WARNING: This app is slowly deleting my vaulted files! Devs: please fix or at least address this issue! Over the past month, I've noticed the count of vaulted items decreasing from day to day. I've noticed several specific photos go missing, and the vaulted items count has gone down by 10 compared to a few days ago (to 2264 from 2274). Don't store anything in this app if you don't make a separate backup first!

Contents are NOT secure, NOT encrypted. App works as expected on the phone, but when I connect phone to my windows computer and browse phone contents (Documents/Vaulty folder), the contents (images etc) can be plainly viewed as normal files. Seems the app moves the files to Vaulty folder and just prevents Android system from seeing the files without encryption. Using the app is fine, and it works fine on phone, hence 2 stars, but for true security, it fails (easily defeated).

Decent app, but playing videos is a bit clunky. It should auto-play when you tap them in the browser. If you are using an external player it should just launch it when you tap the video, no need to go to a new screen then hit play. If you need to scrub the timeline, the controls are underneath your back/home buttons making it difficult. Hitting back while the timeline is visible doesn't do anything, it should just go back to the browser.

Would've stuck with 5 stars if they would've just let me keep using the slideshow by watching an ad. Been using the app for years now but it's not worth keeping anymore. If you want a vault that still uses the slideshow without making you pay, try Omnigif. The app isn't quite as good but they didn't take away a feature that's been here from day one... Now I have to go unlock over 500 images just to put them in the still working app.

It works exactly like it should, and if people are losing videos and pics, it's a phone, SD card issue, not the app. My only issue, is that the recent update changes how pics are viewed, and it sucks. Instead of being linear, they stagger them according to their size, and it was not a bright idea at all. I reverted to an older version, and will not be updating at all. That should be an option somehow, and not a standard because it might be nice to some people, but not all.

App used to be great. So much so I had multiple accounts for different photos and videos. I paid for them all to have back up which was and is a joke. The back up by feature doesn't back up anything via Internet or cloud or whatever they're using. You can reach anyone for answers. I've lost over 375 photos and videos and sent Help Emails but no response. Haven't switched SIM cards cause the Google Pixel didn't have external one. This has happened multiple times. New version is horrible

This app was better a few years ago. Now you get random ads and I get that but the problem is that you could be looking at a picture and back out to look at another and an ad will pop up (that part is fine) but after the ad the app makes you log in again. After successfully logging in there will be another ad and after that ad is over it will make you log in AGAIN! That and if you start a video, you must finish the video or fast forward to the end before you can exit.

I've used this app for a while and I liked the fact that is free, but only has the limitation of the photos uploaded. That's fine for me. The reason I'm giving a 1 star it's because I've been chasing the support for a refund, because by mistake I paid and subscribed to their anual plan, once I realized I canceled and emailed them to issue the refund, and so far no answer at all. I'll be still waiting for an answer and most important, for my refund, that this transaction feels more like a robbery

I was all for the security concept, but what good is it,if you lose what youre trying to protect? It seems I have lossed all photos in prior phone thru app. I have not had any success in transferring them on this phone. I chose important things to keep in it, in order to lose them as the photos are taken totally away from the photo gallery. Unfortunately, I think I will need a better way to secure photos, or simply printing a hard copy of everything right away that's worth keeping.

I was a superfan of this app at one point, but lately I have been having nothing but issues. I have had this app for a number of years and all of a sudden my stored files are lost. I was unable to send an email to support via the app as the help menu suggested but I went online and sent the communication to support for help in recovering my lost data and still haven't heard back. Not sure what they did or changed but I'm upset that my files are lost and will tell everyone just how much

Well this sucks. Used Stocks for years and loved it, bought the full version. But this one having a monthly fee, looks like I will have to pull my pictures out of this vault and find another program. I still have Stocks on my phone but it won't let me skip backup and won't connect to my gdrive, google blocks it. You developers got greedy, this should NOT be a monthly fee. Another issue, moved over old vault, straight copy and ran sync in program. Missing files and doubles/triples of most pics.

Works great! You can save pictures and videos but I keep waiting to lose all my pictures when they ask it start paying. I'd absolutely have no problems paying for an app like this except that they hold your pictures hostage. Pay or lose everything. Just once I'd like to see an app like this say move your pictures and video because your trial is about to end or buy the app for just $____. I still don't know of this is a pay for app.

UNINSTALLED - I Paid for a lifetime subscription a few years ago to remove ads. The dev is no longer honoring that deal and now requires a monthly subscription. I understand they need to make money, but that is not how you do business. Only new users should have been moved to the subscription model. The app now shows a 5 second ad every time I go into or out of a media item, making it completely unusable. Thank goodness most phones now have secure folders to lock down anything you desire!

Horrible after update. I try to reinstall vstocks because it stopped functioning properly only to find that it isn't available anymore. The app that I paid for disappeared and was replaced with another version that's asking for more payment for the same features. I download anyway and import my gallery only to find out that it's put a heavy storage burden on my phone and it won't let me remove all of my files from the vault! A complete downgrade from what it was before. Don't waste your time.

it's not nearly as secure as it advertises. The name implies that your items are somehow secured and completely encrypted with a special key, or something. However, all this really does is hide the videos and pictures from being listed in the Gallery, but anybody who wants to can have access to your videos with no additional effort, and your photos with only a minor bit of effort. This is not secure at all, but useful to keep out casual intruders.

The app used to be amazing. I could even deal with ads whenever you wanted to watch a video or start a slideshow. Recently, the developer has taken away that ability. You cannot start a slideshow by waiting 5 seconds or watching a 30 second ad; you HAVE to subscribe for $9.99 a month in order to do so. What a shining example of greed and avarice: take away a great free feature in order to push more sales and make more money. Be warned: find another app to use, this is the beginning of the end.

Okay, thought this was good at first, but it is almost impossible to exit out of watching a video inside this thing. Once you watch it, you have to click back 50 times for it to finally start thinking about exiting. This little bug is enough to drive me insane, why make it impossible for someone to exit a video without spending an entire minute trying? Also, why do the thumbnails appear in random order and size? So confusing to use, and you have to look at itty bitty thumbnails scattered.

Been using it for years now, it is fantastic! Discreet looking icon, pin protected, and when the wrong pin is put in it takes a picture with the selfie camera to catch whoever did it, then creates a folder labelled "mugshots" and stores them there so you can see who was trying to access the app! It's simple and easy to navigate, and stores everything for years. I recommend it to all of my friends!

I downloaded this app 10 years ago and it was amazing. Now in 2021, not so much. It keeps crashing as it tries to load the banner ads at the bottom of the screen. While in the app, the screen will randomly start to flicker black, app crashes, then my phone goes black, after that phone locks up and kicks me to my home screen. The paid subscription plan is over priced and has features that were once free but are now locked behind the pay wall. I uninstalled it and went with a better vault app.

Go to files-vaulty now find a file that's big enough to be a video. File names will end with .vdata. or for example: johndoe.vdata change the ending to .mp4 or example: johndoe.mp4. Thumbnail appears and video plays. Completely a false sense of security. I downloaded a free with no ads app with 256 aes encryption works. Just incredibly time consuming compared to Samsung vault. But my tablet isn't Samsung so that's how I'm here and totally disgusted this has a weekly subscription shame!
