No need to change your MetroPCS voicemail number or to reconfigure your voicemail forwarding - Visual Voicemail activates for free at first launch. You can also upgrade to Voicemail to Text for a small monthly fee and receive all your voicemails transcribed into text directly in the application inbox or via SMS message.

MetroPCS Visual Voicemail may use infrequent, free SMS messages to communicate with the Voicemail server.

An Unread Messages widget is now included with MetroPCS Visual Voicemail. On most Android devices you can add the Visual Voicemail widget by long pressing on any free space on your home screen, selecting 'Add Widgets', and choosing the Visual Voicemail widget from the alphabetical list.

It's not been syncing for a year now and I am frustrated trying to figure out why. I've done all the permissions and settings this app requested but it continues to say it's not able to sync on a daily basis. I have to call my voicemail and write down the important ones that need my response. I liked that I could just save the message in the Visual voicemail for quick reference but I am not able to do that anymore. Looking for a different visual voicemail app with a strong reliable track record.

Barely functional. I only use it because two months ago, the (very nice) stock Android visual voicemail stopped working and I received a message that, from now on, only this visual voicemail app will work. It is a massive downgrade. There are not enough characters available to describe everything wrong with this app. Most importantly, it *doesn't reliably give me the messages,* so I frequently am asked "did you get my message?" and must answer no. I can't trust this app, and that's ridiculous.

Relied on this app for years Then it stopped working. I think it's been 5 updates since issues began and it has been hit or miss after each update. Just updated and it is still working. Edit: visual VM can no longer connect to my VM. I have to call to get my messages, so it is broken again for the last month, awesome! Oh, and after reading other reviews, I remember that I also cannot Demeter VM, app crashes every time I try. Finally just cleared cache, that will delete old msgs, in theory.

I love the ability 2 check msgs directly from my phone, & access msgs when out of range or if my service is inactive. No more worries of losing msgs I cherish (niece & nephew singing HBD); I can export as mp3, save, share, even use as ringtone! »(*Not on MY phone! Apparently the feature that shows msgs as text isnt available or something. Although in certain situations the feature might b convenient, I've heard that the transition isnt at all accurate & can b hard 2 decipher.

Was working just fine, until the update. Now, I'm constantly getting a error message: "We're sorry, we're having difficulty fetching your voicemail. You may need to open the App and manually refresh your inbox, or dial 123 to listen to new voicemail." I tried doing this 3 times; and afterwards, I got the message: "Try again later"... Worthless & Annoying!

Great app supplied by MetroPCS by T-Mobile. Only problem is you have to continually manually refresh it!! It gives an error message saying something like we're having difficult fetching your voicemail messages, and you get an annoying notification every 10 to 20 seconds which requires you to open the app and try to refresh the it!! Geesh. Wish they could get a good fix for this!!! Other than that happening, it's a great addition to the phone!!📱Update:. August 2020. Still having the same problem

One of the best, free voicemail apps that I've used. It does cost if you want to see the voicemails typed out in front of you, but that option was unnecessary to me. I just hate having to call my voicemail, listen through the promts, press a button to save or delete the voicemail, etc. It's tedious and impractical. This app fixes that. You see each voicemail, have the option to delete/mass delete, are able to set up your greeting, all while not having to sit through an automated recording.

Used this app for years.. It Needs to go back to wherever it was before the update or find the problems with the new version. Currently: Very annoying Previously in working condition: Fantastic!! I absolutely love seeing my vm's in a list and being able to choose which one to listen to, being able to pause, jot down the info in the message, rewind where I need to go back to on the time elapsed bar. Wonderful App Again when it works properly. *Please either fix or go back to previous version

Used to work well. Now, it constantly sends an error that it cannot retrieve my voicemail and I could NEVER utilize the feature where you can read the voicemail, rather than listen to it. I've looked for updates but it shows none are available. I've reset my phone thinking it was me and not the program, however, it continues with the same problem even though I do not have a voicemail that needs to be checked. Very annoying.

I have been a Metro PCS customer for many years, and have used Visual Voicemail. it has been fine. Suddenly this week each time I tried to update my voicemails, I kept getting a "cannot connect" message. I knew I had new voicemails, since there were incoming call records. i uninstalled, then reinstalled the app. I was able to update my VMs. But now there is a "new voicemail" notification on my phone. I cannot get rid of it. Even restarted the phone.

The voicemail was working smoothly for a while. Later on I ran into an issue where it stopped playing any new voice messages. I uninstalled and re installed the app, but still same problem. To fix this go to Settings>Apps>All, select Visual Voicemail, and Clear Cache/Data, then Force Stop>Power off & Restart. Came on and works like it did when I first installed it. All in all still a good app to have.

Not working properly! I want to say Thank you and I appreciate them/you the Techs for updating all the other issues the app was having. It finally updated so I can listen to my voicemails on visual voicemail and sinks to. The only problem I'm having is the NOTIFICATIONS from visual voicemail, it doesn't notify me when I have a message. It's suppose to show a number on the icon whether I have 1 or 10 messages. It's nowhere in the options, settings or notifications? This needs to be updated for that option, the only way I know I have a message is by constantly checking it all the time. Frustrating, Arrgghh...! Please fix it...

It's a good app. Or at least it WAS. I no longer get new voice-mail. I try to refresh but it just wont can't sync.& I can't delete old voice-mail. The last messages im able to access are from last month. Please fix it soon. Ive restarted my phone,updtated my phone,& even turned it off & left it for a whole day. I'll change my review once it's fixed. Because it is a great and convenient app. I can see who left the voice mail and other details.& there's even an option to have them sent as a text

Constantly having difficulty receiving or opening voicemail. Currently It says I need to open the app and manually refresh my inbox or dial the voicemail number. It still does not work when I refresh it. When the app works, it is good. Another month and still having problems. I know someone else with same service, same app, same problems. I was going to look at a different app but Metro does not allow third party messages. Worst voicemail I have ever used!!

Terrible and unreliable. I have enabled notifications, of course, but they are not shown or turn up days after a message has been left. A voicemail will not be shown unless you remember to deliberately refresh the application. You will miss messages, and have no idea that someone has left you a voicemail. After numerous complaints, Metro PCS has done nothing to fix the application or correct its flaws. Still (in September of 2019) the most f___ed app ever developed.

Like others have said. It doesn't sync. For last year. I give it permission every time in the settings. Then it will load vm wierd. As if it's a virus. Now it won't even open or let me hear vm. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Losing saved messages and it still will not open. But I've been having troubles with all alot of the services from the company that are not working. Including the metro connect. They need to overhall the platform these are used on.

I hate checking my voicemail, but this makes it a lot less tedious. I appreciate this app. Edit: MetroPCS Voicemail keeps getting worse and worse! The irony is that I looooved this app... when it worked... which it hasn't since April 17th. My phone is updated, I've tried uninstalling, deleted to make room, etc. If you have Metro by T Mobile, you cannot use a 3rd party visual voicemail (with more features) such as YouMail. I wouldn't have even thought to look it up if my messages would sync. :c

Suddenly it's detecting a new sim card. I've had the same sim card for 2 years. To hear messages you have to put the speaker 🔊 on the app otherwise you can't hear a damn thing. It was working fine until some yahoo decided to upgrade it. Now l can't play my messages. I had to reinstall it, only to lose the saved messages l had of my mother who just died of COVID in January. And, it still doesn't work. A big thank you for that Metro PCS!!!

This app hasn't worked for the past 8 months, but Metro By T-Mobile has been charging me for it. I've installed all updates, cleared all caches and storage, have all permissions, deleted and reinstalled. Nothing. This app is useless!!! Update: Finally got to talk to someone who went through the complete troubleshooting solutions, they finally gave up and had me uninstall and reinstall the app. It for once, was working again...for 2 days. Is not working and Metro doesn't know why or how to fix.

Playback is horrible. And generally when I'd delete messages in the visual voicemail app, they'd still be on the cloud and I'd have to delete them again. Today when I deleted all voicemails in the app, it also removed them from the cloud, which wasn't what I wanted to do. The inconsistency of it all caused me to accidentally delete some important messages. UNINSTALLED. Just hold 1. It's easier and less annoying.
