The connection with google to wake on lan isn't great. Google doesn't allow to wake by voice even if the TV is connected via ethernet cable and set to wake on the same network

--Cannot bring back the device from standby using VIDAA Smart TV app-- I do see the power button but it does not react. So I need to turn it on with the RC and afterward I can use my phone. Ridiculous...

A useful app that I can control, even from behind closed doors in my room. No need to point and shoot my conventional remote any more. Great app to install. Highly recommended

I have a Hisense 75 inch vidaa smart tv. The app works for a while and does not want to connect again once u come out of the app. I have the same issue as all the other complaints on this app not wanting to connect. I have a fix which becomes a bit annoying. Go into the phones settings, app settings, find the Vidaa app and press clear cache and clear data. Open the app again and login. Works fine after that but this is done when ever the app crashes.

Used to work a few years ago, then voice stopped turning on TV but will turn it off. Now it refuses to do anything via Voice except for the occasional turn off TV. Mostly says Vidaa or TV is not available and ro set it up, even though it says on the TV that it is connected. Vidaa App mostly says it is not connected but occasionally will perform a delayed basic function. App and Vidaa are about as useful and enjoyable as a bad case of Herpes.

App is unreliable, and slow when it is working. Not only is the app glitchy, but the TV crashes, freezes, and the audio quality sounds like a toy

I highly recommend it,I upgraded my TV to the latest version,when I went to the home screen,I found a QR code for the app,I scanned it,downloaded it, and signed in to the vidaa account,I loved the application it was very helpful,thank you for the application.

It's a good alternative to an actual remote. Ours broke and this app was helpful, but since its last update I encounter an issue where, let's say after loadshedding, it can't connect to the TV but on the other phone it can. I have to reinstall the app to get it working again. When the issues get fixed, I'll update my review.

This app brilliantly mirrors my physical TV remote, boasting both excellent functionality and design. However, it disconnects every time I switch off the TV, forcing me to uninstall and reinstall it to reconnect. This major flaw is a significant inconvenience. Fixing this issue would elevate my rating to 5 stars, as it's perfect when it works. Really hoping the developers address this in an update soon!

It's good and has the buttons needed for a TV however every few days it just stops working as in it won't connect to my phone anymore and it's not just me it's also my mum, my sister, and my brother so its not just me and its not the TV because its always connected to the WiFi and the WiFi is always connected. After it disconnects I delete the app because nothing else works and I download it again and it starts working. Furthermore overall its a good app except from the disconnecting problem.

No issues at all,I can recommend this app to anyone who has this typa TV,it pops up your device very fast,connects really good and is almost as good as your broken remote! Absolutely wonderful! Didn't take my gf long to connect on her phone as well,absolute blaze! 👏🤌

Unfortunately, this app is not compatible with newer devices whereas older ones use IR which is required, like a normal remote. I've tried using Bluetooth directly through it and even that doesn't seem to work well or at all...

It's ok I have one, but it crashes alot. I have to reset my TV alot and I have fast internet. They really need to update there system to compete with other smart TV's out there. I think it's a new system and it's American but built by China like everything else in the Tech world.

When casting, for example, a movie, it keeps on pausing, and one has to go back, connect again, and fast forward to where it paused. Kindly improve that aspect.

Not great, when it works it's good but it's forever unable to find my tv, so I either have to delete and reinstall the app or wise turn off Bluetooth on my tv which then freezes out the remote control so I have to unplug it so to me it's not with messing with until it becomes more stable and integrates better.

Very disappointed with the poor quality of the Internet browser. It cannot play video from sites. It doesn't have option to stay on current page or allow navigation to new tab/popup. Please upgrade the app to work like Mozilla Firefox. Thanks

I have only had a quick play First impressions are good. I had no connection issues and it worked well. Liked the fact I could play media from phone on TV, especially pictures. I agree there are controls missing in the remote window. Adding multiple TVs does not seem to have been covered. No device info. The personal details, even after logging in is poor as well. The App seems to consentrate on being a media App a bit like Sky Stream but doesn't seem to include catch up Apps
