Good stories, a pay wall that makes sense to have but is used in a weird way where to read a thousand chapters with 12 pages in each can cost past 20$ to read fully and a new ad system where since it's stuck on the bottom gets hit by accident a lot and redirects me from the story with no real way to get rid of it. Liked it better when the ads where just at the end of the chapters of every story, if you have to keep the ads bar can you move it to the top of the page so it doesn't ge hi by acciden

I really like the app, and I don't mind paying to read because a lot of the stories to me are worth it, and the authors deserve to get paid too. I just wish that whenever I finish a daily task to receive a fast pass, that the fast pass can be used for all books not just random ones that I won't read. I have a huge stack of fast passes that I will never use just wasting away.

Ok so first off the number of ways I want to insult the apps developers is insane due to the recent updates Because: 1-This app is stupidly expensive and you better off looking at other places to read the same books. 2-The ever growing issue with fast passes because it seems like they are doing everything in their power to make the passes useless. 3-At this point you can only get 1 usable pass unless your lucky to get a single genre pass that you can use.

It used to be a good app, I loved using it to read novels, even if it was annoying to have to use fast passes Then it got so much worse Recently, they've removed the ability to vote for books in order to get another roast pass, so now you'll generally only get one per day, unless you're lucky and get a genre fast pass you can use, which is terrible, because now it's only a chance to get something helpful for checking in. And now, it costs 2 fast passes per chapter. Utter ridiculousness.

a horrible buggy mess. the developers seem to ignore bugs that make the app unusable to instead switch around the ui. if you use the audio feature it will skip chapters, crash, skip around in a chapter, or sometimes just not play anything. these issues have not only been left unpatched but have gotten worse overtime. the only good thing about the app is the people who go through the trouble of uploading to it.

It's a good app overall. I like the idea, but It's way too focused on money. You have to get the subscription in order to actually enjoy the app at all. Even then, it'll only last you a couple of chapters. Please make ways to get coins for free! It has passes, but they only last one singular chapter, and it takes crazy about of time to get them. The writing part of the app is good, but I can't figure out how to publish my work. I like the idea. Just tone down on the money-making aspect.

My dislike about how the app works while reading is the slider for chapters. I often tap my screen on accident or try scrolling the page and it registers as a tap and the little pop-up comes and I lose my chapter and place I was reading. Next is there's no option to remove the volume up and down keys from changing the next page that I have seen so far. Other than that the app is nice to find decent stuff to read and rarely you will find a hidden gem. "Not the best for comics"

This app has good quality comics but I warn you don't use it unless you are rich and can pay for them all. their fast pass system has gotten worse and worse. One way to get the fast passes for a free comic page is to watch a video. Usually I have no problem with that but lately the videos have been forcing me to download apps I don't want! It was normal for the video to take you to the play store before but now once the video ends and takes you to the play store it automatically downloads app.

The app is fairly intuitive, at least for authors. It doesn't seem to be difficult to use for readers either. There's a lot of content and the users seem friendly, and the interface is pretty smooth. I haven't had any issues since downloading yesterday, which is more than I can say for Wattpad. Moderation also seems decent from what I can tell, and there is an active userbase which means there are more options available to me. Overall, pretty good app.

It's a good app, and there are a few GEMS I ran across. However, the "pay to read" system is not IT. It's like I'll read a really good book, I'm immersed! But all of a sudden, I come across a locked page... Now you get the option to unlock 2 pages by watching an ad & even an option to use a fast pass PER DAY, but that's it. After reading, say, for instance, 30 free pages I have to pay for the rest. The book can have 200-300 pages left! BFFR, how long will it take for it to be free!? A LIFETIME!

Overall, it's not bad, but it's been crashing a lot since the last update when I turn on audio mode, then use another app while listening to the audio. In the past, this wasn't a problem. And now the audio simply doesn't work... years later, the audio is still having issues. Update, audio mode is basically useless unless you don't mind waiting 3 hours for 2 sentences.

I haven't had many problems with the platform so far. The only things that kinda make it annoying are the fact that you can't read novels or comics unless you have either coins or fast-pass to unlock the chapters, which is offset by simply checking in daily to then get the weekly reward to buy a fast-pass with points you earn. And then the other thing is that when it comes to typing, the app seems to have some sort of autocorrect problem that then makes Grammer a struggle.

Their used to be a way to get four fastpasses per day which each unlocked any chapter of any book. Then that number was reduced to three. Now you can only get two and one other fastpass that is only good for certain categories, types, or even just one specific work, not the stories you actually want to read. Classic bait and switch tactics to get loyal readers to spend more money. I asked customer service about the reason behind these changes and wouldn't give an honest answer. Go elsewhere.

Added ads even inside chapters one already paid for. So greedy. They always shove things up your face. If I try to exit a novel, just leave me. No need to remind me about challenge, goals or whatever it is. Also, when one enters the app, a random novel pops up and one needs an extra tap to enter the app or wait a timer. For what reason did they think this was a good idea. Just put that random novel somewhere else inside the app.

After these last few updates, the app has started to become worse. First, they remove the ability to vote using energy stones, which means you get one less fast pass per day. Secondly, the new daily check-in system removed the ability to see what the bonus reward for watching the video is, which means you just have to watch it and hope it is worth your time.

It is a cheap way to support the creators, both financially and mentally. Once I learn the ends and out, the app is easy to navigate and a great source for readers out there. The ability to communicate with fans and novelists while reading is both fun and exciting. I probably use the app a little too much. The free stuff is cool to and if you mix reading the paid novels with the fan fics, you could go without spending too much as well. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Going to try out some other services. Want to try to pay to support online authors but it's getting to be too much. Paying for a subscription no longer covers the price of a chapter per day. The fast pass system doesn't work on novels you are actually reading as they are by genre or by book half the time. When they do apply they expire in like a week so you can't save them for a novel you want to try.

The app is a confusing mess that makes it difficult to find things, while constantly shoving things in your face. The attempt at gamifying the experience is... not good. Also, the prices for unlocking chapters is irrationally high. However, I don't know if that is just the case for the novels at which I was looking. Edit 11/20/23 The interface issues seem to have been fixed insofar as the app is now navigable.

The UI is very frustrating. Pages constantly fail to load, it usually has a retry button but the button is small and it frequently thinks I'm trying to bring up the menu. When reading it sometimes pops up the menu when I am trying to scroll and I'll accidentally hit the navigation button and have to scroll all the way back to the right page. It also sometimes jumps back entire chapters after locking the screen. This app is only good for the content, it very buggy. I won't be using it anymore.

I'm enjoying the books I've found. The writing is well done. I just wish I could get coins easier by watching ads or something like that. That's the only reason I only gave four stars. I can't really afford to spend money in the app. Other apps I use allow you to watch videos to unlock chapters. If the had something similar I definitely rate it five stars.
