Absolutely amazing sound quality! The only reason I give it 4 starts is because no matter what I record, the first 20 seconds or so speed up and play as if I were fast forwarding it, but then goes back to normal speed. It's very frustrating, so I have to account for that time and just cut out the first part. Does anyone else have this issue?

Sorry, i am very dissapointed in your app, because it's now just started acting up! Also, whenever i start recording, as notification be off, it still show it's recording at top right, as if i intentionally put it there. I will give a lil time to see if it get's fixed before i try to uninstal/reinstall it, to give you time to fix it.. Thanks.

Great for recording music too! I like the way the app time stamps the file name automatically... Once in a great while I'll press record and it won't record, but it's not a big deal. I just have to stop it, and then press record again. I paid for the app so I don't get ads because I record songs for YouTube quite often. I'd rather use this than Band Lab as a main interface for some reason, I like this better. Sometimes I'll add effects with Band Lab later. Thanks for creating the app!

How the mighty have fallen! I've used this app for years, and today it failed me. It recorded 45 minutes of silence, and I lost the presentation I was giving. It's not my microphone, that still works perfectly. Tested it with other apps, and they all record fine. It's only this app that has ceased to pick up sound. It still "recorded" the file. But playing it back gave only silence.

Great for Journaling. My mind often works faster than my hands can write. This app allows me to get my thoughts down quickly without having to focus on spelling, spacing, punctuation, etc... Then later on, I ho back through and type it or write it out to process the details more coherently if needed. The share feature is super nice too for saving your files or transferring them to the computer quickly.

Works well. Took me about a half hour to figure out how to do some stuff. More record quality options should be available. Here's a great feature - The app records in the background while I video with my phone camera (Samsung) a really nice feature. Quick, easy, decent sound reproduction. AT THE VERY LEAST, Give it a test drive.

20240322 update, if you need to record in a hurry, it takes only 10 seconds to start recording. 2022 notes Fairly simple to use and enough functions to allow me to take notes while I'm working. It really works, it gets everything you hear, including all sounds your phone makes as well. One wish, set for or detect low audio level, allow to raise higher than what was recorded.

As a local journalist this app has been critical to covering government meetings and recording interviews. Yes you have some ads like with any free software but they're not invasive. Overall it does its job well, simple, reliable, intuitive, and what more could I say. I haven't encountered a single glitch.

One of the best and easiest voice recording apps Ive downloaded. You can store many recordings for as long as you like or delete them when needed. The sound quality is good. Playback is a breeze and labeling your recordings mks play back even easier. I hope nothing changes bcuz if it ain't broke don't fix it

Works as described & is my new life-hack app. I have a terrible memory and use this as an ongoing "Notes To Self" in order to remind myself later of info that might take too long to physically write out on a notepad. Also, it's phenomenal for security issues if you are in a scary situation; it will continue recording if you turn off the screen. This dev deserves kuddos!

Clear recording. So far so good. However, I recently attempted to record a very important conversation, and because a call came during the recording, the conversation never recorded. I changed my pause during a call settings. Will this fix the problem? I'm really disappointed that such an important conversation was not recorded because of a stupid phone call interruption.

This looks like the same app I had on my previous phone, but I suppose with upgrades it developed a very annoying feature. If I play a recording on my phone, I can't make it stop. Even if I close the app it will continue to play audio through all the recordings. So annoying I will have to find an alternative recording app.

I've been using this app for quite some time now and am exceedingly happy with its performance . One particular feature is I can shut my screen off and it doesn't shut off the app, it continues to record. Anyhow I would recommend this app to anyone needing to keep notes , keeping track of a schedule or for simple reminders thru out the day. Dj

Best Free Voice Recorder I've ever had! It's free, easy to use and navigate. The sound quality and reach distance is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't use any other sound recorder. Been happy with this one for years now. Would like to get rid of ads but the ads are not as annoying or persistently intrusive as they can be on other apps. I hardly notice them to be honest. Thank you for maintaining such quality and offering the app for free! I appreciate you.

After looking at a few other voice recording apps, this one is the best one since it can let me make mp3 or wav files without having to pay for the option to export it. Plus, it's simple and easy to use. The ads aren't that annoying, but you can pay a little if you don't want to see any ads at all. Sure the app could have a few more features like other file formats to export as or an equalizer, but the app does what it needs to do well.

I do not suggest this app, at least not until they fix it. If you exit the app & come back to it, it will either show the recording stopped altogether or will show that it's still recording but when you go to replay the audio there's nothing but silence. I have very important recordings & this app captured maybe the first 2 minutes of audio. The recordings are useless. I am so frustrated. I've used this app for years & have never experienced this. I will no longer be using this app.

Yes, I just wish i could back up automatically or at all really. And solve the problem of inevitably changing phones bring the old data to the new. Very frustrating indeed. STILL It's a good app. Maybe I'm just missing something. Sometimes it switches the contact names up, strange. Still good quality recordings and I'll continue to use it. 😊 thanks
