The app really works! It does raise my volume, which is great. I like being able to close it out of the active apps window, and allow it to work in the background. However, it must remain in the drop-down window, and because it generates ads in the background, it uses data unnecessarily, and battery. Also, I have to frequently reopen the app from the minimized state in the pulldown window, because the amplifier will occasionally stop amplifying my music.

This apps does amplify the sound, but only works when it wants to. There are numerous times I raised the boost level up and the volume does get louder, amplified, without the phone system volume going up at the same time. That is what we want. But there seems to be a hissing crackling sound sound in the process as you raise the boost level higher, which is annoying. This happens on some phones when tested. Fix the inconsistency boost and hissing background of this app asap.

Very good app! Does just what it says, it increases the volume that the phone can go/send out. Just dont go too high or you really can damage whatever speaker you have hooked up to it (and probably the internal phone speaker as well). I set mine to only 15% boost and thats perfect for what I need, when I went higher it caused distortion.

Great app when it works. The app used with work with musixmatch, Samsung Music, and other music players but it hasn't for the past several months. It's really annoying because the phone volume on my Galaxy S8+ is low and I need to amplifiy it when listening to music. Hopefully this will be fixed in future updates. I'd really like to use my favorite music apps with the booster again.

It works, but not well. It boosts the volume, but anytime you pause your audio, it stops boosting, and you need to open the app again. I am on Android 13, and both the app and the app I am streaming audio from have unlimited background usage. This works a bit better on my older Android 10 phone, where it would work for a while, and then you would need to restart the phone to get it to work again. Force-stopping the app did not work on that phone.

The app is small, no annoying popup ads, it simply does what is supposed to do. Set it and forget it. My Galaxy phone has good speaker volume but in the middle of a song it would suddenly, autonomously, reduce the volume by half, even though that safety feature was disabled.The volume control would still show 100%. My attempts to determine cause were unsuccessful. I had used this app a few years ago and was impressed. I'm using it again and am still impressed!! Thank you for the great app!!!

I'm super satisfied wigh this app! My issue with volume was that youtube videos don't always share a consistent volume, which obviously I want to be loud. When a track I'm listening to is softer than most others, it bothers me. This app, solves my issue of the inconsistent youtube video volumes; the app runs like a harmless overlay atop whatever you're doing and doesn't interrupt, it's a single slider that amplifies the volume by percent, couldn't be more simple! Love it.

It definitely works, I wanted a volume booster for my headphones (Skullcandy crushers) and it works good. Just a warning to those who either have a pair of crushers or headphones in general, I'd limit it to around 20% because you don't want to stress the headset much. Other than that, it works great! Gives a nice boost to the volume! Would recommend 👌

Seems to be working fine for me. Just bought a Moto G Power 5G 2023. The stock volume increments were changing by 7% steps and I couldn't get a comfortable volume from my Bluetooth speakers. Changing the speaker volume was no help because I think its volume control is slaved to the phone. I just installed the app today, but it allows 1% increments, and has a 'boost' feature that I don't think I'll use. If anything changes, I'll update the review. Google really needs to get their ship together.

Something is wrong with XT2165DL Moto G Power volume where 0-70% is practically silent, then the last 3 volume up presses go from low to medium to maximum. So essentially the phone has only 3 volume settings. Setting this to 20% boost, let's me have back the wide range of adjustments phones are supposed to have. Only playing out of 1 speaker is also an issue, but this app is good enough. Thanks.

Almost NO AD'S Almost call it Ad free One small 2 second long banner ad when you start the app that you will not see again until many hours later when the app run timer shuts the app down and you have to restart the app. Works the best. Works oneverythingg audio, yes includes youtube and anything else you can think of. I have found nothing that it did not work on. Thank you to the developers for not being greedy and adding lots more advertisements like so many other apps.

If you are, simply, hard of hearing or your phone speaker is just not loud enough, I highly recommend this app. It does what it says! No EQ, no BASS BOOST, no theater or surround sound. THANK YOU, and well done. 👍👍👌👌😘 FAST FORWARD 4 YEARS: and I'm still using this app. Sometimes it quits boosting volume, but I just un-and-re-install, and it fixes the problem.

One of the few volume apps that does what it says on the tin. When it works, it works great. however there are a couple quirks when I'm using the YouTube app. Firstly, anytime I change a video. the app stops working. I have to go back into the app a press stop service. That seems reset it. Which leads me into the second quirk. Anytime a video pauses, even to load, it does the exact same thing. Also YouTube shorts don't seem to work at all.

Out of a # of others I tried (even w/ very high feedback & downloads) *this one instantly clicked for me the most! Used another volume booster/equalizer for years but no longer available. So far, very clean, no frills/non excessive (useless, junky) features; user friendly, great sound quality & stays connected/linked with my music player most of the time!

Works so far on my phone. I'm just keeping it to 10% boost, it seems to be enough. I'm also using this with Samsung sound assistant for individual app volume control while boosting. I'm really glad there is a setting to adjust for a boost limit. I'm keeping the limit to 30%, but I don't think I'll need to use 30%, it's mainly in case I slip on the slider. I also tried this out with Samsung Dex for the convenience of volume control and it works well.

A great lil booster. User friendly. Extremely easy to operate. Basically push the on and off button. No equalizing to balance out. No pop up annoying ads disruptive stuff. I had a device a couple years back that had issues with this booster suddenly stoping. After that device I've had installed this app on a few more devices including tablets and other phones from friends and family and have had zero issues. Basic and simple as it looks. Could be an Apple App because it just works..lol

I think it could actually blow my speakers! Haven't made it past 10% yet. Update: I didn't used to have to be on the boosters' page for it to work, I could do other things on my phone. Not so much now, and it crashes a LOT. It's been great when it's working, love it. But the inconsistency recently has been disappointing and frustrating.
