After using it a few weeks here is my light reviews It does work when it is working. It will drop the volume decently. Honestly would like it to go down more but for what it does its pretty good. My biggest gripe really is it will stop working and then even closing it and reopening it does not fix it. Additionally, I made sure to tak off power saving options and to enable background use without restrictions. It still stops working. so not bad when it works but very bad when it stops. Enjoy.

It doesn't function when changing between apps like Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, Audible, Kindle's read aloud function until I restart my phone. I listen to my preferred driving music coming to work, different music or a book while I work, driving music at lunch, back to my book or other music, then driving music coming home. It's frustrating to have to restart my phone to get the app to work again every time I switch my streaming app.

Using this app at first was a bliss since I was able to lower the volume of my phone with ease, but as time passed it lost its effectiveness. I have tried numerous times installing and uninstalling it since this is the only app I found that can lower the volume of my phone. But I grew irritated by doing it over again, therefore I resulted to stop using it and leaving a review here. It's not for pettiness, but for other users to be aware if ever they're experiencing the same issue as mine.

This was a perfect app untill the most recent update. Now it takes forever to open because it's fetching full screen unskippable ads and it stops working every couple hours to force you to reopen it and view another ad. L Dev. Bring back the ultra lightweight version of the app without the monthly subscription or I'll just download an old version from the web.

One of the best sound dampener/controllers on the app store. Adds an additional modifier on top of your phones built-in controls for full control of sound volume, and can work in background. Sounds great, but since they updated it it doesn't go away when you hit 'end service' button - stays running in the background. And previously if they had ads it wasn't obtrusive, I didn't notice, but now it will run a full-screen blocking ad that you have to wait to skip, I install and uninstall every time.

I ALREADY LOVE THIS APP!! switching from a Samsung to an Apple to an Android has been difficult, especially the volume! either really loud or can't hear anything at all on this device! so I'd have to sit down with my volume at one percent and it'd be awfully loud, disruptive, and embarrassing. along with certain videos with cursing! this is what I've been looking for! I absolutely love you for making this so much!

I spended several hours to try fix to too loud lowest volume on Xiaomi (Xiaomi usually shut all background apps) and this app finally solved my problem. Instant 5/5. I would like sound decreasing with 1% step and headphones styles, but seems like it hard in technical sense. Don't work anymore, so 4/5. Hope they will fix it, it's paintfull to see such low rating on the app

Great app. My ears are sensitive to sound and I wanted to be able to play music softly to help fall asleep. Normal sound settings are too loud but with this app I can almost listen to soothing sounds until just before I'm asleep. Still have to turn everything off though. All-in-all it's a great app!

The lowest volume on my phone is still too loud when I use headphones. This app allows me to lower the volume. I took off a star because I sometimes need to force stop and restart it to get it to work right. Overall, this app is excellent for limiting the volume on my headset.

Bad update. Suddenly the Only way to close app is force stop. The stop service button does not work. Don't respond to this with your same standard reply that you seem to copy and paste on every critical review. It's a waste of both of our time, because you are not serious about growing membership on your platform. Screwed up a very good app. On to one that works

Charging 15$/week for premium is absolutely ridiculous on its own, but especially when the app doesn't work. I literally have to uninstall the app to turn it off and the volume feature will stop working and the only way to turn it back on is by uninstalling the app and reinstalling. The recent update sucks. It was perfectly fine before this update. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm very grateful for this super useful app! It works nearly perfectly. Every once in a rare while it'll stop working or have a bit of a static-y sound, but stopping the app and reopening it fixes it right away. But! these little issues could just be due to my phone being pretty old and with very little RAM, so it may not even be this application's fault. I really love this app. Thank you to the developer!

Was good enough at 4 stars. Then they added a premium version you have to pay for and on the free version you get really annoying adds before you can even open the app. It lags and the audio doesnt lower until you finish the add. 0/10 now. - edited because I'm even more annoyed they created a premium version and made the original free version worse.

This app has been fantastic! It's just so simple, does exactly what I need it to, & so far the adds have not been too intrusive. What I use it for is to allow my volume to go lower than what the stock system allows so that when I wear headphones I'm not blasting loud stuff straight into my ears. I love that it also keeps those smaller sound increments as you adjust the volume, giving much more gentle control of the volume. It also saves what I have it set to, so I just turn it off & on as needed

Don't really appreciate the predatory pricing from the premium. It's stated to be $15 a WEEK which means $60 a month which is about the price of Netflix premium, Hulu no ads, and Spotify premium COMBINED. This app is absolutely not worth this much money. There are alternatives like "precision volume pro" which takes a bit of fiddling and setting up to get the same effect but it's a one time payment of I think around 5 dollars rather than a subscription of $60 a month. Please stay away from this.

Thank you for this app! Excellent for those with sensitive ears, and normally would rate a 5, but if possible, please reduce how often the pop-up ads are initiated. I appreciate that the app is free and I don't mind an ad every so often but most recent updates implement a temu ad every time and 70% of those the close x is off and the temu app opens. Also, ads with sound then shut off the sound that I need to adjust. It all just makes the ads more and more frustrating.

I use this app to lower my phones volume lower than the settings will allow me to so that I can listen to something to fall asleep. I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall to get it to work for me. Sometimes it won't stop working and to use my phone at normal volume I have to uninstall because the "stop" button doesn't work.

No longer works Edit 1/7/25 They don't reply to emails. Pretty sure it's a scam to steal that info. AVOID. Edit 4/14/25 App still doesn't work right. Still not replying to emails. You'd think when they went from 4.7 stars to 3.8 they'd actually listen to what the customers want but nope. I still have it installed bc I can't find an alternative that works. Slow, buggy, and an INSANE price point for ad free.

Used to be great; I didn't mind the ads since they weren't intrusive (I understand the developer needs to eat). With the current update, you have to force stop the app to actually turn it off (will stay perpetually on otherwise) and the app itself will work 20% of the time. There's no way this is even worth $5 a yearwith how buggy this has become.

This app works! My old phone used to let you adjust the volume of individual apps so I could get it just as quiet as I needed to fall asleep, but my new one doesn't do that :( This app is a godsend and lets me get the level of quiet I need. Thank you for making this, it really helps <3 Edit: never mind it keeps giving me noisy ads now every time I open it and I hate being interrupted with video ads when I just want my youtube vids or music to be quieter. Why would you do that.
