It works. I used an old cell phone to set it up. The cloud upgrade allows the user to check the recordings when the camera is activated by sound or movement. It highlights where the alerts are. Pretty cool. 👍

Edit: Previous issues improved, but now they've nerfed notifications, so you only get them if your device is unlocked. Which is really unhelpful. Review for app itself not service overall. I have just started using it on a freemium tier. One thing I notice is the app is very temperamental and camera feed often hangs or times out, force quitting and reopening fixes it.

The description claims this is free to use. But the app has to connect to a webcam (fair enough), and to do that, the Webcam has to be connected to the server. To use the server, one has to sign up to a paid subscription. I'm not bothering with an app that can't even follow through with their own basic assurances in their app description.

Tbh it was pretty great when it allowed you to essentially tunnel into your remotely hosted cameras without a plan. But given that I already have an AVR in a cabinet with network access I'd probably just go for something like ZoneMinder or Blue Iris now. That's not to say that this is bad software, it isn't. But, their pricing model changed and my opinion changed with it. It doesn't fulfill my criteria anymore so I've since stopped using it. If you already pay for it, it's a good app.

The app works well. however, to have any benefit other than using a single camera, you get to pay a high fee. Fpr instance, I have 5 cameras. They charge MINIMUM $5/mo per CAMERA! If it was a flat rate, ie $10 a month for up to, say 6 or 10 cameras, it would be a great service. But $25/mo for my small setup for the cheapest package?? Way too pricey.

Great platform for keeping tabs on my dogs and house while I'm away. Also works great as a baby monitor. The motion and sound alerts to my phone are super helpful. This app, the server, and the Windows 10 viewer app are all solid and have not crashed once in the few years I've been using it. The pricetag is great too, especially if you've already got a bunch of webcams laying around.

Sensitive Cameras I'm not sure what's causing as I never had any issues with my former system, but these cameras are triggering motion detection about every half hour or so. Maybe i need to look at sensitivity. Anyway, the app here is just a tie in to the Ivideon server app on Windows. This app was easy to use and understand, and it was easy to view my cameras, once they were setup. This app gives you the ability to turn notifications on and off easily, as well as viewing cameras live.

Overall it works well, the issues that I am having seem odd. the stream says archive, then going to live feed. with out the history. I have even installed the server on a PC, and still gives no history unless you have a Micro SD card in the camera. and even then, having a problem with the camera recognizing that the card is there.

I have been using this for over 4 years and the cloud recording is one of the best and has several options to choose from. I've purchased a couple of their Oco cameras but can easily use this app with other IP cameras even with my laptop camera. The app features are also easy to use and very user friendly. Their customer support is awesome, and they would normally get back to you even at missed calls specially when you leave a voicemail messages. Very satisfied!

I have used the server for years loved it. Worked with almost everything I tried. The only drawback was if you wanted more than 24 hours back you had to pay. Now they limited it to only one camera for free and you have to pay even if your using your own drive space to store recordings. Their are other free options that offer way more now. Thanks for making you application useless for 90% of the world because your greedy.

I run this on a windows 10 "stick" PC with a USB cam with integrated mic. Can view on Android phone. Polished software that just works. One of very few that are cross-platform AND will work behind a CG NAT. Only complaint? Cloud subscription prices might be a bit too high for the average home/hobby user. That being said, the free version (while having limits) is very usable and does not seem to have any crippled functionality.

i use this this app for my personal home security. Its simple, direct, and user friendly. Very easy to navigate and allows for viewing specific events without having to watch uneventful moments. only has to be set up once and I can turn my cameras off and on remotely(Huge Bonus) in app. I had a billing question once and support responded promptly and was eager to help. Go no further than these guys if you need reliable easy to use service.

Update 2019. I've had my cameras since 2016 and they simply work and work well. I have had a few software issues over the years and customer service is extremely helpful and they do their best to solve the problem. The winters get cold and I've had zero issues with my cameras working in the cold even down to a feels like -25 degrees farenheit. i just wish I could get all my cameras on the same payment plan for the yearly subscriptions but that's only minor issue. Keep up the good work.

Pricing plan changed a few days ago...now I cannot even access from within my own network from my phone (other than the single free camera). Looked at the plan pricing, and it is WAY too high for my budget. Maybe if they offered $5 to $10 a month with access to 5 to 10 cameras I could do it...otherwise I will be looking for a new solution. Sorry you had to change things up so drastically.

Glitch-littered garbage. I set this up for my webcam in my dorm in hopes of keeping my room secure. I connected everything properly, and I have high-speed internet too. I test the camera the day I set it up, and even set it up as a service- worked just fine. Now today I go and check on it, when my PC is on and nothing has changed; the webcam turns on, but the app consistently says it has no connection, which is complete BS because my connection is fast. As someone who works frequently with computers, I am 100% sure it is the app's problem and not my own. Let's suppose the webcam worked anyways, and I could connect- the app is designed in a very unnecessarily confusing way and it is hard to review clips of motion events, turn the camera on/off, etc. This app needs a complete rework. The simplest of things to do with a surveillance camera are difficult to do with this app.

Although getting support can be time consuming based on where support is located internationally the app is great when it is working. The free service takes a snapshot of only 10 seconds but sometimes it's not at the beginning of the motion so it can seem pointless at times. I like the real-time access but there is a 2 minute delay I've noticed. The motion sensor is works great. The talk feature for Oco 1 is great haven't tried it on my Oco 2 as of yet. Another plus is the price it's not too expensive. Overall great buy.

Wonderful app and service. Two way talking is supported through cellular data now. It appears the developers actually read my last review so good on them. Hopefully they keep up the good work .I'd recommend it to anyone and actually have several times. It's nice having peace of mind, keeping an eye on what is important, no matter where you are at. All this coming from someone that does not write many reviews. Well worth writing this one. Now I only wish there was a package that records 24/7 specifically for residential use. It would be cool for a solar powered set up with an oco camera platform. That would be a game changer. Thanks Invideon.

really great app! use it to monitor my 3D printer while I am not at home. the only thing that bugs me is the camera viewer orientation. If you press the fullscreen button the camera flips, but if you turn your phone to look at it then it will flip back the other direction! in other words, there is no way to view fullscreen which is really annoying! other than that, this app is simple and intuitive. I recommend.

App works great!Event notifications let me know when my son is awake or is moving in his crib. I recently changed phones and when I downloaded the app again it wasn't working. The support team spent a couple of weeks going back and forth trying to work out what was the problem with the notifications not coming up. In the end they were able to give me a version of the app that works and I couldn't be happier😊 I will say I feel a voice feature would really make this app five stars!!

Works very well except poor visibility at night. Audio allows hearing in distant rooms remotely. Tablet app version has option to select a limited area, such as a door or window, to trigger alert, so you aren't notified every time the cat walks by, for example. Connection with home wireless Internet was easy. Update 4 years later: It often does not record motion. It might record a bird shadow in the driveway but not someone walking there. When it does record, the recorded events last only 10 seconds or less, but the recording starts 6 seconds before motion is visible in the recording. So, if someone enters the view, you see them 6 seconds into the recording for only about 3 seconds at the end. Functionalities seem to change from time to time. In one camera I used to be able to select the detection area, but it isn't there anymore. I used to be able to open the recorded Event windows larger, but now when I expand the window, I can't view the event. Update Dec. 4, 2021. Ivideon support responded to my complaint and helped me to access the camera's micro-SD card recordings online. Their support people were fast and helpful, 24/7.
