This app is just bad, I cant get the username and password to work. The app does not send emails to reset password etc. Just trash, I am considering moving companies, the money for the service is not worth it.

You can't adjust camera sensitivity from the app. So I get 200 six second videos a day. You can't select all and delete all the videos at once. If you go a few days without deleting all your useless (and poor quality) videos, I hope have plenty of time to go through and click on hundreds of videos to delete. You also can't update your WiFi info from the app. Everything you should be able to do in the app you have to log on to the website or call support. Can't wait to get rid of this service.

I have had the application not even a month and I continue to get a screen that tells me to set up my 2 factor Step access which is supposed to be a second or 3rd layer of security for my app. I do not wish to set this up and neither does my partner, but I continue to get this all the time on the application. I need to know how to bypass this in turn this off because it's becoming very frustrating and may deter my decision to keep the service

Someone could come into my house, slaughter my entire family, and walk out before I ever got a notification that anyone was at my door...and that's when it does decide to work! If I could give 0 stars, I would. The worst "security" ever, absolute garbage when it comes to the doorbell camera feature. Everything else works fine, so I guess you can have that one measly star.

It takes forever to see live feeds, I rarely get notifications as I should and there is always an issue connecting to the doorbell camera...and it's not my phone or wi-fi as they are both working fine. This app sucks and I'm about to have it disconnected. The Ring service is looking real good right now.

I have had more problems with this app. Not all notifications come thru. Blinks out when you try to livestream. Frustrating to say the least. How can a person feel confident leaving your home? For those who live alone and rely on such products? To see your activity, you literally have to log onto your computer. To see how much I missed, scary. Defeats the whole purpose of having an app. Do not get me started on the service. I am not satisfied at all. It is time for a change!

I regret ever signing up for this service. The whole point was to be able to monitor my pets while I'm away, which I can't do when the app won't load the live video feed 95% of the time. Always buffering, never loading, even with updating, restarting, full signal, or on wifi. Even when I'm in my own home it's difficult. What's the point? I've had this service for a couple of months and I'm starting to feel like it's a waste of my time and money.

The alarm works.... that's about it. Recordings only catch half the story since it only records 30 sec clips and then doesn't record again for 2 minutes. Had someone break into my car not long ago. I saw them come into the frame, get into it and then it stopped recording. They were gone before the 2 minute delay was up.... infuriating... Doorbell doesn't work when you actually need to use it. No delete all button for all of the useless recordings. I hate this service... can't wait to be done

Camera notification never works properly. Never plays the sound and there's a delay before the app does the pop-up. However, came into the camera's frame is long gone before you get alerted in the in app pop up. Also, the text message alerts come 30 mins to 1 hour after! Also, the 30 sec clips are ridiculous. Needs to be 1 minute minimum option.

The app is limited and does not allow you to edit nearly as many settings and functions without using the desktop site. Even after using the desktop site to alter settings they still have not updated yet. The fact that I am not able to extend the doorbell camera past a 30 second recording is infuriating. Also when there is a motion detection with the doorbell, or a ring, it takes a full 30 seconds for the video to load no matter how quick my Internet is. By that time I have missed my window

The Vector Security app is very good. Works well and is somewhat smart. There is room for improvement, however. You could improve in the arm and disarm schedule by providing options for weekdays and weekends. Currently, the app only gives one option to schedule when to arm or disarm the system automatically a fixed option. We don't get up or go to sleep at the same time during the weekends, as opposed to weekdays. Please add more options. The same goes for setting up the thermostat. Thank you!

Decent Control to look at videos and make some setting changes. For the ones that complain about not controlling more, it's actually better that your device can't, for an extra security measure. As far as some saying about video or alert delays. That usually means that your internet speed is too slow to handle the demand. May have to upgrade. I have no issues. Wish there was a setting for dark mode. When I check my app at night, it's way too bright, even with a dim screen option on.

There is no way for multiple people to use this app anymore. My boyfriend and I were both using it until the put this 2 factor authentification on it. Now if either of us do the authentication it boots the other off. This is extremely inconvenient. *** Is there a way to shut off this 2 factor authentication notification ? I dont want to use it and now it pops up every single time i open the app. Very annoying

App has repeated glitches and does not let me arm/disarm or view the doorbell camera feed when needed. The whole point of the video is to be able to see who is on my porch when I need to, and it never works when I need it to. Extremely displeased and will likely cancel my contract with vector due to these issues. If a security system is going to be app based, the app needs to work. My safety guards should not glitch and need troubleshooting. Updated 10/27/21: Still despise this app and system.

Dark mode! Finally, after 5 years of waiting, we have dark mode!! iOS finally got it a few weeks ago, and getting it on Android this soon after iOS exceeded my expectations ten fold. As far as gripes, the doorbell camera doesn't connect reliably. It often takes 3 attempts, which means I'm already at the door or the person has already left by the time it connects which renders it redundant.

Basic set alarm, lock/unlock doors works fine. But good luck if you want to silence a dead smoke detector battery. App is too basic. Update 2023 - still no way to silence an alarm through the app. Dead battery alert keeps going off no matter how many times I silence the alerts through the alarm panel. All the bells and whistles Vector is bragging about does not to improve the functionality of the system.

This app is great for telling me that an activity has occurred. I can un/lock my smart lock and dis/arm the system. But no matter what settings I try, I can't actually see the recording of an activity without restarting the app or even often restarting the entire phone. I also can't see any video that was not part of an alert after the fact. The video stream just doesn't load. These things worked better before the update. Also the number of times a shadow or tree branch is mislabeled is absurd.
