The website forces me to install the app, but when I open it, it says 'Application is not available at this time. Try web version.' However, the web version won't let me proceed because it requires the app. It's an infinite loop, and I've been stuck for two days without being able to check in.

The previous app barely worked, it was awful but it delivered, it was somehow useful. This one doesn't even open, support team didn't have a clue after 3 calls and 25+ mins. Even when I didn't expect anything you guys still let me down. I'm not a bot :)

After the update, it's so lagging when trying to search for flights prices. It doesn't work . I have to close it several times to make it work. Why putting an app that doesn't work. Clients will get inpatient and search somewhere else. It worked 1 or 2 times... now it's totally frozen.

Doesn't work. Ever since version 2.0 was released, launching the app only ever gives the same error message: The application is not available at this time. To continue, please try again or visit our website. It's been like this since launch. It's the same on my phone and my wife's phone. We have stopped flying Volaris and started flying Viva instead because of Volaris's broken app.

when it works its great but ran into a bug trying to upgrade seats and it just spins and spins with no timeout. you have to close the app then those seats are locked. try again and same issue. only solution was to use the website to pick seats then use the app to check in to those seats. very frustrating to lose the one i wanted. if people have to use the app to check in it has to be a rock solid process.

This app sucks! I updated the app and now it wont open. It is forever stuck in the load mode. If Volaris is going to make it this hard to book a flight then I'll just do so on one of their competitors which there are many from the United States.

Doesn't work on GrapheneOS due to unnecessary Play integrity checks. Can't check in without the app. When you finally get the app running (on a different device), it forces you to scan your passport and won't let you enter data manually. Terrible experience.

First time flying with Volaris and the process of checking in is ridiculous. First you HAVE to download the app, there's no website check in. Secondly, you can't type any information in, it has to be scanned. While I appreciate the ease of scanning, both options should be available because I may not have the physical document near me but I have the details to input. I'll update once I fly.

On my outbound flight I checked in using a WhatsApp bot (so cool!), at some point during the week they decided to remove this AND online check-in (even for desktop browsers!) now FORCING me to download this (it's the only way to check in now as far as I can tell). The app gives itself Ad ID permissions too - its just another data harvesting tool I didn't ask for and provides nothing useful that the website didn't do already. It gets one extra star for working properly (the bare minimum)

Terrible! I tried to check in on their regular web page,but you can't. You must download the app to do so. I don't need another app that I'm going to use once a year! After I had an issue with scanning the passport in which you can't input manually.A while after it scanned, but after they wanted to charge me for a seat, the system choosed automatically.Ridiculous!was on the phone with customer service over 30min to fix the issue.

Customers used to have the option to check in to flights on the website which was a million times easier than using the app. Now when you try to check in, it prompt you to download the app. Once the app is downloaded the only way to enter information during the check in process is by scanning your documents which NEVER works. It doesn't matter if you have a dark background, light background, an IPhone or Samsung it will always come back as error.

Volaris 2.0 should be sued for false claims. Even the legal terms of service claim you can check in online and via phone - nope! you cannot do it. It's a flat out lie. The ONLY way to check for an international flight is at the airport or via the APP. And the app doesn't work. AT ALL. Server error messages, can't connect to the server, won't login, try again later Hope the planes and pilots are better than the app and the absolutely atrocious customer service, because if not we're doomed.

Volaris is the most scammy airline I've ever been on in 50+ countries. They try to force you to sign up for v.club (annual subscription), basically impossible to say no, they cancel flights last minute with no information, and they make you download this terrible app so they can track you and send push notifications. I try to fly viva or aeromexico whenever I have a chance.

New app, New problems. Useless as usual. It was not possible to check in, it froze during the selection of the seat, and when reloading it expects payment for a seat that was not even selected, and can't complete the the check-in process until payment is processed. Again the app is useless as well for dual citizens. Non-existing customer service, useless chatbots...

New Volaris App sucks, constantly freezes or won't open, extremely inconvenient when you're trying to get your boarding pass AND the stupid Volaris website won't let you download your boarding pass without going through the app. That should be changed immediately, you should be able to access your boarding pass via the website without having to use the app, because the app doesn't work 90 percent of the time. old app worked much better.
