***Update*** The developer reached out and pushed a rapid fix that solved my issues. Battery drain bug is gone, and the app works beautifully again! Love all the features of this client, especially the auto tunnel when off dedicated ssid's. . . ***Old*** 1 star since the last update. My s24 battery only lasts two hours from 100% charge. Even with screen off. Status shows this app drained it each time. Worked perfectly up until the last update of the app. Disable and battery back to normal.

YES! Finally an app that gives me all the configuration options the original WG app didn't. It works perfect and looks amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Really cool WireGuard client, especially because of the Auto Connect when on untrusted networks feature. My experience with this app has been wonderful till today, when I changed some things in my setup and I needed to add a new instance in the app. Everything went good, scanned the qr, added the new instance, but when I tried to remove the old one I noticed that the remove button didn't actually work.

very flakey performance recently. constant spam error of dns resolution bug. restart of phone or app fixes it so it's not anything physically wrong.

Reading the description, I thought that this was what I was looking for. Update2: Starting of the VPN on excluded Wifi network for a couple of seconds is still a problem, no wildcharts are used. I installed it on another phone, with the same config the VPN is OK, Problem is with a Poco F6 Pro, works ok with MI12lite, both up to date hyperOS. With tasker VPN switching works fine. It appears to me that Tasker is less responsive, maybe a timing issue.

I've recently implemented a WG server at home and was majorly disappointed how android devices are lacking the auto-join capability, because it is a "3rd party" VPN. This application was exactly what I'm looking for, works like a bloody charm. I love it so much! The excessive list of permissions it requires might look alarming, but it is all justified.

fantastic app. but it has some incompatible issues with oneui 7.0 on my Samsung s23 ultra. the switch is toggled on but it doesn't work and it can not be turned off on the ui

Great app. I am curious though, why did you include the button in the UI to check for update if it's not supported? I tap and a toast message comes up saying "Update check not supported this build type."

Wow it supports unmetered vpn. Unfortunately, I frequently encounters hanged tcp connections with this app so I don't consider it really usable. Update: 1.1.1.1 app doesn't have this issue (same endpoint: CloudFlare warp). The symptom is just that encountering hung connections from time to time. (The official WireGuard app does not have this issue.) Loses connectivity on wifi too

LOVE IT! EXACTLY what I was looking for! The auto connect on untrusted wifi or mobile network is invaluable. I will learn about Amnesia settings and speed comparison. TESTED and works as expected. As info., IOS has the wifi auto connect option with Wireguard VPN without third party app.

2025-04-29 -- Something strange/bad has happened with the 3.9.0 upgrade. Pixel 6. Not sure if it's just me, but the details of the connected VPN doesn't show anymore. It shows connected status, just not the details like handshake and data. More importantly, the untrusted wifi option seems to be absent and in fact the reverse seems to be the default now where it only connects on wifi networks I've defined. I hope this is just a mistake? Anyone else experiencing this after the last upgrade?

Does exactly what it purports. I was struggling with a Tasker task to toggle my VPN on untrusted networks and this app saved me quite a bit of trouble. WG Tunnel works perfectly with no battery drain (even left unrestricted). I really like the easy-to-use UI/UX, while still retaining enough granularity satisfy my needs. And the dev is very quick to respond! Thanks, Zane! <3 <3 <3

This app is phenomenal. I've got home my router set up as a wireguard server, and I was using the traditional wire guard client combined with the automate tool in order to automatically open the wireguard tunnel whenever I left my home Wi-Fi network. But that setup was pretty buggy, and never worked quite right. I figured there must be a better solution, started digging around, and found this app, which ended up being exactly what I had in mind. Kudos!

I love the app. Works well on wifi but when I'm on mobile data, it says it's connected but I don't have any Internet while it's on. I don't think it's the app. I think it has something to do with my router setup but I'm not sure. Edit 2.0: Couldn't connect on mobile but could connect on wifi. Figured out that the APN on my device was set to IPv6 and I needed it set to IPv4. I cloned the APN and changed that setting. Hope that helps someone else.

Amazing WireGuard app. I love how simple and flexible it is. I did notice that with the latest update, I no longer see any handshake details when the tunnel is connected like before. I looked in the settings and didn't see anything about the handshake info being hidden. -- update: Thank you, Zazh! Your app is seriously the best WireGuard app available.

recent UI update made the app less clear and harder to use, especially in terms of auto tunneling. Now you have to go out of your way to figure out that you have to activate it whereas a few versions ago it was very clear and simple to use. a clear degrade in the user experience that the dev clearly doesn't care about. a shame, but still the best app you're going to get for Wireguard on android.
