Tutorial does the opposite of what I'm wanting, making me cautious to subscribe. I'm a woman with a deep voice, trying to feminize it; the app evaluated my voice as 62% male. Instead of lessons to lighten it, EVERY lesson in the tutorial is meant to deepen it! The celeb comparison matched me with women with horrible croaky low voices and tried to get me to change my plan to sound like them! When I see nothing to train for a higher voice, I'm hesitant to subscribe, even with a trial.

Only 3 stars because it incorrectly identifies pitch. It keeps telling me my lowest pitch when speaking is 92hz and my highest is 350hz, but when I check with another app I'm hitting 75hz on the low end and 150hz on the high end. I'm on a new Google pixel 7 so I doubt it's my phone. The exercises themselves are great and the feedback from the AI and other users is also very useful

The coaching is probably good. But the AI is a mess and completely inaccurate. I'm from California. The accent test says I'm either Aussie or English. I sound more like a surfer/ stoner. My accen5 should be kind of obvious. It's certainly American at the very least. And my vocal range is bass/baritone. It got Baritone right on the singing test. But when I went back and sang only bass notes, it said I was a tenor. AI needs to progress a lot before these tests become any sort of accurate.

To those who say you are forced to buy a subscription/trial, this is false. Those people just don't know how to look. The ads you are seeing will always have some sort of close or 'X ' button to keep progressing without buying. As for the app, I have not tried it yet other than to see if the people leaving reviews were just another small mind type or if it were true. Also, subscriptions are usually managed through Google Play, and if not, you probably just fell for an ad.

So far I've been using the app for ten minutes and I'm already frustrated. The record button rarely appears to record my voice before and after a lesson, and the one time I was able to record, my recordings don't appear anywhere, just a blank page. Which renders the app pretty useless if Im not able to review my recordings before and after. I've tried restarting the app, I've tried to force stop and re start and I've tried clearing cache and problem not fixed

Was drawn to the ai aspect. There is lots of good information on here and I love the inspirational loading messages, but it feels directionless and not very intuitive. For $79/mo it'd be nice to know why techniques/exercises are being recommended, and to choose technique focused lessons. If these are personalized based on ai analysis then there needs to be a better job done driving that point home. But for now I feel like there's more benefit from watching focused vids on YT and TT for free.

I'm a long time user of Elsa Speak for my English tutoring classes. I thought I might try out this app, but got completely lost with all of the questions and no substance. I think the user interface is a completely mess. The only thing I understand, is that you have to pay $79 for a over year subscription. That was very clear, and the all kept reminding me. I was never able to try it out.

I've used it for about a week and it has certainly helped, but I can think of two things to add. Under voice evaluation it would help if people could say if your voice sounds masculine or feminine. Also, sometimes the low is much lower than normal or the high is much higher but I can't tell where in the recording. It would be a big help if it gave one of those graphs that show where your pitch is throughout rather than just saying what the high, low, and average are.

So once you complete the tutorial, you have to buy the experience. The different charts make no sense, and there is still "no data" to analyze after 4 day. Does not instill confidence in the rest of the app. I wanted so much to like this, but it's definitely proven it's not worth it. Darn. PS. Characterizing a more feminine voice as "flighty" and "uninspired" and "unconvincing" is incredibly disheartening. Please do better.

It is stuck on the subscription page and won't let you go back to the home page without a fight. The recording results is inconsistent and didn't record half of the words. The data doesn't make sense to me. If these are wrinkled out it seems to have great potential. I haven't been able to check out the features though since I'm stuck on the subscription page.

It doesn't work. You fill out the profile - and then after it calculates your program - it freezes at a screen promoting Premium membership, even though during the free trial one should have access to the Premium. So I couldn't even get into the app. I promptly canceled the trial & uninstalled. I was willing to consider the Premium of the App actually worked 🤨

After being able to use some of the exercises without restrictions for a period of time, each exercise will require a premium subscription, even the ones not marked as premium. While I would love to try using premium to change how my voice sounds, $79.99 a year is not a good option for me who A: Cannot afford such a price; and B: needs to take breaks in between learning. It would be nice to have multiple subscription plans or to require an ad to be watched before being able to use an exercise.

USABILITY: Biggest issue is that there's no way to manage your subscription in the app. The only way to purchase a subscription is to happen across a "free trial" page. Even so, I am getting an error "Your transaction can't be completed" on Google Play, making it impossible to even try out a free trial. SUBSCRIPTION MODEL: There's only a yearly subscription model for an app that has a 30 day course. EDIT: A yearly plan with only 30 days of content is not the "most value". Most profit maybe.

The idea of the app is great, but even after agreeing to the 7-Day trial where they will definitely charge you for full-year afterwards, you still constantly get prompted to do the free trial even after agreeing to it. There was a promotion for 60% off for the year so I went ahead and signed up and paid, and it still says I have a free account and it's still prompting me to sign up for the trial. Not only that, basically every cool feature is limited by this. Shame. Cool idea, awful execution.

Stuck in subscription offer page, only way to get out is to download a "force rotation app" put it in landscape and bash the "x" in the top left corner. The problem is, push wrong training and you get that message again. Any training you do that involves videos or anything you have to hit the arrow at the top right corner to continue and well, you guesses it, you gotta be landscape. Basically it's useless until they fix it.

I was never actually granted access after payment. Only the free trial works, but it requires your credit card information and it will automatically bill you (but then essentially lock you out). I enjoyed the exercises during the trial (and am seeking a refund, since I am unable to access what I paid for). I do have some concerns... My voice seemed to change, but it mostly became more feminine, and I am not sure why the app would make that the primary focus? Or maybe that was not what was inten

I think this app has the potential to be good but technical issues make it not worth it. I paid for the premium subscription (which is yearly) and am now unable to get some of the tests to work. While I am still able to record my voice the app has error every time it's supposed to analyze the voice. I have tried contacting customer service in the app but the contact support option has issues and never actually sends the complaint to support. There is no posted email to contact directly either.

Please note that users are not obligated to purchase the premium version of the app. There is always an "x" icon in the corner that can be tapped to close the payment window. And there are a limited number of free to try features, However, the app does not clearly indicate which features are premium, and I was disappointed to find that the feature I specifically installed the app to try was only available in the premium subscription.

I thought I would like this app, and I do. However, I am stuck on a singular pop up and cannot move forward, making the app entirely unusable and very disappointing since I was excited for what seemed like a good quality experience. If I hadn't gotten stuck, I would definitely have given it at least a 4 star without even finishing the set up since it was that easy to use. Unfortunately, I'm not able to put more than 2 stars if the app literally does not operate at all.

I feel that the original price is too expensive so I had to wait for a discount sale to purchase it after the free trial. Make it more affordable. After getting a new phone the app doesn't register that I paid for the full year.(edited. was able to log back in) The excersizes offered after you pay are not as good as the ones you get to test run. They need to add vocal warm-up videos to make this worth the cost. Probably will not Renew subscription.
