The interface is fine, but in three attempts I have yet to successfully order the items that I wanted. Encountered an unexplained error each time and had to alter the order at random to try and solve it. Also, it seems unnecessary that you must save the payment card - I for one would feel a lot safer putting it in each time.

Glitchy App... Placed a carry out order via app and when I tried to pay using G-Pay, the screen went gray and and never came back. I tried again and order placed successfully; however, when I arrived to pick up order, there were 2 separate orders. If you try to change quantities in the order, it takes 30-40 seconds to respond with change. Very glitchy application. I wanted 2 hamburgers and ended up spending over $22 and getting 4 because the app doubled my order.

Apparently there's an ongoing issue with the app, where the prices are always cheaper in the app, so when you order your food and pick it up, you have to pay extra when you arrive. Literally does not happen at any other restaurant I've been too, and this has been happening for months.. This is in addition to restaurants forgetting items from orders, apparently another app issue. Wendy's really needs to get it's act together. Literally do not have these kinds of problems in other apps.

Wendy's might have good food, but the app isn't as good as McDonald's. The app has a tendency to be plagued with issues like getting logged out for no reason, using offers is cumbersome. You have to enable it through the "Offers" tab then make sure that you're taken to the menu to enable the offer in the mobile order. It's much easier to do it in person and scan the QR code. The app also doesn't register your current location automatically. Overall, it's very clunky and needs improvement.

Wendys app is awesome when it actually wants to work. Everytime they do an update, it stops working for a day or two. When working though, it saves you a lot, and earn a good amount of points. But for the simple fact that I spent points towards something today, after the update, and the app would not let me put in mobile order, I have to give it low stars. If it worked perfectly fine when updated, easily a 5 star.

I love the basic functionality of the app (customize and place orders, check prices, a good rewards system, restaurant locator), but oh my gosh what a buggy mess. It frequently will stall out when I go to the checkout screen and refuse to accept my payment. Then I have to close the app, reopen the app, watch the icons zip across the screen for a minute, close the app again, re-open it, and then MAYBE it'll work. When it works it's great, but it doesn't work about 50% of the time.

App is always buggy. Pulled up to a drive-thru with an offer in mind only to have the app bug out with a spinning wheel and no points to redeem or offers. I uninstalled twice, cleared the cache, rebooted my phone, installed updates to my phone and checked to see if I was running the current app version - no luck. This happened on 2 separate occasions to where ai had to change my order due to cost and the lack of being able to cash in my rewards points. What was the current update for? 🤔

I got this app to use a T-Mobile coupon for free nuggets. After downloading the app and logging in (through Google), it would ask me if I wanted notifications, and then go back to the login page. Looped through the login a dozen times. I allowed notifications eventually bc I thought that was the problem - still wouldn't stay logged in. Couldn't order at all. Useless app, wasted 20 minutes of my time so I went somewhere else.

the Wendy's I placed an order with on the app and pre-paid for was out of baked potatoes, non spicy chicken nuggets, and my drink selection. Since they could not fill my order I asked for a refund. the manager told me I had to go through the app. There is absolutely no where on the app for me to request my money back. I am left in limbo on the "chat" option because it stays on "waiting for customer service" page. I've left it open for hours. Thanks Wendy's!!

This is the crappiest app I've ever used. I cannot enter my credit card info - it gives me a service error every single time. After looking around online, it seems like this is a common problem that has been around for YEARS. I tried to use the "live chat" to contact support. Sat on that for 20 minutes with no response. So I tried calling the support line, finally got through, then sat for ANOTHER 20 minutes waiting for a usable solution only to be unceremoniously hung up on. I'd leave 0 stars.

Even with updates, the bugginess of the Wendy's app is almost inexcusable from a million dollar company. Deals added to a cart will disappear if an error occurs or the app crashes. Sometimes you'll try to pay for an order, it'll fail but will give you the reward points anyways like you actually purchased it. This doesn't even mention trying to get a hold of a customer service representative to try to fix the issue. Can't use the call support or chat function because it's all busy.

It is always a 50/50 shot if the app will work at all when I go to open it. It's down more than it's up. Clearing the cache, the data, and reinstalling the whole app never works. I've done every fix I can find and it continually does this at least half the time that I go to open the app. The stores have no info because it's a third party app and Wendy's doesn't seem to care if it works or not.

This app has consistently changed the price of menu items after they are added to the cart. A medium frosty listed as 1.89 before being added to the cart changes to 2.59 after being added. This happens with almost every item that Wendy's lists, but they hope you don't notice at check out. I wouldn't recommend buying here

UGH! Can't view all menus. Breakfast and lunch/dinner menus are hidden depending on the time of day. Other fast food apps let you see all menus (e.g., breakfast, lunch, late night) any time of day to plan ahead. You can even place orders for food that will be available in those different times. The website lists menu items for the day, but it's very incomplete. Eg. It shows pictures of breakfast combos but fails to provide text of what is included. And of course, no prices are listed.

The app only works half of the time. All of my rewards points are missing and were not expired. I had tried to have missing points from an order add, but was unable to get it taken care of. My husband can't use his app at all. The app stopped working and lost his points. He has called 4 times to try to resolve the situation and gets disconnected or hung up on.

the app is terrible. everytime I tried to add the 'free' item, it cleared the price of my items in my cart and said that my total was not enough to qualify for the free item (chicken sandwich or the small frosty) and prompted me to buy more items, even though once I was able to remove free item, my amount was well past the minimum total pre-tax amount of $5.

I like the deals and points accrued via the app. However, the app should allow is to use the money added to account. For instance I have over $1 on account but can't use it unless I add more money. There should be an option to let us use the money on account without adding more. Feels like theft of my money. Change that and I'll add 2 more stars.

App is ok...but a little clunky. And there's several things that should be general options across the app. Like for example...you can order a drink "no ice"...only if it's being added as an individual item. If it's added as part of a combo...the option is non-existent. Also would be nice if it tracked your location (like McDonald's) so it auto-selects the closest store. Rather than just going with the most recent location.

Points are easy to get compared to most food apps, and I love that the rewards do not eat up your points unnecessarily. The reward/point ratio is fair. So, I have no complaints except one. I do carnivore. I can walk in and order 3 or 4 large patties with cheese and get my order. There is no way to do that on the app. I'm hoping this review could change the app on a future update, and I will edit this review to 5 stars.

Easy to use. great rewards. I like being able to pay with Google pay. However their changing of ordering location is difficult to navigate, you can't just press it on the map and click order here; You have to remember what the address is then go back down the list and click order here. Also points earned shouldn't expire, especially if you are active.
