WFCU's mobile banking app allows members of WFCU and its divisions to access their money easily and securely while on the go.
• Pay bills and transfer funds between accounts
• Send, receive and request funds with Interac e-Transfer
• Deposit cheques into your account anytime, anywhere
• Review account balances

When you install the app, it will ask for permission to access the following functions of your device:
• Location services – allows the app to use your device’s GPS to find the nearest branch or ATM
• Camera – allows the app to use device camera to take pictures of cheques
• Contacts – allows you to create new Interac e-Transfer recipients by selecting from your device contacts

App works when it want too...at first worked great fast easy ....however now when I try to log on to the app it buffers and sometimes will load and sometimes it doesn't. So then I just go to online banking. .....to be honest idk if it's the app or my phone company....either way makes me crazy

Forced to move over from the ECU app, which was poorly communicated - the old ECU app simply stopped working with no explanation. This one still has the buggy cheque deposit where the screen is improperly rotated, which was long since fixed in the ECU app. Not impressed.

I haven't been able to deposit cheques using my Samsung S10 for AT LEAST 6 full months, as the camera button overlies the home button. "they're aware of the issue and are working on it"...since February. Fingerprint login, like other finance apps, would also be a useful addition.

It constantly tells me I haven't set up security questions when I have. I selected the view to see what my accounts are when I open the app and that's not working no matter how many times I go in and re do the selections to activate it.

Really slow app, it has to load everytime you click something which is very annoying. It's also just a pain in the ass using any feature it has ! Especially paying bills. I switched from cibc and they had an amazing layout , super easy friendly I guess I'm just used to that.

Never had a problem, for years, with this ap. The last months, nothing but issues. I continually get the error message "no internet connection available at this time", even when sitting in my house. What a lesson in frustration.

If you have a problem after hours or on the weekend you have to wait till Monday to talk to someone at your branch so what's the point of after hours? Since it's been taking over its been steady problems, I've been with credit union 40 years and I'm definitely moving to TD or somewhere, it's no longer how westfort credit union service was.

Insanely outdated and slow. Riddled with inconsistencies and glitches. Bone of the updates over the last 2 years have resolved a single glitch I've personally been monitoring. Glitches 3 other wfcu customers I am friends with are also experiencing on a regular basis. Start over. This app peaked in 2005, and the design resembles mobile banking of that time.

Now, this app needs my contacts? Really??? I am so sick and tired of the upgrades to this app! The app that is supposed to be a convenience to its members is just another tool for the WFCU data thieves to use for their own self-centered, selfish purpose and not for the benefit of the members! What ding dong thought this was appropriate to snoop around in its members phones???? Always a problem opening to log in. The app is slow. Recently uninstalled to reinstall to get the app working.

The app is generally decent to use. However, upgrading to Samsung s10s has caused issues with direct depositing. Me and my wife can no longer use this function because the camera button is in the same place as the home button on the screen. There is no way to edit the positioning in the app and I have not found a solution on the phone's end either. Until it can be fixed, there is little more functionality to the app other than a balance checker...

I've owned 2 different phones now & on both this app is very buggy. Login button doesn't work, I have to go to Settings then use the login button in the sidebar. The app hangs randomly. Main menu buttons sometimes don't work. And this has happened on 2 different phones. I'm a programmer myself & am pretty confident this isn't user error.

I would give it -10 stars if I could. Its slow- I often run into problems with etransfer/accepting and recieving. I HATE that they made it so I have to enter a 10 didget code that isnt even the same as my PAC... it really ends up confusing me. I must have locked my account about 4 or 5 times by now. Also the number that they give to call usually isnt helpful either.

I uninstalled because i couldn't deposit a cheque. Now i can't even log back into the app. It's telling me i haven't set up my personal security questions but i definitely have, they've been set up for 6 years. Doing anything more than checking account balances is INFURIATING, and sometimes just checking account balance is infuriating too.

Very outdated and primitive compared to other banks. The bank deciding to force everyone to update their passwords and only way to do it was to call in last year was a nice touch. Pure stupidity! Just so you can sit on the phone and wait for the one person they assigned to helped 100s of customers. Almost had late payments. Luckily I've switched over to another bank at this point and enjoying the updated app and better service they provide.

Everytime i recieve a etransfer whether via text or email, when i click on the link the app will not open automatically. It asks me to be sure i have the most up to date version of the app, which i do but I still manually open the app and i have to do it a couple times before the etransfer is found so i can accept it. It would also be more convenient if the decimal point was on the main number pad instead of toggling back and forth.

consistent bugs in cheque scanning, does not play well with password managers as input fields are not named password manager friendly, and no multifactor authentication on a banking app should be criminal negligence in this day and age.

Worst financial banking app I have ever used. It frequently runs really slow and glitchy, not a good layout. It's not user-friendly, and there's no biometric sign in which is weird.

This app covers the basic requirements for a banking app, but the layout and the way in which items are named has been extremely confusing to figure out! I was with Simplii financial before, and their app had everything clearly laid out for your convenience, especially in the bill payments section! All bills are listed as options to pay off, which you select and then choose which account to pay it with; and once you have paid something off, it shows the paid date next to that item!

I do like the bank but easily the worst app I've ever used for financial services. its glitchy, no biometric sign in.. interface is awkward and not friendly, can't easily view your e-transfer sent history, password text box is finicky (and calling it a PAC is uncommon and silly), having to set up an EMT password for each transfer to then have it cancelled/unnecessary when they have auto deposit (should identify that after the address is entered). I don't like seeing ads I do like blue colours.
