The app crashes immediately when opened. It started doing so after the latest update. I have a Galaxy J7 Star; I do not know if this bug is specific to this model phone, but it would not be the first time an update to the app rendered it unusable on this model of phone. Last time, it took two weeks to be fixed. I hope this time the issue will be resolved sooner.

Very feature-weak, cannot add expenses directly and attach photo. Must add photo in the blind, and associate with transaction when it clears. Boo. App appears to have been designed by Finance to make Finance jobs easier, not easier for travelers. Cannot approve submitted expenses from my employees?? Why? Standard feature in Mobile app on your competitor for years. Boo. Call me for feedback.

it's functional but it could be greatly improved. there are far too many prompts! The receipt picture function vibrates as the picture is being taken so it blurs the image (i can't find a setting to stop that). Expense description, receipt photo, and account assignment should be able to be done in one pass but they cannot at this time. Im running it on a fast S9+ and the app is still jerky and slow. My coworkers say it's slow on their phones too. But it does get the job done.

Why do you require access to my contacts, microphone, and nearby devices for business card reconsciliation? Kick rocks. You do not need access to any of that for identity purposes or security. Access to someones microphone is the opposite of security - thats espionage. Your reply confirms that it is purely for data collection. Kick rocks!!!

Current version of the application seems very stable. (IOS version is as likely to crashes when uploading pictures instead of uploading it). The major issue I have with the android application is when taking pictures of receipts it vibrates as it takes the picture causing it to blur on my Note 10 + (IOS just beeps). Fix that and this application would work great.

Horrible app. Just like every other user says, 6 months ago worked great. Now scrolling up and down to upload receipts doesnt work well, lots of lag. Click on something, 2 seconds later it reacts. It takes me longer to upload receipts than to scan them in, copy them to my computer, and upload from there. Its frankly pathetic! Called customer service to report several times. They say it's my device, a Samsung Galaxy S8+. GTFO! It's your system, not mine. Take ownership of the fault & fix it!

I received email saying app will be updated 9/21/21 and instructed to delete app and re-download and install. I did that and nothing has changed. It took me an hour to get mobile token and passcode reestablished. Tech support spent a few minutes trying to find anything about an update to app and he could not find anything. They also have an issue with Biometrics setup, says can use FaceID, but only way to set up is to start with Fingerprint, which I can't do because of case. Thus I can't use any Biometrics. App is nice to be able to approve ACH.

This app is barely usable. The UX is not intuitive and requires too many "clicks", taking too much time. Often, I need to look through a list of changes that I have already uploaded receipts to, to find the one I am looking for. Additionally, the app is show to run on my flagship phone. This is a waste of valuable time that I only use as it is the most direct way to get receipts into my expense report.

Update (1-6-21) Still no fix for the vibration while taking a photo. App was updated 12-01-20. App now freezing. By far the worst part of the app is that it makes your phone vibrate while taking a picture of a receipt, causing the image to be blurry, which is a hilariously poor feature. Can just see the WF group telling the app developers, "make it vibrate when it takes the photo, it'll definitely give the user a better experience!" Lots to fix. Could easily add a setting to shut vibration off.

Functional, but so many profoundly bad app functions. For instance, once I have paired a transaction with the picture of the receipt, DON'T SHOW IT AGAIN IN THE LIST OF TRANSACTIONS. Please stop trying to OCR the picture, which is NEVER successful, or at least give me a "skip trying" button. Wells Fargo's developers should really host feedback sessions with users and then IMPLEMENT THEIR SUGGESTIONS. My two cents. Thank you.

Was going great, then came the update. After an update, the app wanted additional permissions. It wanted access to my microphone and to locate nearby devices. And if you turn either of those down, you cannot use the app. At all. The mic is not for the phone use, since that is its own permission. The app wants to listen to you and your environment. Given WF history of treating customers like cattle, I will not allow them to spy on me and my surroundings. This is a banking app, not spyware

This app used to work well, but over the past 6 months or so, it's horrible. The Biometric option used to work, one day it just stopped and it will not move past the screen to select it to set up when you try. Also uploading images used to work great, now it just freezes up. You should just do what everyone else does and allow thumbprint to sign in. There's also 0 reason you need location permissions for this app. --- Edit after reply from developer: Months ago I emailed you guys about this problem and you were no help in resolving. This is a business application. It needs to work. Obviously from the comments, I'm not the only person having the issues.

Downloaded and can't even log in without allowing it multiple permissions. Most apps allow you to deny permissions, then when the app actually needs to access them it will ask again. This one when you deny, you can't log in at all. Okay, I understand photo/media, if you can deposit checks from the app. Maybe call from app feature, I assume this is so you can call the help desk from the app, not necessary, but I understand. I draw the line at my location. There is no instance that I feel the bank needs to know my GPS location. Considering this is a feature I leave off on my phone unless I'm using Maps, I do not think it is okay for a bank to have unlimited access to turn it on as they wish. CHANGE YOUR PERMISSIONS!!! THEY SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO LOG IN, ONLY REQUIRED WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO USE RELATED FEATURES.

Clunky, buggy, repetitive, annoying, slow, and repetitive. And if that's not good enough, the receipt "text reader" functionality is still at a first grade level. Oh, and if you tell it NOT to email you confirmation of your receipts, it just emails you anyway because why not. I literally hate having to use this app once a month, I'd rather have a male version of PMS.

If I could give this app negative stars, I would. It's absolutely awful. It's SO slow, the text last, have to double tap to get anywhere, pictures take so long to upload, can't upload picture and edit description at the same time. I had to upload 12 recipets, it took me almost an hour because of the issues mentioned above. this is nothing more than lazy app development.

Edit/update. Capturing images is still abysmal. Even when I put the check in the frame they give me parts get cut off so it's a guessing game Very frustrating that I have uninstalled/reinstalled this 4 times at this point. Sure it saves me a trip to the bank, but I've been wrestling with it for 25 minutes on a Friday night when I should have been out the door. It's mostly functional, but could stand a lot of improvements as far as capturing of the image, stability, and load times are concerned.

This might be one of the worst app experiences I've ever encountered. The sign-in might be the least worst part, when I remember my password (the app doesnt let you see the pw you enter, so dont mess up). After three failed attempts you are locked out and have to call an 800 number like it is the 1990s. One you are in the app, things slow way down. I'm not exaggerating when I say it may take 2-3 seconds from screen press to action. I have to use this app for work and it makes me want to quit.

I need to upload a few receipts for my company credit card. That is my only use for this app. Wells Fargo won't even let the app open without giving it a LONG list of permissions. You don't need access to my mic, or contacts, or location in background. You don't need to scan and connect to nearby devices or see other apps currently open. However, if a single one from their list isn't allowed the app refuses to open. I'm deleting this app and you should too.

Close but no cigar. The updated app works exactly like the browser version. BUT on an Android cellphone where screen space is at a premium, the app elements cannot be re-sized. When you need to use the keyboard, #1, the keyboard pops up and covers the data entry box - you type blind. #2, on my phone you type normally (& blindly) "Printing" and when you get to see your words, they are entered backwards! ("gnitnirP") so on Android phones this app is a waste of time.

I'm not one to rate and review apps, but I am hoping this might be seen and fixed. The app used to be very reliable, but currently, it is virtually unusable on my Galaxy S23. It can't scroll in intuitive ways, typing descriptions enters the words backwards, and attaching receipts now requires sending images to an email, which didn't use to be the case and makes it that much harder to use. If these can be fixed, I will gladly change my review.
