Chop every tree, hunt rabbits and deer, stone and copper mining - resource management are a staple of every survival game, and Vinland Tales is no different. However, we threw away the hunger games in favor of a replenishable health pool so you can start every game session on exploration instead of just preventing yourself from dying.
🏕️ Build your own Viking colonial village
From setting up your first camp to building an entire Viking village, you'll be pretty busy making a home for yourself and all the rescued clansmen that turn up to settle as workers. Manage their resource refining jobs, build houses and enhance the settlement with wells and defense structures.
⚔️ Sharpen your axes
Craft your weaponry from a selection of clubs, swords, bows, spears and more. Upgrade them to make pointy ends even more pointy, embellish your craft with gems and their attributes, and poke around at the armies of the Ragnarök, bandit bosses and other generally unfriendly folk.
🗺️ Explore Vinland and its harsh nature
Dive into dark medieval history and unravel the story of Leif Eriksson, known as the great Viking explorer; lead the siege to the strongholds of other survivor players, or build the mining shafts and worship sites for Thor and Odin. Crafting history has never been more fun!

The game needs to help more when it comes to fixing weapons and tools. Also, it would help to know what to pick up and when to pick them up and what some of the items are for. Thanks.

Ive played the other games so it will be fun see where this goes. The game also currently does not have many quests that can allow you to gain currency like the other games.

Has potential, but needs alot of work. Should be more land to open up and visit . The crow birds are so hard to get as events only seem to appear like once every 24 hours. Would be helpful that when on Homeland and building the items in storage should automatically be able to use rather than having to walk to the Box each time it's needed. Sometimes the directions are also alittle of when trying to steer your person on Home land. Have also noticed sometimes when eating it takes my health down n

P2W, Slow and Boring. It's a good game but needs a lot of improvement. Drinking water is useless. I level up faster than I can afford to buy new things for the village which makes it annoying. I like grinding but due to the waiting, it's extremely slow and boring, and I end up not playing for days. A lot of materials like rope and cloth are extremely hard to find in early playthrough.

love the game, but the only problem is that the stamina is used to fast. I would also like to add that the game only works on wi-fi and not the phone 5G network. please update game and fix it 🙏

Dire game. Can't access inventory to craft, item needs to be in your backpack. Won't give the map parts required. Like all these games the food to heal ratio is astronomical.

Tutorial is terrible it tells you nothing you need to know. Resources are way to scarce, building have no names so you have no clue what they are or what they do. After you spend all the time to collect enough resources to fill your inventory you can't store them you just have to throw them away. Not a well thought out game.

Stopped working after update. Gets to title screen and says there's an update but I already updated. It was working fine, then after the update, it kept redirecting me to the app store. I un-installed and after the reinstall, it still wouldn't work

Progression is way too slow. Items for basic stuff like the bow is too rare to utilize, so you're stuck running around with a weak club and no armor for most of the time. Unlocking runes is way too Limited, Can't progress at all. Too many bugs.

overall game is great. graphics are gorgeous and I love that there's an auto mode for collecting resources. however, tasks etc aren't clear and arrow direction switches each time but you have to go back to the relic for this. Had resources for certain tasks but it doesn't seem to register. Also having to go back to a chest everytime to unload backpack was frustrating.

lots of fun!!! needs a pause button in a big way...once you start playing, you can't look away or your dead and lose everything!!! edit..about a month in..I'm a grinder, but this boyond reason..when you think you have it, nope...

The game is really good, nice gameplay and controls, just that it needs some improvement in areas like mapping and sneaking, but apart from those, it is a very great game to me.

The help is useless and irritating. Some of the ingredients are impossible to find or even guess how to make, the cost of getting building designs at the Oracle, forbidding. The guide is cryptic, no clear instructions on how to do things, and there's some local hero that puts you out of your misery in 2-3 seconds. Only plus is that you can die as often as you like without losing your anything. After reviving, you only need to get back where you died, to find your stuff lying there.

Graphics are minimal. Info on UI is almost non-existent. Stuck on building scout tower because the needed "untamed ravens" item tells you nothing about how to obtain it, and it shows nothing like that on the map. Items degrade pretty quick also. Still needs a lot of work.

You can only play as a dude, which sucks. Armor is basically useless because it wears out so quickly. It's impossible to earn enough materials to unlock the recipes you need to make good progress. It's basically just a grind for low resources to survive without ever getting further. You can't eat raw food to heal because it kills you instead, but it takes forever to cook food and takes a lot of resources. Never ending grind that feels like getting nowhere.

Played 3 minutes and uninstalled. a clone of 99% of the "new" games. fight battles, build your camp, upgrade gear (repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat......). Please devs, come up with some new ideas. I have 50 games I have already uninstalled where my camp is at level 4 & I realize how stupid the game is. This auto installed. Don't bother actually installing. It is exactly the same as a thousand other games (that aren't 4 years late to the party).

Looks good. Very little to build without paying, and nothing drops from battling. The best part is a personal village with names and traits, only found 2 villagers out of 25 that had any skills, but I could see building it up to 50 plus Vikings. Needs more drops or a faster way to learn home builds. Melee dance is really bad, even collecting mats awful.

Loving the game so far. I enjoy passing time by running around and collecting resources and killing monsters. However, it seems like there isn't a lot of content. I've maxed everything out and unlocked all areas to my knowledge but can't find yellow flowers to move on. Maybe its a level thing? Idk but I'll probably keep the game around to check where it's at now and then. Fun game.

Just installed and haven't done to much on it but so far it seems similar to other games of this genre with the exception that your building a village instead of a base. you can recruit NPC's who seemingly have skills and functions, although I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm not sure why people complain about it being P2win. I see no crazy things in the shop as far as grinding goes, these games are always grind intensive and there's a auto function. clearing debris cost silver? -1 star.

This is a re-rating as I initially gave this 5 stars. I don't mind the grind and as I kept going I even dropped some $ into the store. The problem is that you hit a wall after a very short amount of time playing and you end up wasting resources and $ to get gear and more resources. there are only a few quests and places to go. This can't be a finished product, it's more like it's in the alpha test stage. This game has potential but it left me frustrated and disappointed.
