I love the features that remind you of no ride zones and slow speed zones but there is a posted "no motor vehicles" walking trail. It is posted in multiple parts of Toledo, Ohio's Ottawa Park where I've nearly been run down by Veo motorized vehicles (not pedal bikes). If you haven't already, you might want to map that into the restricted areas especially for anyone that might have a slower reaction time.

This app really likes to crash on me at inconvenient times, the worst was when the app crash while I was riding and forcibly log me out. I logged back in but I had no way of ending my ride and had to wait until my balance was completely drained out even though I finished riding. Either way the service still works, it's not to hard to get a ride, (unless the app is being fussy), depositing money into the app kind of sucks since it's nonrefundable. Either way I think walking is less of a hassle.

Useful but glitchey. I use Veo to commute to work and around downtown. The results vary. Sometimes it's easy and convenient. Other times I'm stuck with a broken scooter, a dying battery, or overall just a sketchy ride. The app itself is straightforward but glitchey. It always gives random pop-ups when you end your ride. Probably to make you spend more time and more money for having the scooter activated.

When I created my account, I made sure to turn off the auto reload but they still charged me twice. When I tried to contact support, they told me it is my fault cause I did not turn it off. I think they purposely turned it back on without me knowing cause the same thing happened to my friend when he turned it off; it also charged him twice. So be careful of this app, especially if you have a budget...

Love the bikes, but the app needs a little work. It took us three tries at two different locations before the bike could be unlocked. My area had to be reset. There is an option to call for help, you ALWAYS have to leave a message. By the time my calls were returned 20-30 minutes later, I had already left the area. Yesterday, my geo area was messed up and it tried to charge me for an abandoned bike after Inhad returned it (and locked it) to where I got it.

We use Veo on our college campus. Yes the app is a bit glitchy, but it's a large, constantly running app, so credit where credit is due. Sometimes it's hard to find a working ride and some rides aren't operable. Most importantly though, if you report an incident to Customer Support to the app, they have a quick response time and will communicate clearly back which is so appreciated. There's room to improve, but for the use of college student getting around a big campus, it's working great.

Cool. A little pricey per minute for most ppl, should probably have 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, daily, weekly, and monthly pre pay rentals at a discounted rate. I'm sure if VEO talks to their financiers, CFO, and game theory economics ppl they can figure something out. Could be a way of capturing more long term income and offering a bit of a discount. Currently the rate of $22.20 per hour is a bit steep, it's a new system tho. Lets see this system nationwide, it's neat!

I tried about 25 scooters over the course of 6 months before one finally unlocked. Then when I finished my ride, I couldn't get it to lock up. I reported it, but after fighting with the chat bot for five minutes it just went back to the app and the meter was still running. No thought was put into it. It's a trash app, it looks like it was written for a high school project. It's super buggy. When I reported the issue, the keyboard covered up the text box so I couldn't see what I writing. Garbage.

I have a mostly good experience with the app but I feel like there is unnecessary steps with the technology to unlock the bike. The service tends to bog down around events even with 5G service sometimes becoming unusual. Second, ALL of the bikes and mopeds suddenly go "under maintenance" after a football game within a certain radius of the stadium. It's pretty scummy business tactics to limit access in this manner.

Very convenient comfortable rides, they climb small hills very easily which I am surprised by for such a smaller motor. I wish we were able to use our Google play balance for the app and the new monthly subscription as that would be so convenient! Would so love to see an unlimited monthly plan come out!! Just some constructive ideas here, the front lights need to be brighter! A lot of our local trails are dark and I'm always using my headlamp for more light, would also love to see a basket

App often will have connectivity issues, and with the electric ride you're charged by the minute. A few extra seconds is 50¢ more, and I almost always have to close and re open the app just to stop them from charging me. It's convenient (sometimes) but the rides are almost always under maintenance and it's more of a hassle actually unlocking and locking one than it would be to just walk where you need to go. This app could be way better with some optimizations to how/when users are charged.

V2.0 is a forced update to the original app, meaning you have to use it to even access a bike. However, the new app has poorly tested features and will crash even after the hotfix. The interface has also gotten much worse to the point of being inefficient with your time at best and an unusable mess at worst. Even though their support has been very responsive and effective, the consistently poor quality of the app since it rolled out is inexcusable for a paid service with a monopoly on bikeshare.

In theory this is a great service. Lots of bikes and scooters all over town, convenient labeled parking areas, and easy payment. However, I've had several issues in just the few weeks I've been using it. Several times I've been charged for 0 minute rides because the bike locked without my input. Customer service hasn't responded to those issues. When I've reported mechanical issues with bikes, I've gotten no communication back, and no refund or rebate despite having bikes that were unrideable.

I enjoy the veo app. The rates are good, the rides are ~typically~ maintained well, and I appreciate the variety of vehicles, but the $10 minimum has made it easier to use ANY other app. There have been several times when Veo was the best choice of transportation but the $10 minimum has led me to make another choice. It would be nicer if I could load the Veo wallet with an amount of my choosing, so that I could meet my specific riding needs. Today, I have to choose another app.

They charged $10 to load into your wallet. If you have issues, it's non-refundable! Not worth the hassle! Found a vehicle, started the ride but kept loading in the app. I tried to end it but I couldn't because the vehicle was in a red zone. I had to push the vehicle in a red zone to end the ride (while its alarm was going off because i was pushing it). I was never able to use another vehicle because they were all out of service. I had to go with the good ol reliable Razor!

For the most part, the bikes are very helpful and distributed evenly on my area. The support team has been fairly quick and understanding as well. However, several times recently I have encountered an issue when I start a ride. The bike moves for the first few seconds, then it power off. The app tells me I cannot park, because I am "outside the forced zone." I'm not sure what that error means, but it has forced me to walk the bike to where I found it, charging me in the meantime.

I almost never rate apps unless they're exceptional. Veo charges YOU for the flaws of their service - If one of their busted vehicles you rent refuses to "end ride" you pay for it until it runs out of battery ($36 after a prolonged correspondence to lower it.). Also, don't count on the ridable map territory being 100% correct, sometimes sections work and sometimes they don't, resulting in the possibility of riding a Veo to a location that's on the map and then being unable to "end ride." Scam.

Took over my city. I used to have a choice of which company to use, but this company kicked four competitors out of my city and failed to provide any equipment to the city. There is literally nothing here. I'm late for the sporting event and I have to walk 2 miles because this company is supposed to have equipment in the city and it doesn't. I want choice I want my city to get rid of Veo. Very inconvenient, Even if they do get it together and finally provide equipment, I can only use it at dock.

Everything is great. I just really hate the fact that they keep charging you until you click end ride. Sure it's a simple thing to do only when nothing unexpected happens. Had a family emergency and forgotten to end ride. A reminding feature would be great or auto end the ride if bike/scooter has been idle. Took the 20 I just funded and took more money from my card.

I have had a positive experience with the vehicles, I use them frequently. However, I parked the vehicle standing up on the sidewalk outside my house today, as I always do, and someone reported that I parked it incorrectly, prompting a scolding text from Veo. I cannot understand how to inquire with the dozens of help prompts, so I'll leave a mediocre review. If I can't park it on private property, a sidewalk, or on the street, where am I supposed to park it in a residential neighborhood?
