I originally rated this 5 stars but the last update came with adds galore. I think it's pretty sleazy to promote an app and then after getting numerous great reviews, start adding adds to the app. It went from an awesome app to useless ... I deleted it. Update: so I went ahead and bit the bullet and paid for the app because it was good. Now that I have the paid version, all my videos look awful. The videos play fine in other players and used to be fine with this app. I want my money back!

This DN Player app allows me to make an unlimited list of Playlist for my favorite videos & music. When 1 song comes to the end,the next song is played & it keeps going to the last song in the same Playlist you have created.Yes It plays in all formats. It doesn't have an equalizer but that's ok.Probally don't need one.I would recommend this app to anyone with an android phone. It may not work with all android but I suggest you try downloading the app 1st & see what it does...

THE VERY BEST IF I COULD GIVE IT TEN STARS I WOULD. I have searched for months for an app that will do what this one does. I love to listen to the Bible and this app plays the BIBLE verse after verse chapter after chapter nonstop and I can stop it and pick up right where I stopped it. I never been so happy as I am now. Oh yes it has all the other features also but this review would be a mile long, THANK YOU THANK YOU!! PS no ads.

This app is really great, it's easy to use and has many features like accessing your files directly from the folders, a good sound equaliser, song tag editing and so much more. Though there are features I will like to recommend to the builder's of this app when they are upgrading it, but not now. Thanks to dn player builders.

Works great! I had some FLVs that VLC Player couldn't play smoothly, and my bundled Samsung player wouldn't play at all. This one played them with no problems. The auto-rotate feature is smooth and reliable, too, no matter which way you turn your device. Well done!

Very Basic. Needs more work. Won't play ALL formats. I've got videos I downloaded that this won't play. I use 'playIT' app to play them instead. (so nothing wrong with the video files) Also no dark mode found - very much need that when viewing library list. Uninstalling as pointless keeping an app that on works on SOME videos.

DNPlayer is my favourite after testing a good number of its kind. Please introduce image clipper into the video main frame together with Back and Forward buttons in seconds. Android Floating Player is a very good innovation and it will be nice u add Previous, Next, Repeat and Shuffle buttons. Lock-display mode should be introduced, I saw a nice one with an Android Music Player. Configure this app to receive shared video and audio from other sources.

there is no way to lock the orientation, it keeps dancing all over, crazy this basic ability is missing

A great app that plays mp3 music tracks and videos flawlessly, imo. Also an array of colour themes to choose from. A lovely, easy to use and honest app, neat and compact. There isn't a thing about this app to not like. I enjoy it Thank you! ps - don't undo the good work in order to 'improve' it

There is a problem with the subtitles in Arabic, which appears in the form of strange symbols and letters. I hope to solve the problem quickly

App is great without any ads. ONLY two issues I found.. 1. Every time I play another video screen shrinks to default size i.e. if selected to Fill or Fit horizontal etc. its not working once we tap back and play next video or reopen app, please make it remember last settings set. 2. It doesn't ask to whether user wants to resume or want to play from starting for already played video, it just resumes from where left. Please fix that ASAP. Rest app is awesome.

Very well developed app in terms of smooth running and behavior. Efficient video play. Has not buffered at any time. Starts the video very fast. When the video finishes, the app shuts off and restores the user to home screen. High performance coding obviously. I'd like two things: I do not see how to make a playlist from my cloud storage app. I'd also like to be able to set the appearance of the subtitles in settings. Not available. But this app plays uncommon codecs and sees embedded subtitles.

I was looking for a player that could play videos at the backround, and this player made that possible. Despite that, all features are great. Thanks to the developer!

Edit: the newest update has ADS now and they get in the way of the pause and play button and sometimes wont go away when playing... rating dropped from max of 5 stars to 1 star, please fix ads or get rid of them or ill delete this app. I struggled to find a good video player to watch my downloaded shows on and I found this as a GREAT player with NO ADS only thing to make this better is to have a dark background not just choosing theme color but then I would want to make it a 10 out of 5 rating.

My default video player, solid with great options. ***only one fix is after i play a video it should bring up the option to either mark it for playback at the stopping spot or not, not just do it automatically cause I'd rather my videos start over most times, not have a bunch of videos that i started playing having playback markings. It should have the option in settings. Its missing a video playlist that you can arrange, move videos up and down like vlc does.

Would like to be able to select stop at end of a video as well but it doesn't seem to have this! Video is very clear on my Galaxy Tab A. Will be finding out shortly if .mov files are supported after transferring them from my Canon DSLR. So far performance has been exemplary playing from external storage which is where I keep all videos on my tablet. Currently on Android Pie you can now set this player to stop at the end of a video. The app DOES support .MOV files and plays them nicely.

Buggy on e5 cruise. Am I the only one who has problems with this app?!? I can't nav to my video list and select one. It won't play. The audio player won't allow changes to video file playback. I have to kill the app to go from audio to videos. I can't access the eq from videos. The notifications of what's playing are wrong. I can stop a video file and it will stay open to some random audio file. It's a buggy mess.

Did a good job of finding my video files and audio files located on my sd card and filling my library. The settings are somewhat limited. To use the system equalizer, your choices are off/on. There is no actual equalizer with the setting you can configure for personalized sound other than what is already on your phone. Still it was easy to setup and seems easy to use. Being able to customize two color choices is not that big a deal, still its pleasing to the eyes. So far, so good.

Simple and seems to work seamlessly. The video lock does not work. It locks it, but other apps still see it. The equalizer is a little weak, but it is there and you can save customs. I like that is has a visualizer for the music. It seems to do everything, and it is free! If I had a couple of wishes... You customize the interface a little more. Some have it where you can load in a picture. The choice of colors here is nice for the header and accents, no background.
