Original (7/17/21): It was awesome until July 14, 2021. The previous day when I had the update it was ok. However, the following day I had to delete it because of the choppy editing tools, especially the text. Everytime I entered text, it came out huge and I couldn't shrink it. Please fix this or I am not downloading this app again and I will proceed to use something else. Edit (11/20/21): They seem to have fixed it, not the best but it works pretty good. Thank you a lot for fixing it.

All around pretty great. It could have clearer lighting tools, such as it does have exposure or highlights, but it has brightness and contrast and shadows, so lightening something up, just makes it mostly grey. Also the color adjustment could be more in depth. I also wish the resizing had a preview clip and that there were more compression options and file format conversion options as well as more sharing/copy/revision options Lol. I know that sounds pretty critical, but it's a GOOD app!

I've been using the free version of Videoshop to edit TikTok videos since 2019. It's not glamorous, but it gets the job done and is much more user friendly than other apps I have tried. There's alot more freedom with how I edit my videos and audio, despite the limitations. Only complaint is how the app will crash if files are too big/there are too many files, but this is to be expected when editing on a phone and not an actual PC. Also the watermark is so subtle, I don't even mind it being there

This is app used to be the business before the updates. Everytime they update it, something that used to make this app great is now under their PRO option which I get, but as a consumer, it only makes it less of an option with so many other apps out there that do a better job with more comprehensive control and cheaper. Text transitions, the length of their actual transitions is less than desireable and as many of the filters and the themes that were cool are now super gimmicky. Skip it.

i used to love this editor, but now just frustrated with it. once my video is saved, all of my sounds are different than when in editing. it's like I'm done editing and I have to go back and re-edit the saved video and slow it down a bit to get the precise sound where I want it. I deleted and reinstalled in hopes of fixing any bugs, but no luck. uninstalling and going to search for something that will save more accurately.

I have come across a few ideas I wish it had. Like the ability to layer photos onto videos kindof like picture in picture, or layer videos ontop of videos and see both layers play simultaneously. Otherwise it is easy to use and it does what it's supposed to! I have yhe pro version. I'd recommend getting it. It's inexpensive, alleviates the watermark, and has more text options. If you edit just one video per month the pro option is actually useful.

My old video merger doesn't seems to be compatible with my galaxy s7, but this is and doing a pretty good job. I can see what video I'm selecting and it's fast merging, to export your video to your folders thou you need to click on photo and to upload. the slide show can improve by showing how much time you have when doing the slide show. It can also improve by adding a single photo recording, so making my commentary easier. you have improved the slide show not limiting it to just 10 minutes is a plus i would give it 4 1/2 stars if i can, I would give it five stars if it could do the single shot video with no time limit.

Definitely worth the download! I loved it! It was easy to use, and had amazing menus! The menus were easy to navigate through, and I was stunned by the options I could use for editing my videos! I recommend this app to anyone who wants to edit their photos or videos quickly and easily without all the hassle others may have! Ads weren't even a problem for me! Worth the 5 stars!!!

Strange effects after compile. After I compiled the video for sharing the music no longer lines up to the video. When I share to Facebook it is ok (minutes the off music) but if I watch it from my gallery the audio is off from from the person speaking. When I view it in the app to try to fix - it's completely fine. Boo. Otherwise, it was pretty easy to use - just would like the final comp to work better.

So far it s been a great experience... later I ll be able to give another more accurate feedback. A year or so later, I ll say the app gets better and better, with useful and well placed updates, I find particularly great the splitting of sound from a clip, which makes it fantastic and efficacious for us teachers, at least for me. Transitions are also cool and easy to use, and finally, almost forgot (!) : the voice recording: a lot of time saved. And all the above is in the free version. S.P.

My review USED to be a great. the app was amazing. Now EVERY, THING, I, DO, gets retracted 5-10 seconds so all the timings are wrong. This bug doesn't appear until AFTER you wait FOREVER for the video to finish exporting. I exported it directly to YouTube cuz I ready went over the video and it was fine, but when I watched it after the video was uploaded, ALL the timings of the text, music, etc. were off. ruined the video I had worked so hard on I've taken away 3 stars from my previous review 😠*

Finally!!! I've tried so many apps and this is the one. It has all the features I need and it is truly designed in a mobile friendly way. Usually editing text and sound is a nightmare/not an option on vid apps but works easy here. Even the watermark isnt annoying as it's faded in and out for only a few seconds in the video. And you can edit vertical, perfect for IG tv!

I really loved this app when it was just $3.99 which wasn't a big deal, but came with all of the features. Now they want to charge monthly to have all of the "pro" features that I already had when I paid $4 for the whole thing on iPhone? Its ridiculous that its $39.99 for lifetime of pro,when I had it for way less. Honestly, they should change it back to being just $4

I think this is a good vid app for animations and edits, but this could be an add on, when doing just pics, it would be awesome if you can have animation to the image!! Edit: I came back to this app and if the file is too big when imported it causes the whole app to lag and I'm also trying to create a a video and importing separate files you can't merge then videos together. I hope that gets fixed soon.

Very awesome video editor. Allows uploads in 1080p 60fps. 3 second watermark at the beginning is very subtle and opacity is low so you never really notice it unless you search. Would've given 5 stars, but my only problem is whenever you want to upload a video, you have to be on the screen when it hits 100%. If you aren't on the loading screen when it hits, it doesn't download and you have to redownload it, which depending on video size, takes a pretty long time. Wish it would notify when done.

Does a lot of great stuff. Merges clips, trims clips, speeds up or slows down clips. Saves and sends to other applications successfully. I've been using 3 or 4 different apps to do what this one does in one package. There's some improvements that would make it even better, but I'm still very impressed! I would definitely pay for this app. Used on Samsung Galaxy Note 4

this app is great for slow motion effects, transitions and editing out parts you don't want or need. However, you can't use this app solely for all your editing needs because it does not allow you to add "popular songs" to your video. the app does have sound effects and instrumental music presets, but they don't ever set the mood of MY videos.

I use this app a ton, super easy to work with and results are great! The only negative is that if you are very attentive to timing (such as myself) you may get quite frustrated if you use captions or music, or really anything that you need things to line up perfectly. When you're in the app, things are great. But when you send it externally to anything outside of the app, the timing is switched (because there are no longer the black screens in between clips) Other than that, no problems! :)

I love it! It functions great! No dropped frames or skipping when saving. I do wish there was a better transition between clips though. I would like an option to fade sounds in and out. As of right now, if I make a mistake and have to clip, the sound stops abruptly and then pauses briefly before the next clip. It is still the best mobile editing app that I have found so far and easy to use!

7/7/18 Great app with plenty of neat features! From editing pics to vids & it'll be nice to have a larger sound effects & track selection but what's on there is pretty good also. UPDATE 1/18/24 This app was goof but now it's getting pretty bad you can't even add text to the videos which was 1 of the accessible tools also I paid for this app. Refund me my money if you're not providing me with the product I paid for!
