The user experience is fairly straightforward. Partially because of its lack of features (for sellers). I've run in to a few glitches, none more frustrating than the missing photos once an items receives a bid, guaranteeing a sale. Each time an item sells the app is supposed to record a screen shot of the item being sold, so that when you're sorting items to be shipped a photo should be attached to the item #. Not having that feature makes selling insanely difficult. Otherwise, it's a cool app

Fun, but needs work. First off, I will say that I've found some amazing people on Whatnot selling great products. My issue is the app itself still seems to have a lot of bugs. Everytime I open the app, it asks me to rate my experience with a transaction and then loads to an empty screen--I don't have any transactions to rate as I've already provided feedback. There also seems to be an issue with rendering the video so you do experience choppy video as well as a lot of lag that affects bidding.

Impossible to sell with new update. It keeps crashing after every listing. They added a bunch of non-user friendly ways to add a listing. You used to be able to upload 9 pictures, 6 for all sides of the item and 3 for damages, but now it's only 8 and there's no requirements of what each picture is. There is no selection for the condition of the item, you have to type it every time under the description. Now you have to pick what kind of item it is/how much it weighs. It was a lot easier before.

Worked great when I first downloaded the app, but after the last update, it has been constantly freezing, lagging, and basically being unusable. I've missed out on items because of the app lagging or freezing mid-bid. I've read other reviews stating that this seems to be an issue with Android phones. Please fix this, because I have no plans to go to an iPhone! Update 9/16/23: Another update four days ago and back to the same BS again! Black screen or constantly freezing screen!

The app itself is okay. The user interface often overlaps and ends up blocking parts of itself. As a platform, it is really clunky. Not a great place to buy or sell. I find that sellers are constantly cancelling and moving their auctions. Saved/bookmarked shows are hard to find unless you're also following the seller. It seems to be a frustrating place to actually buy anything.

The team has been improving the functionality over time, which is nice. However, the lack of continuity between iPhone and Android users is frustrating to say the least (please let Android clip, thanks). Additionally, one specific feature (swipe up or down to switch between streams) is cumbersome and detracts from the buyer's and seller's overall experience. That feature should absolutely be removed, it is a constant source of complaints.

Who decided this recent update was needed? I jumped on for the first time in over a year and saw that I could actually check back to the EXACT moment in the stream that I purchased something which was awesome for being able to see what I ended up bidding on or reliving awesome moments from the stream. Something changed in the last week and now when looking at a purchase in the app, I'm bombarded with a whole lot of useless information and absolutely NO OPTION to go back to the stream whatsoever!

It's my first purchase, and it's already troubling. I purchased something less than 3 months ago, and the seller took two weeks to ship. On other apps, the company hurries the seller to ship the item. This app does not and will be patient with the seller, even if they're scammers, by chance. When they did finally ship, it turns out something went wrong on their end or USPS because the tracking ID is untraceable. I purchased on 2/27/24 and it's now 4/8/24 and I still haven't gotten my item.

Giving 3 stars right now because I have tried many times to list something in the marketplace and it let's me add photos and description but as soon as I hit complete to move onto the next part it completely shuts me out of the app. It's royally starting to erk me! I've Uninstalled and re downloaded it multiple times and it still doesn't work. This app needs to be more user friendly for android!

This app is an agonizing waste of time. There are far too many technical issues and anyone with faster internet has a huge advantage over everyone else. You can typically find better prices elsewhere and as for entertainment value? There is nothing entertaining about watching spoiled brats show off how much they have. Also, I only got $10 credit when I signed up while everyone else got $15. I guess it's some sort of achievement to be worse than ebay because that's pretty difficult.

Worked fine for a few orders then it started declining my payments. The funds are available but won't take it. Instead of sending one invoice after the show is over they take multiple small payments which I believe that it flags as suspicious to your financial institution. The payment system is garbage. Probably not going to use anymore.

I downloaded this app a few months ago, worked great until I got logged out on both my phone and tablet. Tried to get back in and nothing, contacted app support and just get the run around, it's been almost 2 weeks and still can't get help from app support. I have asked for my account to be deleted and to start a new one and just get told to reset my password or they email me my email address and user name. When I try to reset password I never get any email to do so. Not a good app to use.

I have been a long timer on this app (3+ years). I have been extremely dissatisfied with the lack of support from the Whatnot team. I have been recently having issues with scanning products on the app since the update of early February. I contacted their team and was told they do not plan on fixing it as only a small group of sellers use it. This is really disappointing to hear as I know it has been a really helpful feature that cuts down search results and takes you specifically to the product.

This app is very user unfriendly. It is especially challenging if you use android products. What is most frustrating, being unable to speak with anybody directly, customer support has been completely unresponsive. They then becomes very defensive if you become frustrated by their lack of support. It has been an unpleasant experience with very little, and usually unhelpful, support.

Love this app to buy and find lots of resellers means lots of items to try and win! Just today things changed where you cannot go back and rewatch the livestream! I am not sure why this feature is gone now. This is the only reason I give it a 4 it would be a 4. Customer service is excellent with helping me with every order that I have had so far that I need assistance with. In the meantime hopefully this gets fixed, if not just make sure we screenshots of items won.

Update 3/28/24: still can't get it right. Shipping has improved, but you cannot count on steady operating. Volume problems, bid button disappears, freezing screen. AWFUL! Annoying and not fair to sellers or buyers. Updated to add: not android friendly. There is no way to pre-bid. Can't leave reviews either. It's not user friendly for buyers. Can't find sellers you like; there's no search option. Shipping is an unknown amount so you never know what you're getting charged. Disappointing.

Forget about your shipping on this platform. It is a hit or miss with sellers, and half your stuff will get lost. If you are an android user, be prepared to not be able to do anything on the app as far as sales. The screen is half cut off. You can't possibly even list properly because buttons are cut off. Might have cool features like video receipts, but bad outweighs the good.

When purchasing coins you better know what your doing as sellers sometime exaggerate the value of coins, but other than that it's a great concept, exciting shows, top quality coins, fun games, live chat and auctions, lots of very nice people shopping that you can chat with in the show's, friendly hosts and many are very knowledgeable and willing to give advice with no commitment to purchase something and the support is excellent and always responds to offer assistance and it's easy to access.

App crashes quite often. Scrolling can be inconsistent. Shipping is expensive; especially if you buy from multiple vendors while cruising through the app. Selling has drawbacks; battery drain while streaming, without a printer and computer, you can't really ship out products... Issues aside, it's an amazing place to shop and hang out. A majority of the time, it can feel like a real community.

Lots of issues!!! Locking up, freezing. Cutting off. The past 3 weeks have been terrible! I have gone in and out and it does not help. Have uninstalled and re- installed, but does not help. Missing lots of shows and missing out on bids as they do not show for me many times and the only way I find out something ran is when someone else wins bid!!! What is going on??
