my experience not the app itself.

The app tells me that it has about 35 million trails but only shows a handful of them in the US. So I looked worldwide, zooming in here and there. I looked at the list feature... currently in California, the app shows me trails in New York. I gave up on the app and I looked at the site. Itdid marginally better, though many trails seem to be located in the middle of the ocean. ... eventually I found trails near me via the site, but when I asked for more information the site went back to NY! Nah

I like it a lot. Save your battery by lowering your screen brightness. In settings "uncheck"..(keep screen on while recording).Turn screen off. Only turn it on to view as needed. You don't have to save every trail. Turn recording off (end) go to profile then settings. Then detete trail. It wipes it out. Sign out every time you are done.

Once great, now ... meh. A couple of years ago, it was easy to find trails and just get started hiking. I contributed quite a few myself. I took a break from using the app and now I discovered that I have to pay to get gps tracking on trails. I guess Wikiloc had to choose some kind of revenue model. I just wish it wasn't one that drew me the app in the first place.

I have used many mapping programs for many years. The value of this app is the sharing of trips. But I find the app's user interface, both on a phone and the web version on a PC, to be cumbersome at best. I use this app to find a hike, then I export the GPX file that describes that hike to another app that is much better for navigation. Also, when in navigation mode, this app rapidly drains the phone's battery.

Took me a long time to figure out how to upgrade to Premium, but it turned out to be a problem with Google Play, not with the app itself. There are many trails here and I was able to piece together the Camino Augusta, which runs from Gibraltar to Seville. Would be nice if it was easier to connect short hikes into longer ones, but this works. The user interface isn't great. I'll probably have to export the GPX files to something else in order to actually navigate a trail

Amazing app! It helps a ton to check cool trails and also, record for others to follow yours! However, lately it's been calculating vertical gain and loss very inaccurately. Perhaps support could chime in here. My latest trail says I had 3.3 km in vertical gain. This is impossible obviously. So I'm sure it's got some bug in there that needs to be fixed. Also, seems there is an issue with reporting your trail buddies and like others, it eats my battery like crazy in spite of having closed apps.
