If the app were not the buggiest application I've ever used on a smart phone, then I would most likely give a 5 star rating. The interface is easy to follow and attractive, but when I have to restart the app multiple times to complete a transaction (because it randomly gives me the "wheel of death", continuously loading without going to the next screen), then it's a real hassle.

App: Unable to reopen app when switching back to app. In order to open it you have to open it from the shortcut on the home screen or the app drawer. Other than this the app is great. I think the notices before sending money was an excellent idea. Service: Great service. Highest currency exchange rate I seen for the currency I'm exchanging. Good customer service.

Newest version won't let me login with my fingerprint without enabling permission, such as access to my contacts, photos, videos, location, etc. Not gonna happen. Update the app and I'll change the rating. Also, few months back I sent money internationally. It was supposed to take up to 5 days, which is fine with me. It was a direct bank transfer. It took something like 3 weeks. Unacceptable! Especially when you have people depending on it.

Says you can wire from checking account but won't let you do it to an inmate. Also said first transaction fee but still charged $9 and some change. Also can't change expedited I don't know how much more it cost for this. $9.98 on $300 is just plain crazy when a check account wire is no charge. I will never get the time back screwing with this. I'm going to find a better way than WU.

The worst experience I had with transferring the money out of the country. My transfer was put on hold, spoke with someone to verify everything, and they said everything was OK and then certainly received an email that my transfer got canceled. Called customer service and they said they couldn't access the reason for the cancellation. What is the point of calling previously to confirm everything and canceling after, this is ridiculous.

Makes transferring money IN MINUTES to any of my friends Nationwide!! It's been such a great connection to keep with all of them as we all do what we can to help one another. It's been a trusted and easy way to get the money to its intended receiver every time. I'd recommend it and do whenever I come across the many people that no longer trust the newer money transferring apps out there. JS.

Confusing sending to another country. It asks for receiver's address including "state." It should say "state or country." Also it seemed strange to have to include receiver's personal address when i was sending to a bank account. (I suggest adding info bubbles to get specific guidance and answers.) It was nice that banks are listed, that the country's phone area code is entered, and that payment is easy. Also make it more clear how to send money to a company rather than an individual.

The app works BETTER and faster than the website! The only complaint I have is that it is very very annoying that unless you pay close attention, you will have your credit card information SAVED automatically! Then in much smaller print it says not now!!! This is sneaky and poor practice! I suggest you simply put a check box where you can choose to save or NOT SAVE your information! This is more honest,upfront, convenient, versus the current way your app operates!

For the love of God, please get rid of the advertisement bar that appears on the bottom of the screen. Every time I close the app and restart it, it always shows up. I'm trying to take a screenshot of a particular window and I cannot do that with the ad blocking the information I need to take a screenshot of. Please either get rid of the ad bar all together or or just allow it to disappear for at least a minute after clicking the X button on the ad bar.

Doesn't save cards on file you have repeatedly saved. Malfunctions frequently. Impossible to figure out to use points earned on transaction fee checkout. Points expire disappear. Not user friendly. Gave a 3 because sometimes you have no choice but this option to send. reward points redeemed Do Not get automatically applied exactly as it says on next transaction. It shows No Promo Code to use. Very deceitful. Why should you have to call in to get the promo code when it says auto. Nothing fixed!

Confusing still. Try to skip over pick up option for receiver. canceled me prior for no reason whatsoever. stuck with them for now. 3 is generous. Would use Remitly and get it done in a New York minute without being beat up with ads at the end, but receiver has no bank account. will look around when I get time.

Does not work. Gives "This application is not supported on rooted devices. Please contact carrier or vendor to restore an official Android release to your device." Used this app numerous times before, so what changed? Uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. Says it's compatible with my device but the same message comes up about this application is not supported on rooted devices. It's the same phone I've used for all previous transactions, so what did you do to lock me out? Please fix

For most of my experiences, using this application has been good. However, Western Union had a "My Union" point system that they stopped using over a year or more, which allowed you FREE cost to send money. They claimed to be updating this feature for at least 6 months, if not more. Yes, I appreciate the use, but continue the rewards program, too.

When you setup a price alert notification and then access the app to take advantage of the price alert. The send to rate is not the same as the notification alert. It is lower. There is no way to send app feedback as listed on the FAQ. I cant figure out how to setup reminders. I dont like it that you have enter the cvv each time you do a debit card transfer. International transfers are not instant. Can take more than 24hrs. I do like that bank to bank fees are lower.

The best way to send money. UPDATE. Had to bring it down from 5 stars. The last few times I've had a hard time inputting the amount, because it rejects my entry on either currency...probably a rounding error issue, so I keep entering different amounts until I hit the matching (round) amount that it can accept as valid. UPDATE2) I sent "money in minutes" and the review team is holding my money...I send thousands of dollars every year and NOW they decide to hold my money for who knows what!!!

After using several times it has gotten easier to navigate. Great for the convenience. Cost more,but you pay for Convenience! 1 and 1/2 years later still using the app. 4/22/2024 Update the app is not working. It will not let me send money to an inmate that I have sent to for 3 years. I have uninstalled 2 times no help. It keeps getting betterto the end then tells me to enter a state when it is already filled in . Then it says do you want to cancel this transaction?

the worst transfert app ever. the app itself is already slow and buggy to interact with. the moment u open the app 💥 ads,ads,ads,ads. the app design is unprofessional, which means that it's ugly. after disable the certain permissions, It's a nightmare every time I open the app, with this system notification pop-up trying to force me to allow unnecessary permissions, even though the app could've worked perfectly fine without those permissions [contact,camera,notification,ect]but refuse.

Ads appear right under the "Continue" button right before you click on it to finish a transaction, leading to accidental clicks on potentially malicious ads. This is dangerous for people who aren't tech savvy which is probably the point. Not sure why this app even has ads as they already charge for transactions. Would use something else if I could but this is the only service available for both sender And receiver.

Despite the high fees, the app contains annoying ads and popups. If you refuse to let it bother you with unnecessary notifications, there are frequent popups that that make it difficult to log in. Worse, it will corrupt the name of the sender randomly. This means that it will send to the wrong person, requiring that one cancel the transaction. This may tie one's money up for a week while they wait for a refund. Horrible app. There are many alternatives. Use them instead.

It does what it needs to do. I'm finally rating it so it'll stop popping up. There are annoying ads at the end of every transaction thus the low rating, plus the CONSTANT prompt to rate the app. It could be easier to use. I should be able to easily select a past contact but I can't. And it is truly unhelpful there. Please fix this so you don't have to totally reenter someone's information you've sent to before, if you're sending a different amount.
