I recently had the opportunity to use the Vector Ink app, and overall, I was impressed with its capabilities. The app offers a range of features that make it an excellent choice for vector graphic design However, during my use of the app, I encountered a significant issue that hindered my workflow. Specifically, when tracing a photo, the resulting vector image cannot be ungrouped. This limitation makes it difficult to edit and refine the vector design further *Issue:* I kindly request solve it

It's very buggy. Works somewhat for simple stuff. 4 layers gets buggy. 5 becomes unusable. Deleting stuff from one layer deletes it from others. Sometimes have to click stuff 2-3 times to respond. And is very slow overall. Great potential. Hopefully its gets better overtime.

Was looking for a app that i could make svg file with on my android platform. Tried the free and it seemed to be what I was looking for. But you have to purchase the export the svg files. So I did. The exported file was different form what i created. When trying to export via Bluetooth it doesn't work. I can only email the file to myself. I've emailed the about the problem they replied asking a couple questions. I replied back with pics of what I created vs what was exportd. No answer

This is one of a kind app on Android. Loved it, really. The only issue I have with this is that the shape builder doesn't work properly. Either selects the wrong area/curves or down not select at all. Just working with it is quite frustrating. Other than that, no issues so far.

It is a bit laggy and the user interface is a bit confusing. But the thing that makes this a 1 star rating is that you can't export it in .SVG. You have to pay for it. Now how the hell does that make sense for an app that's going to let me illustrate in .SVG, but your not going to let me export in .SVG. Hell no. I'm not paying for this garbage.

The app is ok. Not bad. But it's still out dated in a sense. Needs a better updated trace & autotrace feature for converting raster & bitmap into vector SVG. Something like "Ink Scape" (PC) & "Linearity Curve/ Vectornator" (iOS). Where you can auto trace a Jpeg or PNG etc into scalable SVG illustrations & vectors. Like Linearity Curve has 3 auto trace options (Illustration, photography & a regular black vector). If we can get these trace features here. This app would be 5 stars for sure.

I just spent several days trying to figure out how to do something useful with Vector Ink on my android phone. No luck. It seems to have tremendous potential but is just too buggy to be of value at this time. I sincerely hope that development will continue because Android needs a good vector drawing environment... but this isn't it yet.

I have been looking for a program like this for years, something that Rivals macromedia Flash to work in Vector but on the phone. This is amazing software and I love it. I will be purchasing the full version. If you work in Vector at all you need this software for your phone it's amazing and so powerful and so easy to use I can't say enough good things about it. It has empowered me to do so much art on my phone and I love it! TYSM VECTOR INK! YOU GUYS HAVE BUILT SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL HERE!

This is one of the most complex vector illustration pieces of software comparable almost to Adobe Illustrator available on Google Play Store, but the app lags when you start doing more detailed artwork. I only had 4 layers going then it starts slowing down with pinch to zoom & everything else. It's annoying, you work on something nice then the whole app freeze's! I'm using a Google Pixel 4a 5G, no way it's the hardware, it's the developers fault completely with the lack of updating the software!

Can't even fully test out this app because they want me to either pay for an extra feature or buy the full version to draw with the stylus that came in my Note. That's bogus. I have tried at least half a dozen other free drawing apps and they all have a pen setting built in. This app does seem very sleek and nice to use but I'm not giving you money to use a function that comes with my phone, so I only kept the app for about 5 minutes.

I give it 3 stars, because of its buggyness. The text/font disappears every time I tap on the content area to edit the world or text, so annoying. Besides a little changes that need to be smoothed out, I believe this app will be very useful for my self and others. Love the idea of this app. If changes are made, could easily be 5 stars.

It works okay... I can't export svg even after paying, it has a delay every once in a while and some movement bugs and other bugs. And It woukd be nice if they had explained a little more what things do. Maybe if you are familiar but I can't figure certain things out and there's next to no resources to figure out anything aside from their tutorials video that doesn't really explain the app itself. Mostly frustrated that I can't save svg files. Hopefully they fix these

I heard good things! Unfortunately I couldn't run the app offline, nor could I run it while (via Netguard) blocking trackers of which there were many in the first startup screen alone (and many more to follow in the following intro/ tutorials splash screens). You can see the Exodus Report to get a sense of what personal data is being collected, transmitted, etc. if you value any of the reasons for avoiding the costs of said trackers collecting and transmitting your data & using CPU & bandwidth.

Giving a 5* review in hopes this gets updated and bugs get fixed. Right now this app is good, but it has real potential to be outstanding. A few issues I encountered: Selecting the anchors around points is finicky (Sometimes impossible to select), Text can't be vectorized, Booleans act weird with lines, Input is too touchy (You tap to deselect and you move things a sibgle pixel). That said, the foundation is absolutely solid.

So far, so good. I haven't started paying for it which will open up a whole new ease. If I don't design too technical it's fine. I can't import pictures now and that probably one of the pay perks. I also have difficulty erasing. Take out my last move works, but that's all. So, for free it works.

This is an initial review. I have been looking for Android substitute for the magnificent inkscape tool available on Windows, iOS, and Linux. On initial glance and trying a few things I have to conclude that it has all the tools that I want. Paths can be combined via Boolean operations, text can be fit to pass, there are alignment and distribution and copy tools. Given that I don't have a pressure sensitive stylus I can't run those features of the application. I will review again after more use.

So far so good. If the developers keep at it, it could be absolutely killer. A couple of obvious things are missing, like saving and deleting documents (it can be done but it's clunky). There's some bugs here and there too, but it appears to only be a couple of months old, and with all the features it has, it's remarkable it works as well as it does. Overall, this has potential to be the best vector editor on Android as long as they keep improving.

Looks great and all so far. But when I pressed "back" to get out of the palette menu, it unloaded my project and I had lost all my progress since there is no auto saving (this is a feature that NEEDS to exist.) Also, it is seemingly impossible to add a color from your selected colors to the palette? or even copy a hex code. Which seems like a big oversight.

I really really want to love this app. It's good when it works but that's 50% of the time for me right now. It keeps crashing, at one point I lost all my projects, and it won't always let me close paths with the pen tool, it doesn't seem consistent. I really wish there was more support available, I've paid for the app so I would hope someone would care to make sure it's working. I really wish it would work more consistently for me. I might just see if google will refund me, it's been less 7 days

I have mixed feelings about this app. It's actually a really good app with a good UI. Sometimes, it just checks out though and pressing buttons don't seem to do much. It is much more likely to happen when using a mouse connected to your phone or tablet. There was also a problem where I couldn't reset my password because it kept asking me to re-enter my email. I finally got this fixed by copying the URL into my browser instead of clicking on it. I am not sure why that made a difference.
