This app is poorly executed and frustrating. Monthly I have to uninstall it and add it back to my phone because of bugs and errors. There are some great workouts on it but it annoying having to deal with HR belts not being found, errors when logging in, crashes etc... I want to get on my bike and ride! Overall, considering the money you spend, I would never get a watt bike again as even that is built on the cheap side and not made for anyone 6ft 2 or above. Shame because it could be so good.

Great when it works. Tracks power output, cadence and has a nice variety of suggested sessions. Authentication is terrible. You can't be logged in to the app and the website at the same time. Sometimes the app loses login and needs reinstalling to fix. Not great when you're at the gym with no internet access, expecting it to work. Of course you can't even record a quick ride without logging in.

Features of the app are decent, and I think the display during a workout is really nicely laid out and intuitive. Unfortunately, I can rarely get it to pair with either the Wattbike Pro or Trainer at my gym without struggling for ~10 mins or so. It consistently sees the bikes, but struggles to pair with them - icon onstantly blinking red/green. When I used the app today, it crashed during the final section of the workout with no way to recover my place and continue.

Wattbike's are just awful nowadays. I used to use early versions of hardware and software in the gym and they worked fine. 1. App doesn't work, can't login. Can't login directly from the bike in the gym either even though it's connected to the internet. 2. Can't just set a distance that you want to ride without all the fancy sessions. The old Wattbike allowed you to select a certain time or distance. 3. Bikes are annoying/clunky, more like a piece of farm equipment than exercise kit.

As others have noted, it's a good app with some good workouts although I note a recent 'pay to play' addition for some new workouts. Big issue is the login. It logs me out and EVERY day and takes multiple attempts to log back in. This process usually takes so long that my wattbike has switched itself back off even though I'm sitting peddling trying to connect (not joking!). Please wattbike, sort this out.

Absolutely useless for connecting. This has been a Wattbike problem with their software for years. Sometimes it recognises your username and password first time, sometimes it takes 20 goes. I check I am using the right password every time. Such a shame as the bikes are the best training tool. Need to get some professional programmers guys. In their defence, if you use the software and bike every day, it is much more reliable. It just falls apart if you don't use for a few weeks or months.

This is the most unreliable app I have ever used. It requires multiple log in attempts, and often will not log in or stay logged in at all, rendering the bike useless. Lost count of the number of times I've got kitted up only to not be able to do any training. I now ensure it will log in before getting changed. Which is a pity, as when it works it's very good. Large amount of varied and engaging training plans.

The app was great when it worked (I particularly like the visual design) but for several months I have not been able to stay logged in. Despite being on the latest version (6.2.1) that is claimed to be more stable it either fails to log in or when I can log in it silently logs me out and so bins the ride data. As an app developer I can't understand why an application that is so fundamental to a company is allowed to be unusable for several months.

Doesn't work, it's garbage. Can't login, but then actually does log you in, or you get different error messages when trying to login, then you search for a bike which may or may not work, then it logs you out. Not fit for purpose, non existent quality control. Will review again soon when changes are made. I have also been speaking to support which are slightly helpful but a waste of everyone's time.

'Error Signing In' message so unusable at the moment (Version 4.3.1) Android. Turns out you need Android 10 for the app to work - so no good on older phones. When I did have it, it was pretty flaky in use, I often had to restart phone to connect to the WattBike, some bikes at the gym just don't connect (even when set up correctly). I persisted with the app because the workouts are well structured and (when they work) are easy to understand and use, but it is a pain in the arse...

You can't stay logged in reliably - I use their sign in, not having Facebook or apple. You log in, wait 2 seconds and get kicked out again. Occasionally you can stay logged in but it's rare. When that happens it's functional if a bit weird on how you change bike settings. I am interested in the pedalling efficiency but it's only worked once. The bike itself is fine with Zwift. Still happening in December 24, 2 months later.

App keeps logging me out after a few seconds, impossible to start a workout. States that connection is impossible or just returns to login screen without warning. Bike is great, app is rubbish, a real downer after spending so much on the hardware. iPad version of the app doesn't have this problem - I should be able to be logged into more than one device (not bike) at a time.

For months, I've had persistent problems with staying logged in, but now the app is just unusable. It asks me to log in, I put in my details, I get an error message, suddenly it looks like I've logged in, but then two seconds later I'm back to the log in page. I can't start a quick ride or any workout and even if I could, it would probably log me out halfway through. I'm going to try Zwift instead, so I at least have some way of tracking my workouts.

I don't understand why support keeps recommending to clear app data or to uninstall and reinstall the app. It's evident that there are bugs in the app. The app signs you out at random, sometimes causing you to lose progress. It's difficult, sometimes impossible, to sign back in as the app gives you constant sign in errors. Unfortunately this issue doesn't just affect me, but a few other Watt Bike users I know too. Other reviewers have pointed this issue out too. The app worked fine back in May.

Good free app for Watt Bike with included sessions. I would like to be able to programme sessions though.

Terrible experience, hard to connect your device, I lost so many times my workouts because of disconnections or cookies expired mid of the workout and autologout. If it wasn't convenient in my gym, I wouldn't use it all. Not worth the money. Basic infrastructure and software foundation are missing.

Connectivity issues as others have said. for me, I cannot get the app to connect reliably to the bike. it sees it, it looks like it's connecting, but the connection stays red. I've managed to get it to work once out of 3 x 45 minute sessions at the gym. Wattbike, you need to sort out your app as a matter of urgency. Customers will be reticent to buy a premium exercise bike if the app that runs it doesn't work.

The workouts in this app are poorly organized and seem to be driven more by marketing than by training. Also, the app regularly logs me out so when I'm getting ready for a new workout I have to put in my username and password yet again. I have contacted their support about these and other things but they do not seem interested in improving the customer experience. Overall, this app is frustrating to use and I don't look forward to using it.

The support staff are really trying, and there's some very promising things here, but every time I've tried to use it, bugs prevented me from doing what I wanted: When I first got it, it couldn't run on currently supported Google phones. It worked on my Pixel 4, but without full features. They fixed the crashing bug -- it loads on my Pixel 8 now -- but now it is impossible to log in, on both devices.

The app now seems to be unusable, whereas in the past it was very stable. I login and then get logged out, either immediately, after a few seconds, or when changing a menu. Fortunately, Quick Ride seems to be the one thing that stays working. I've cleared my caches, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, all to no avail. I'm on the latest version (6.2.2). Would like to give this app a better score, but it needs to be made stable and workable first, please.
