Pretty straightforward game. Strategy and luck of the draw. No purchase necessary to build a good deck and theres a lot of replay value. Also a great intro to 40k lore and some mechanics. Great for chewing up time in the waiting room or a long car ride. Only main complaint is when it lags out if you lose service or sometimes it freezes up, but I've never lost what I gained. Overall been playing a long time and its only gotten better.

It has been a very enjoyable game. I like the battling system and all the different unit types. My only complaint it that the loot box timer of frustrating. If I want to play this game, I can really only do so four times, at a time. I want to be able to sit down and play! Not babysit it and wait for my prizes. Edit: Complaints with the cool down are the same, but I have really enjoyed the new additions and all of the new warlords to try out. Score increased to 4 out of 5.

Love the game so far just started playing a little while and I'm really into it. Great mechanics. When editing the deck I wish you could view card stats though. Sometimes you have to tap the card quite a few times to get it to show stats while you're in the deck editor. Also, I don't know if it's because I'm low-level or if this function doesn't exist, but being able to save your deck would be cool. For each leader that I have I want to be able to save more than one deck for them.

I only have a few complaints, 1. The matchmaking for casual, and 2. The scarcity of credits that are necessary for upgrading cards. The matchmaking for casual could be fixed by adding ranks, and the credit situation would be a simple fix, just have it so after each battle you get awarded with credits depending on wether you win or have been defeated, the amount you get would vary. Other than those two complaints, everything is pretty good, the art is fantastic, the gameplay is simple, easy to do

I like it. Simple effective gameplay. You can get stomped but so far most games have been pretty close, more wins than losses so far. Biggest complaint is when the game crashes and eats your time sensitive slots for events. Very very annoying. I've also realized it crashes when trying to enter any battles as well. If this issue isn't fixed I'll be editing this to one star.

Really great game, I just wish they fixed the menus and controls. Maybe it's because I have an older phone, but the GUI continuously opens up popups to look at the cards, then I have to close that window to look at a different card. If I could scroll side to side, or I'd the menus didn't take so many resources to open, I think I would get much less frustrated with how the game runs. Otherwise, I love the game, and hope that they make a low resource version of the game without the added affects.

I love this game! The combat is simple yet still allows for tactics. The cards art is pictures of painted minis but I like that alot. My only issue is that the selection of leader cards feels a bit low. At least they seem to be adding more every once in awhile Edit: Well, after uninstalling for a few months and coming back I still love this game. My score hasn't changed but for different reasons. It could just be my phone but the game feels like it runs more slowly than it used to

decent and has potential but gets boring real quick. gets pretty repetitive and not much to do after a while. Update: Changed from 3 stars to 1 star. this game freezes a lot and you'll end up losing progress (because of campaign energy spent). There is also the issue of not being able to transfer account to a different device. I had to get a new phone and since there is no log in required, there is no way to retrieve my previous cards (including money spent!)

The gameplay is great, amazing even. It has one of those systems that you pick it up easily, but as you progress gives you much creative freedom. That being said, the game REALLY doesnt want you to play more than a few games every 8+ hours(long timers on everything), and there is a massive bottleneck in the currency used to upgrade cards. I've used all the premium currency I've been awarded to get coins but I'm still stuck with many cards I can't upgrade. Would be 5 stars if fixed.

At first I thought this was a very shallow game. Now I have grown to loving the simple 3v3 card game. Eventually you realize that charging the attacks you aren't using allows some serious counters at the right time and many of the cards gain unexpected skills later, meaning even more possibilities. The learning curve is a sharp one, but I definitely enjoy this game. I also appreciate that the matches snowball, so I don't have to spend 20 minutes to play a round. Short, Simple, Exciting.

Long-time WH40K (35 years) and CCG (30 years) fan, so there is a lot to like. Cards are great and combat is usually fun. Problem is in balance of matches. Each card can be upgraded over time with better stats/effects, but the cost stays the same. The same deck with more upgrades uses the same slots/points. As you level up, you can also include more cards and more points in your deck. Unfortunately, in ranked play, you can be matched with someone 3+ levels higher and still lose big points.

Pretty fun overall, with some caveats. The game is fun, but I dont see many of my favorite heros and characters. Those will hopefully come out. I would have liked more of a faction play, instead of the three big groupings. The game is easy to pick up, and not too bad for a free to play, however I want a better tutorial and tactics explanation. A card buying system to build your war and would be welcome as well.

Game is fun but it never works properly. It crashes every 30 seconds despite restarting or reinstalling. The most egregious thing about this game is how it forces you to look at the store page after every match. It lags your game for 20 seconds just so it can beg you to look at some sort of deal. Asking for money every 2 minutes when the game doesn't work properly is a wacky business practice.

Cant give this game a good rating. As soon as you've played it for a couple hours (sooner?)you can see the "depth" of the gameplay. There are very few options + it feels simple once you get the hang of it. Then you will run into a situation which no amount of skill could solve: the opponent's deck is just a better matchup or has downright better cards. Pretty frustrating. For a 40k fan it seems like it could be fun but theres better use of your time. Go paint some minis. You'll thank me later.

The game does a very poor job matching up opponents of like levels. At low levels you continually get beat badly because your opponent has many more point allocations than you. This game could be fun if they would improve the matchup algorithms. They campaign side is good. Too bad the whole game isn't. The speed of gameplay also needs to be increased or add an option to adjust.

The early grind is insanely difficult, and almost forces you to buy the starter pack. At 3.99 it isnt bad though and lets you get a foothold, and honestly if its the only thing I spend. the game is worth 3.99 at this point. However, I can already see that the large progression schemes of each card, coupled with the fact that you only get cards randomly and sparingly, drawing from a large pool means maxing a card isnt a matter of strategy but luck. The economy seems chokingly restricted as well.

Game is pretty great for fans of the universe and the uninitiated alike. My only complaint is there are times when you can play for.10 minutes, then be out of energy for the campaign and still waiting for "wins" and kill boxes to unlock. Pay to win is possible but doesn't seem necessary in this game, but there is a lopsided balance to the level unlocks, for example getting another deck slot at levels when you can't afford to activate more cards, ect.

I want to really like this game. It's cool that they use the actual models on the cards, and the descriptions are a nice touch. The gameplay itself is not as engaging, unfortunately. It's simplistic and but also complex, but in a negative way. With a game like 40k, you'd want each faction to play like their style - but it's boiled down to just Ranged, Psychic, and Melee. I know the gameplay is probably deeper than I realize but it didn't convey that enough to a new player like me.

The game is pretty fun and has some cool mechanics. You have to level up a bit to unlock ranked and play against other players and the game is very much designed with pay-to-win options. Overall for a card game, it's fairly average. There are much better mobile card games but if you're a 40k fan, I'd suggest you check it out and try it yourself if you enjoy the tabletop game. The game plays slow as well so it can be rough but only ranked has a speed-up mechanic and I don't understand why.

There is no even matchmaking system for casual play, so after you finish the tutorial missions prepare to be a level 7 going against level 20+ decks that will have more cards to use than you and a higher deck point limit. If you want to win any matches you will be forking over a mind boggling amount of money. You are able to unlock a decent amount in the beginning and the battle pass is helpful and cheap enough not to irritate too much but you will still hit a wall of constant lossess
