When you open the Weawow app, you’re likely to encounter unexpected "Wow" photos, rather than a boring, text-based forecast. And that’s not all: if you take "Wow" photos yourself, you can post your "Wow" photos from our Website. Then, we can integrate them into the app, where they’ll be seen by weather watchers all over the world (the app is available in over 50 languages).
The app’s layout is customizable, allowing you to select what to display like rain, wind gust, pressure, UV index, etc.
The Weawow is sustained by user donations. If you like the Weawow and want to support the Weawow project, please donate to us.
Of course, this is not mandatory, so please feel free to use the app.
WEATHER DATA
- Changeable weather providers: NWS (NOAA), DWD, Meteo France, AEMET, MET Norway, Dark Sky, AerisWeather, Weatherbit, World Weather Online, Open Weather map, (AccuWeather, Foreca).
- Free without advertisement: No annoying advertisements are displayed at all.
- Detailed weather: Temperature, Feels-like temperature, Rain, Humidity, Dew point, Clouds, Pressure, Wind, Wind gust, UV index, visibility, Snow depth. Temp., Rain, Wind, Wind gust, Pressure, Dew point, Humidity, Cloud cover, UV index, Visibility, Snowfall, Feels like, Solar radiation.
- Supported languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and 50 more languages.
- Sun and Moon: Sunrise time, sunset time, twilight, moon phases, full moon day, new moon day, age of the moon.
- Air Quality (CAMS, ECMWF), Severe Weather Alerts, Pollen (only AccuWeather and USA).
SIMPLE INTERFACE
- Bookmark: Manage your favorite places with bookmarks. You can change them by swiping left / right.
- Simple interface: You can get the necessary information by simply scrolling down the screen.
WEATHER MAP, RADAR
- Weather Providers: NOAA, RainViewer, MET Norway, MSC.
- Globe (14 days forecast): You can check the wind animation and various weather layers with the 3D earth.
- Google Maps (Radar & 1 day forecast): You can check the real rainfall radar with the Google Maps.
CUSTOMIZABLE LAYOUT
- As you like: You can freely change the layout to display daily weather, hourly weather, radar, etc.
- Sort order: You can change the priority of weather type like Temperature, Rain, Wind, Wind gust, Pressure, UV index.
- Weather Icon: You can change it from various weather icons.
- Choose your favorite theme: Dark theme and white theme are available.
CUSTOMIZABLE WIDGETS
- As you like: You can always check the weather you care about, such as the hourly UV index on your home screen.
- Widget themes: Simple, Clock, Hourly Graph, Daily Graph, Currently, Today, Hourly, Daily.
NOTIFICATIONS
- Push notification: Notifies the weather forecast for that day at the specified time.
- On-going notification: weather information up to 8 hours ahead, weekly weather, current weather.
MARKETPLACE
- You can post and sell your photos from Weawow's browser service.
- The posted photos are automatically displayed after being matched with the weather in the application as well.

Best weather app I have used by far. Its the only weather app I have used that provides all the little detail info about wind, rain amounts, air quality, etc and no ads! Please keep this app going the way it is, it's very nice and easy to use! Edit: Each section of info can be edited to show as much or little data as possible, or just remove sections you don't need. All great functions that add to this app!

Not only accurate weather forecasting, it's logical, straightforward and just what you need in the order you want to see it. I love the photograph selling feature and plan to do lots of it! Aside from the weather, the photographs that are sent in are stunning and make the app even more enjoyable! But the fact that there are no ads and it's free are very hard to find and just what I wanted. And, you can add a widget!!

Ad free and excellent quality. Excellent lightweight weather app. Very good and very attractive UI that is very configurable. Lots of nice widgets. Easily the best free weather app I've used. Worth the donation. I wish it included evening forecasts when 6pm hits. Current conditions are slow to update--it sometimes takes 20+ minutesto update even when manually refreshed.

Best weather app I have used yet! It's got everything you need to know, well organized and easy to read. I like the photo when you open the app which is unique, but would like to see you elevate that aspect with really stunning photos that capture the beauty of the weather. I don't know if you have an audio weather alert yet, as I just started using it, but otherwise I think it is a really great app. I haven't had any annoying ads or intrusive pop ups. 🤩 10/10

I give 5 stars because of the appearance and NO ADDS!!! Just installed it, I really have no experience yet with it. I will update my review accordingly. Thank you guys! Update 04/19/2024 Definitely not perfect, but way better than every other weather app I tried until now. Weather Underground was one I limed a lot, until they changed the UI. The new graphics aren't my preffered o e, on top of that, they made it subscription based. This one I like a lot. I'm checking it while I'm traveling.

Been using about 3 weeks, I'm happy with everything so far! I will try weather & radar apps for days, & not like any. I'm way picky on radar, this one is clear, with a "jumpier" movement to it, but looks great. Customizable! I will say, I have the widget set to refresh every 30 minutes - yet seems I have to click on & open the widget to refresh. I do know refresh can be shown on screen. Keep up the great work! Best bonus; No ads! For real! Plus the rad, gorgeous weather backgrounds! ☮️💜🕊️

It works! I have been bouncing around for a decent weather app with a widget that fits the space I have for it on my home screen. Others are great apps but don't have very good widget options and one in particular does but the widget was always failing. This one looks great, seems accurate so far, at least as accurate as other weather apps but also has great, functional widgets. And the app looks really great too.

Amazing app! Literally everything is perfect except there is this really annoying bug where I'm not able to edit the height of the widget and it's driving me crazy. Just that one thing is holding me up from using this app as it takes up an entire extra row on the home screen. The app says it should be possible, but when I make the change, it doesn't apply to the widget.

Best weather app out there right now and I've been through plenty of them over the years. Nice and clean with plenty of info in a tidy layout. Virtually every other popular app seems to like to oversize graphics and what I refer to as the "information density" really suffers for no real gain. It forces you to scroll endlessly or go to different pages for things that I can get in a glance with this. Great work guys!

This app provides so much weather info! It's fun to look through and see so many details. I like that I can customize the layout. I also like that you can change the weather data provider...I wanted to see barometric pressure data and NWS doesn't show that yet - at least I couldn't find it. So I selected a different weather provider from the list & this one displays pressure. The user interface was easy to use and I thought explanations/directions were clear.

This app is glitch free and provides all the information I could want about the weather, sunrise and sunset, and air quality with wonderful graphics and background images. Honestly, it's the most creative and consistently accurate weather app I've ever had.... It's free, and no ads! I especially enjoy the animated arrows showing wind direction on the radar overlay. It's very dynamic and helps me visualize what's happening in a clear and engaging way! Highly recommend!!!

So far this app has the graphics closest to what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, the weather information itself is not accurate enough from the free providers. Western Colorado weather changes too rapidly and I have yet to find a weather app that can keep up with it. So far nobody predicts the weather in the different parts of the Grand Valley quite right.

So far really accurate, nice layout with good information, and no ads! Developers, everyone is loving this app the way it is. Please don't do a complete overhaul and change every bit of the app or at least allow those that don't like change to be able to go back to the original design. I'm not talking about small updates, bug fixes, or subtle changes for improvement. I mean major changes. Thank you!

So far, so good! There are awesome little features that I'm not accustomed to, compared to my most recent weather app reloaded onto the last phone I purchased. I would recommend being able to store various locations in a drop down menu, so those of who travel from town to town- sometimes state to state, for work have the ability to check the location's forecast prior the arrival, without entering it every time. That would be the only thing i noticed and missed enough to mention atm:)

I have tried about a dozen weather apps and so far this is the best. Well laid out, accurate, severe weather alerts, hourly precipitation chance, hourly temperature forecast, wind direction radar, moon phases, sun rise and set, air quality, humidity, dew point, and visibility. Very nice widgets that stay up to date, many sizes to choose from. I definitely recommend.

Beautiful App, and free! The amount of work and detail they put into this is phenomenal. It is highly polished and professional, and I haven't seen an add. I don't know what the developers are getting out of this, but I love the app. I downloaded it primarily for the clock widget, since I wanted to replace the one on my OnePlus phone (which has a red "1" for branding purposes, and this cannot be turned off). The clock widget is perfect, but then I fell in love with the weather as well! Amazing!

I've not been using the app very long, but what I have seen I like. The information is presented in a clear and accessible manner. Very nice! Oh, and a nice feature (I think) is being able to pick a location from a map. Some places just don't have a good street address, or the closest place name was not showing up in other weather apps, but this one had no problem finding the forecast.

As a visual person, this feeds my soul! I INSTANTLY absorb and get the data with a mere glance. I can switch to seeing the current and future temp, rain, wind, pressure in one beautiful graph, and zoom in for hourly details. I also appreciate being able to pick a data source from a sizeable list. My favorite feature is seeing the real time wind, rain, or snow over my map area, or anywhere in the world! I've installed other weather apps, then uninstalled them! A happy user since 2020.

I've been looking for a weather app that has no news section, as all the other default and external weather apps do. Every time I'd open the standard Samsung, accuweather, etc apps, all I'd see is disaster reports, deaths and anything possible that could make me feel bad. This one doesn't do that, and i love it for that.

Accurate and simple to use. I have tried many weather apps and this one hits what I am looking for. It has a clean design that works quickly and accurately. With lots of different widgets that gives your phone that custom look that you are wanting. There are no annoying adds that get in the way of what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone wanting a good weather app.
