Overall i enjoy the game. However, I do not like to play with others. And do not want to be forced to do so. Nor do i have a Facebook account and i don't want one. I don't mind so much having to work for the gems but it becomes a bit frustrating after a while. Videos don't necessarily gives you gems and its seems that too much emphasis is on it being a social media game. If that faded to an optional thing, it'd be awesome.

This could be one of the best games on android. Remember playing this on my OC years ago. Why one can't pay and have unlimited energy to do things is beyond me. Not enough energy to proceed, just to fix things. Such a shame. I'd happily pay for a version of this with levels.

Great game but too hard to earn diamonds. I install about once a year, play for a few days and then quit when I can't do anything without buying diamonds. I really wish they'd make it easier to pay without spending money or watching 10 ads in a row for a single diamond. It takes 6 to 8 diamonds for the smallest of buildings.

What a stupid idea to have Energy for everything. And removing buildings for a price of a diamond? That's a bargain. Plus, it's not adapted for wide-screens. You can play it minimum for a 10 minutes, then - no energy and you can't do a thing. A lot of ads of it's own apps. Social tasks are stupid.

Still very early in the game, but so far I have been pleased by the number of buildable assets available and the various degrees of customization that are expected in a city building Sim. However, I have already found some evidence to suggest that this game may become very difficult l, if not impossible to advance beyond a certain level without dishing out money. I have already run out of money and been prompted to pay for additional credits. I can wait to earn more, but down the road idk

Used to play this game years ago and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, upon coming back it's not the same. Someone must have gotten greedy because the game is littered with micro transactions. Literally within the first 20 minutes of playing you'll either need to wait it out or pony up some cash. It's infuriating because the basic gameplay and mechanics are solid. If the game was a couple bucks off the top it'd be solid, but that wouldn't make the developers as much money. Sad

it's definitely one of my favorite games and I seem to always have trouble trying to stop playing it other than that it won't let me open the full map when I get close it will kick me off the game and then everytime I try to play after that it won't load up it starts to then when the load bar reaches 100% it kicks me out again does it everytime so far but I still enjoy it while it let's me play

This is the best game I played so far, with the off-line system so you don't lose progress while it continues to always has me coming back every day and night playing the game any time I get. It's fun and exciting with the buildings and layout trying to build a empire tycoon. I recommend it for people who love empire building games

I love playing this game. It's relaxing, fun and helps with management skills. Only issue I have is these timed deliveries, sure it's a challenge but they are impossible to complete when all of your required materials dissappear. You have thousands or hundreds saved than poof, one content made and 1100 resources gone. So now your down to basically nothing and it makes trying these times challenges impossible. There need to cap materials stored or a better way to produce the timed material.

The game is great when you have enough energy in it to do the things you need to do, you have made new ways to earn diamonds which is great, you cant excell in this game without them. the one star is because you have to watch 10 ads just to receive 1 diamond, now i know you rely on ads to keep the game free, to make better improvements etc. But 10 ads for just 1 diamond is ridiculous , sorry, but it is, i hope you can find a way to be able to improve this then it would be 5* all the way.

The game play is ok but it's diamond hungry and energy draining you can only buy land with money and diamonds, you can upgrade buildings to a point and after a certain level you have to spend....yep, you've guessed it, diamonds . You have an option to watch ten adverts of games you'd never play just for one diamond. I'm going to have to uninstall the game as the progress is too slow and has little satisfaction for me.

Wonderful, I finished the old version of this game twice a long time ago and loved it. Was happy to rediscover it and was not dissapointed. Everything as expected: Take the worst game mechanics and add them. Slap a predatory in app purchase system on top. Horrible tutorial. Social Media tie in and so on and so on... It's a textbook example on how to take the fun out of a great game. 1 star for destroying something fun and entertaining.

Basically, it's a good game. I love the bright colors, nice visuals. Thx! In Terms of gameplay, i have several recomm-ns. 1: player can't rotate screen. So, when u need to remove road, or trees behind a tall building - there's a problem. 2: it is not nice that a player don't know how many levels are left until each building's next upgrade. I would like to see this on the building label. Say "30 Diamond to unblock Or wait til level 50". 3: diamonds! Impossible to get, or to play w/o them. Luv u!

Update: game still freezes when you get to a certain level. Since no one has given this game an update in 2 years I'm uninstalling-again. Guess g5 is spending our money elsewhere I downloaded this year's ago but had to Uninstalled due to freezing. Trying it again. Graphics are still great & its nice to see the changes

I think this game has lots of potential, but there are a few problems. For one, energy. You'll need energy to build but it takes way too long to receive energy. And even then, you don't get enough. Another, diamonds. You need these to remove hills or buy expansion but its too expensive. Lastly, the wheel of fortune. It glitches all the time with me by spinning infinitely as soon as it lands on something.

Originally gave 5 star, The game itself is good, but it takes me 20 - 30 minutes to get past the loading screen, LITERALLY. I refuse to play and spend any more money on this game until this gets resolved. Another suggestion for improvement, Sim city has a very interactive view of their city. Allows me to rotate for better view for hidden buildings etc. feel free to contact me.

Some buildings won't upgrade even after paying to have them upgrade. They take the money and energy, but stop upgrading halfway through the process. Otherwise enjoyable. Update: 4ish years later I came looking for Virtual City 2, which is no longer available. I downloaded this again instead and its just not very enjoyable. There's too much waiting, even early on in the game. Please bring back Virtual City 2, or make a 3. I'd pay for it upfront just to play that again.

Be sure to not spend any real money on this game. The game is just fine up until you get to a certain point where you have a large city then the game starts crashing during loading and won't open on any device so it's no longer playable and your only option is to delete and start over. Customer service is non existent, emails are never answered so problems remain unsolved.

Love the game, one thing ruins it completely though. The fact it is built like an EA game (pay to win) ruined it. I mean the energy and diamonds. Without one thing that takes hours to get a small bit of is the only thing allowing you to play and do anything. And then diamonds. One thing that is REQUIRED to expand and remove mountains. You run out of space because everything is at least 2x2, you need 8 things that are 2x2 for one product and you can't expand because you don't have any diamonds.

I love Virtual City games. This is a good version. I just don't like how I have to watch 10 ads in a row to get 1 diamond. It takes 20 diamonds to expand the land and there are about 100 expansions. Without paying cash, do the math on that. There needs to be easier ways to earn diamonds besides watching hundreds of ads with little payback. Also, we should be earning diamonds when building different major buildings and attractions at least. It would make the game more fun.
