This video player is THE BEST! Has more features and customization options that you can save or adjust on the fly than I can mention here with a limited character count. Allows you to save screen size, brightness, volume, etc. for each time you open the app. Even plays music from your device's library. Has a KILLER downloader that allows you to DL videos at 6X speed from nearly ANY website other than YT. Extremely easy to use, great interface, etc. Limited EQ bands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the absolute best video player. It has an interface that is easy to use, it shows directories of files stored that is easier to use than the native file manager, it has a black background with lighter colors on top, it can adjust brightness and sound of videos, and it can play any file extension format for an audible visual video. Now, I have discovered that audible visual videos can be more fun to see and hear while off-line than just reading and seeing an off-line book.

This was a great app to begin with but now there are wayy too many ads. Even though it was super annoying to have to close out an ad each.and.every.single time I open my playlist, I was willing to tolerate it so long as they were silent and didn't disrupt the playlist. But now, there are talkies which are much too intrusive and stop the music. Please fix this, and I may bump it up to 5 stars. As it is, I may look into other alternatives as it is getting to be too much. Just no noisy ads, thanks.

PRO customer. Accelerated playback at 2X speed isn't really going at 2X. I timed it. It's more like 1.7X. Also, accelerated playback does not work with Bluetooth. Background play also loses your place when you pause and close the app, and then resume later. Please fix. Love the other features. What about accelerated playback on Bluetooth audio? Is that supposed to work? It only goes at normal (1X) speed over Bluetooth no matter how fast the speed setting.

Unbelieveable! Excellent performance! Best ad format i have ever seen! This has become my go to video player, and I am hard to please. Had an ad free player that I already liked a lot (VLC), and I just replaced it with this one. VLC has become so buggy and unreliable that I will gladly put up with a few ad just to have a video player that actually works

EDIT: Subtracted one star because when I exit the app and then go back in to play my video again it restarts from the beginning even when the "resume video" setting is turned on. I watch long trainings with this player and I want them to start up where I left off reliably. Will change rating when I see this fixed. Original: Best video player hands down. So good that I purchased it just to support those who made it. Thank you! P.S. You should buy it too.

The shear simplicity and user-friendliness of the app rates it a 5 for me. It is unobtrusive, It does what it does and does it well! It integrates well with the OS. Whenever the choice screen comes up with a selection of various apps to play the video I just tapped on, I select this one 90% of the time. it is definitely a keeper on my Android phone! I highly recommend it. BTW, this is the paid version I am using and well worth the price. Nice job devs. Great app.

I am a media junky and between all my devices,old and new, it gets harder and harder finding a video player that will play it all. Well, this is the app! It hasnt failed me yet. IT plays any and everything that I want it too, it has a plethora of options for video and audio enhancements. And it is ininteruptable. Swipe up or down on each side for brightness and volume, and swiping left and right, scrubs you though the video. I highly recommend this app!

Really easy to use and versatile. Please add looping of the same video as an option. THANK YOU! they added selectable looping as I requested and ut's WONDERFUL! Pick your start and end points in any vid, no matter how long or short, and it will loop forever! Perfect for perfecting your edits or capturing that split second frame with their "Camera". Far and away the best viewer I have found. Thanks guys!

Simple. Beautiful. Works great. Edit 7/4/2021. Don't know if you guys did something (unlikely, since the last update was in May), or if it was all due to a corrupt video file or two, but the app no longer crashes. If I come across it again, I'll try being more detailed about it. The only peeve I have now is that it takes longer for the phone to wake up when the video player is running. :-( I could swear that wasn't an issue before the update.

Another update, this one without any description... Don't see any changes, except for possibly more ads. It does not include the deparately needed addition of music folder scan filters. Very sad. I'll keep holding off on purchasing until this is implemented. A good player with a lot of features like the late MX Player. I also like the new music playing feature. This is good for those of us who don't have a lot of music files to justify a separate, verbose app. The BIG problem is the folder filter doesn't work for audio files. I am seeing podcasts on music tab. That's frustrating.

Extremely happy to have found this app, after so much time and brain power trying to figure out how to format, fix and view (brand new) sd card for my new body/dash cam, I actually watched recorded video! Finally!! After buying it two months ago and after many attempts at using it, this app easily located and played my sd cards video. All I did was download this video player, open it, and my struggles were over! 😃

It's fine for standard video playing, but most of the features offered don't work that well. The audio goes WAY outta sync when the speed is adjusted, and when the double tap to skip time is adjusted to 5 seconds it doesn't skip at all but instead resets you to the same 5 seconds unless you skip a bunch, which way overshoots wherever you wanna be.

Bring back timer in the quick menu! Why would you move it to a menu function that you have to go through more steps to get to and you have to open the menu to see the remaining time? Lame. Way better before. There are links in the quick menu that are far less used if ever and the one that's used regularly you hid away. Bring it back please!!!!!

I purchased the premium app to make the ads go away. Since 2019 I've been happy until recently. I start streaming videos from my phone to the TV and lately they have no sound. I went back to start downloading the VLC app free version and it has never let me down and it's free.... Please fix whatever bug it is because I paid for the premium app with x player. Thank you... I hate I had to jump to five stars down to one. The problem just happened again today on June 3, 2024. I have screenshot.

Great app, I've one issue and it's significant. When in casting Mkv files Chromecast doesn't support it. This app has a conversion option and does warn that it gets hot. Id highly recommend not using this feature because the temperature gets to around 130°F with a phone with a built in cooling fan. It's just not usable. Great attempt but it's just not feasible at this time.

I've had this as my default video player/video downloader for years now and it's never let me down. Tons of settings to make just about anyone happy and I for one enjoy not just the variable playback speeds of .25, .50, .75, and 1.00, but even more so their variable size picture in picture function ON TOP of all other apps. The ads aren't so bad that I've felt compelled to trade up for the ad free version, but it's one of a few I have that I am going to subscribe to here pretty soon. Five stars!
