App works great. I like that it can keep the records on the device and doesn't need to connect to an external web account, although it can be connected if desired. I need to take away a couple of stars. Shortly after I entered this review they pushed an update that required creating an account and connecting. Not sure if it's related, but also about that time the GPS went wacko and position on maps jumps all over.

I love the features in this app! There's a lot of data available that can be included in custom workout profiles that most apps I've seen don't offer. But after using it for a few months, I haven't been happy with how the data is presented. The graphs have TOO many data points so tiny fluctuations in pace or cadence make it impossible to see an average or trend. The app also still does not have a dark mode for indoor use. At gyms with low lighting (spin, OTF) the screen is way too bright!

This app does a decent job of tracking my exercise activity. I’ve been using it for well over a year now. The reason I’m writing a review now is that it recently (within the past few weeks) started cutting the seconds off the workout time when the time gets up to 10 minutes. If it weren’t for that issue, I’d rate the app 4-stars. Another issue I have with it (and have had ever since I got the heart rate monitor) is that it is finicky about connecting to the heart rate monitor.

Good for cycling but absolutely horrible for running. With the bike app you need to make sure it is actually running. It will not register until you hit your preset. But sometimes it still won't work. Sometimes suddenly stops and you have to close the app in order to get it to run at all. Running app doesn't work. Start the app, it registers I am running w/ a speed and distance but the distance stops at .01 Clock keeps running and the app lets you pause, but distance won't advance.

Great work out tool. Just added this to my stationary bike and the cadence sensor works really well. Took a bit for it to connect for the first time, but got that worked out. Would love to have it sync with google fit. Pair nicely with MapMyFitness app. Would love to use the speed sensor, but bike has a solid wheel, so no way to add that device.

at least once a workout, the app randomly pauses my workout without alerting me, so unless I notice right away, I lose a big chunk of my workout time. maybe it's when I move out of Bluetooth range of my phone, but if the app is going to pause workouts in that situation, there needs to be a notification! also sucks that it doesn't talk to Garmin.

I decided to download this app to start tracking runs. I have a tickr, so I decided to use it on my runs too. The HRM requires a long process of trying over and over again to connect to the app (I've also forgetting the HRM and reconnecting from there), and the app can't seem to keep track of my location most of the time, either lagging with where I actually am or just stops recording my location. I'll give the app credit for its looks and how it could work, but it does not. Not for runs anyway

GPS not reliably accessed. Gets a lock when I start, then seems to stop tracking location for the majority of the ride until I end. I turned battery optimizations off for the app, but I wonder if my riding with the screen off has an impact. With Strava dropping support for sensors, this app and the integration are the only way I'll be able to upload outdoor activities with heart rate. At least without buying more stuff.

Strava support appears to have stopped working The app works great with garmin speed and cadence ant+ sensors. It did not work as well with wahoo speed cadence sensor. The wahoo Bluetooth sensor failed to connect most of the time and it had a hard time detecting speed. The app is basic and it works well. It could do with a user interface update. It feels dated. I would also like to be able to create custom screens. I don't need to see a heart rate box if I don't have a heart rate sensor.

This is the most frustrating app. For months at a time it connects without problem to my Cadence then inexplicably it won't connect. Usually it comes back eventually. Not this time. Have rebooted phone multiple times, uninstalled & reinstalled app, replaced battery, checked location services, made sure Bluetooth is on, etc, etc. To no avail. If I could give this zero stars I would. Update: finally got it back by uninstalled, reinstall, then usable location & re-enable location. Voila, it's back.

I like the app's ability to connect external sensors, in particular my power meter. Moreover, the account setup and sensor connecting were super easy and quick! It also pairs easily with Strava. However, the app was unable to record my full activity. It dropped (though saved) the activity twice. On the third time, I just gave up and used Strava to record the rest. I don't know why it stopped recording but it's inability to record more than 10min renders the app useless for my purposes.

Wow. So, it's super hard to find the sweet spot for positioning tracker. For me, at least I saw it swing from an accurate reading to as low 45bpm (!) with no rhyme or reason I could figure out. No target zone and really limited workout options (no elliptical? weird). I should have spent the extra for a fitbit

It helps me follow the peloton app, without buying a peloton. I needed to know where my cadence was. If this gets to 115, it goes back to zero. This doesn't just happen to me. Happens to my friend, too. Also, it's annoying trying to stop the workout. Pause, stop, click are you sure and end. Lol

I have the newest phone with highest possible comm technology and 5G connection, and yet this app has not once successfully tracked my distance using its GPS. I've ran so much without any records of them which is annoying to say the least. I make sure the GPS is functional (green bars) before starting the workout, and it still cuts off in the middle. The only redeeming quality is that it's compatible with my heart rate monitor.

App crashed about 5 times during a century ride. Not very good for tracking if this happens. Thank goodness I had Strava running in the background. I should have read app reviews and not just the speed / cadence sensor reviews. You need to fix the app or you will lose customers. Gear is no good if software doesn't work. This may be a short relationship with your company.

Used the app twice. First time it recorded total time, but distance was 1/4 of a mile total. Second time, the distance is still off. I was running a 1 mile loop, and it looks like I cut through the middle several times. I noticed the error, and turned on Strava, and Strava recorded perfectly, so my phone GPS is working fine.

Great app. Been using it for years now. I think reminder alarms, workout schedules and goals are needed now. I would love to be able to set a workout target and receive an achievement when met. The biggest downfall I've recently noticed is the software cannot retrieve speed and distance data from the Specialized Mtcu. I was really hoping that would work.

I have the app paired with a speed sensor on my MTB. It has changed the wheel size on me a few times now, and I didn't notice until after the ride when comparing it with the planned route. This past ride it was showing only half of the expected distance and had changed the size to something other than the circumference I measured for my bike. I think I'll be looking for a more reliable app.

Over the years I've owned my kickr, the app has gradually lost the ability to detect speed, power, and distance of rides. Unplugging and plugging the trainer back in, disconnecting and reconnecting bluetooth doesn't work. It also cannot perform spin-downs anymore. Overall, the app has greatly reduced functionality other than setting resistance.

What happened? App performance has taken a nose dive. As of late this app crashed mid workout, sometimes it recovers the data on the 30 mins I've already been at it, other times not. Saving a workout is no better. I tried to save my workout from this morning, and it's been 'Recovering session' for the past 10 mins. My device is updated as is the app, but it's becoming frustrating. The one good thing is that all three of my sensors are recognized pretty quickly.
