Vinted - Buy and sell clothes

It is v difficult to shop in stores where there are lots of items. Many items are repeat listed. Buttons are all over the place and not uniformly positioned. Seems very clunky and old fashioned. It would make more sense to list favourites at the top when you want to buy more than one item instead of having to scroll endlessly and hope you can find the item. The filters work well usually. Some pictures are blurred or discoloured but there seems to be no quality control. It badly needs updating.

Generally good app/retailer but the system is glitchy. There is often a lag with order updates being processed, which can occasionally cause complex problems. It's like they're trying to be efficient but their technology isn't quick enough to support that. The auto feedback feature, for example, is great in theory but can unfairly penalise sellers who've done everything right. It can be very time consuming to fix all this. Still though, great choice of items and good messaging features.

Love Vinted, have been using it to buy and sell items for a couple of years. Simple to use, easy to search, uploading is quick and easy, messaging and feedback features are brilliant. Vinted support also tend to be decent if you ever need to contact them. However, I'm only giving it 3 stars right now as the past couple of days of using the app, it's started popping up a full screen ad full ontop of whatever I'm currently doing, at least every 10 seconds, leaving it virtually unusable.

Love/hate relationship with Vinted. When it works it is great: a good range of items, well priced and easy to use. The lack of seller fees is great on the other side and the range of postage is nice. But when it goes wrong it is a awful and customer support does not really exist, they seem to just leave cases open in the hopes they will solve themselves and speaking to a human is impossible. Reporting listings is also mostly pointless and the removal of the orders subcategories is annoying.

Good app but last update made it very hard to see the base price without any taxes added. It's now much harder to tell which items are cheaper with decimals instead of round numbers. The base price is still there but greyed out and smaller. The good thing is that we can now see a portion of the item title in the item list but time is wasted trying to read the price...

It is a well designed app. Hope to see more countries in it later and more categories. It happened to me that I made some screenshots on my pc of how a mouse works and they took the listing down. It didn't matter how I explained it to them that the photo is not copied from anywhere. I also put up a listing of a home decor light, which they also took down. I showed them the screenshot with their rules about how a decor light strip can be listed, but again. The support didn't help this time either

First of all, I LOVE Vinted and the concept! But there are 2 things bothering me. 1) I want to be able to filter results per country. I don't know why they have to make it so messy that we HAVE to see Spanish results if I only want to shop in the Netherlands. Also, it's not good for the environment to keep ordering packages from abroad. 2) The app language keeps automatically changing to French, very unhandy, please fix!

My favourite app for 2nd hand shopping. Vinted is way easier to search than ebay or depop, and i like that you can see sizes as you scroll rather than having to click through to find out. I've never had a bad seller or buyer either. HOWEVER, about once a month it just decides to switch language to French. It'll stay like that until I delete and re download. I think it must be talking to my partner's devices because he is french. No idea what triggers it but it's annoying.

I enjoy using Vinted, but overall I find it a poor user experience. Recent purchases and sales are in amongst other notifications unordered, and hard to know the difference between 'messages' and 'notifications'. Profile description isn't readily available to a seller, so when I put 'Please don't message me with ads' sellers don't see and send them anyway. Tailors algorithm to one specific thing I looked at once. Sometimes converts app to French!

I did/do love vinted, but in the last day or two, there has become a major flaw and annoyance! When clicking on 'my orders' things that had been bought, sold, pending orders, completed orders etc. Were shown in separate tabs, so a lot easier to keep track of. Now they are just on one tab which you have to keep scrolling down/through to find them all!! Please fix this as it is making the app so much harder to navigate!!

Very good app to sell any sort of items you might no longer want, or to buy from someone else. It's easy to use, intuitive, and easy to receive and send your items. However, there's one major flaw that's been bugging me lately. Every time I make a sale, Vinted fails to generate my shipping label. It's been happening for several days, on various orders, and has not been fixed.

I would have given 5 stars, but my app constantly changes the language to French, feel like I'm back in high school trying to wing my way around. It does reverse when I close the app, but happens each time I use it. Other than that I enjoy the app, the category section can be quite basic meaning items listed under other options but not a big deal most the time.

This is such an easy way to buy & sell clothes! A couple of things to change: when buyers receive an item that is slightly damaged or not as described, they shouldn't have to pay for return postage & sellers should be able to partially refund payment; the ability to block certain brands. The app was updated recently with separate sections for bought & sold items in the "orders" section, but this has now disappeared. Please bring that back, it was really helpful to quickly track our orders.

Over the past few weeks my Vinted has been switching to French despite the language being set at English, and it's starting to get very frustrating having to either reset my phone or uninstall/re-install the app to correct this issue. Also, getting rid of the feature under "my orders" where it separated orders into categories was so disappointing. I found this so much easier and more organised.

It would have been 5 star except they have now combined bought and sold on the my oders section. Completed and pending orders can no longer be filtered which is a pain. Really annoying as it was great the way it was. Please fix. Otherwise, it is easy to buy and sell. Shipping and price point guidance are helpful, and if things don't work out as expected, refunds are automatic. It is good that sellers don't get paid until the item has been received by the buyer - incentive to send promptly.

TERRIBLE! I tried to buy an item on here, the seller told me that they did not receive a label for the transaction so she cancelled the transaction so we could try again. I re purchased the item and the VINTED team somehow believes that this is fraud/scam. I sent a screen shot of the conversation in an appeal and proof, but somehow they still believe that this is fraud. Unbelievable! I use Poshmark, Depop and Mercari all the time with no problems. Worst resale app I have used.

I've bought a whole lot off this site - if you check the sellers yourself for ratings, it almost always goes well (when there are issues, it's almost always been due to one of the cheaper shipping companies), and the extra fees from Vinted are quite low. Search function works well, too, and is pretty comprehensive compared to most sites' filter options. Have also gotten refunds from Vinted for items lost in shipping very easily. Overall completely satisfied :)
