Getting him dressed used to take forever with many stalling strategies being deployed. Now he runs upstairs asking for the "Countdown timer".
Watch as the timer runs from green to amber to red, helping the child understand that time is running out.
A fun picture is slowly revealed as the timer runs down and when the time is up the child is rewarded with an exciting sound and the picture spins.
Background image changes to match the time of day, so that your child is given subtle hints as to what time of day the task they are being asked relates to.

I love the different pictures to reveal. However, I use it in a classroom and I have to turn the volume off because I cannot turn the ticking sound off. It would be nice if there was an option for tick during and ring after or ring only or silent.

Too many HUGE, intrusive ads on Every screen. Need to click thru these at end of every countdown. So NOT SUITABLE for CHILDREN or anyone wishing to FOCUS. Stops and re-zeros if view other apps, even in split screen. Therefore, USELESS. It's a shame as very sweet idea. Unfortunately too full of rubbish to be functional.

The visual timer really helps with transitions from one activity to another and for teeth brushing. I did pay for the full version of the app to have the ability to add/customize pictures in the app. The free version works well too.

We started to use this timer when my 5 yr old and 3 yr old decided that chewing one mouthful of food needed to take 15-20 minutes. Thankfully, this app has made it so they eat all their dinner in less time! We now also use it to countdown playing at the park, brushing teeth, time watching tv, and so much more. This has worked very well for us!

Great for potty training my autistic 5 year old! He's nonverbal, but loves the ticking sound. I talk to him for the full t minutes it's ticking down. We try to guess the photo that's coming up. I give him hints and when its revealed I tell him what it is. It's a great little learning tool on top of inventive to sit still and go potty!

My adhd child loves this timer. The different picture and associated noise. Only downside is, when i attempt to purchase the premium package(add removal and additional pictures) it fails. I've tried 3 times, each time using google one touch pay, and each time it looks like it works but doesnt confirm and thankfully doesnt charge me.

It used to work well. Now it is a total fail. it is supposed to slowly reviel a picture at it counts down but it doesnt. it just shows the picture and has a ticking sound, then gives an alarm when the time is up. So dissapoiting. It used to be good but now it is worthless. I am off to find a different timer to use with my kids.

Amazing visual timer for children! Has been extremely helpful for many of the families that I've worked with who have children that are very impatient or have a difficult time when they have to switch from one activity to another without warning.

This is an amazing Timer. i use it because i have ADHD, im an Adult, and i keep putting off important but boring tasks untill they slap me in the face. Using this App i can set a time, and as it counts down i can see the color change thus i can keep track how long it actually takes. It motivates me to work with the color changing, showing me how time is runing ou When it finishes, i can decide to conrinue or postpone. Suddenly there isnt a ill do it later mentality. The alarm sounds are too jarring, and the ads are distracting. The app should at least be usable without paying for it.

It's OK for what it is but has a few bugs. If you select any of the pictures available and then exit the app,when you go back in it will have changed the selection to the "red car". This doesn't happen if random is selected. Sometimes after 1 minute, the ticking sound will stop. Doesn't always happen. Pausing and restarting it will make it work again.

By far the best option for helping my easily distracted 4yr old to get motivated. However, it really needs to be able to run over other apps, otherwise if sound not loud enough or too much background noise, it is missed. Also I WISH it was available on Samsung Apps for my older Samsung smart TV....as otherwise I have to find places to rest my phone for my son to see.

I used to love this app, I work with children and would use this throughout the day. This is the only app I have ever paid to remove ads on, and it was so effective for class that I bought a TracFone just to use this app, so nothing would happen to my phone. I used the timer fine at school without data, but it updated over the summer and now it won't open if I'm not connected to wifi. So disappointing. I could leave a TracFone sitting with a student, but I'm not about to do that with MY phone!

The timer itself is awesome and has been great for the kiddos I do therapy with, however, the ads are often louder than the timer and send my kids into disregulation. It also doesn't help that you have to wait for the ad to be over to reset the timer. I wish there was an ad free version. Otherwise, would be 5 stars.

See Below. Have loved and recommended this app. Currently the sound and timer must be disfunctional. The timer seems to count down but the sound and spinning duck do not trigger when the green/yellow/red countdown picture cover has elapsed. I did some trouble shooting and think I found the fix for my and other users display delemia. I have Developer Options enabled and switched "Animator duration scale" to replicate my and those whose picture shows at start. Set to 1x. Now functioning correctly.

I like the ticking sound it makes at every second. I like the picture display as kids can see if they are running out of time and the photo is different all the time. I don't like that the app has to be opened to hear the ticking. I downloaded this app on a whim and it was up and working in less than a minute.

I love this app! It is an Excellent distractor activity when teaching a child to wait. Ends in entertaining animation w/sound. You can gradually increase child's stamina for attending or waiting in 10 second increments, or longer. I have one Lil guy who knows after the timer goes off, he reaches for the item he was waiting for. Highly recommend it. I've used it for abt 3 years, I haven't experienced an bugs. Just need help logging into my acct. Ty!!

This is my favorite timer for the kids to use. Only one thing I would like to change. Please make a way for me to delete added pictures and any cartoons that I prefer not to have. Thank you for your consideration. Edited The recent update has given many more pictures to choose from. Thank you, however I would like to have the choice to delete individual pictures I prefer not to have. I will delete this app for now. It has been our fav for 6 years. Sad 😔

This is horrible, too many ads for a kids timer app... Edited review*** After testing and using many different kids timer apps, this is arguably one of the better ones. I work with kids with autism and timers help a lot. So finding a great timer app that gets their attention and makes it fun is surprisingly hard. The fee to remove adds is not bad, but the free version has loud and obnoxious ads that get in the way when I'm instructing a child.

It does the job. The ads are not good for kids though... You need to supervise them while the timer is running. Kinda defeats the purpose of the timer IMO. I'd like to use it to help build independence for my son, but if I'm right there making sure he doesn't click any of the ads, it kind of defeats the purpose. There is no way to buy the app or remove the ads until you open the app... What's wrong with releasing a separate, full version like 90% of other apps?
