I figured out how to get your pictures back even if it tells you to retry after 24 hours. You have to go where it says to restore pictures. Once it says no click the link and down that version. Google doesn't allow this version because it breaches certain issues so you have to download the potentially dangerous version. Once you do you have access to all your stuff.

This app was amazing up until two years ago however I no longer trust it. It's incredibly difficult to switch devices. Even though I paid a subscription my account was cancelled and I couldn't access the files I stored. They seem to keep switching parent company from NQ to Lexing. I'd rather store my files elsewhere. Customer service never responds and half the support links go no where.

This app is great aside from the sneaky overlays it does on your phone at random. Causing terrible ads to show up randomly. One just showed up that if you click on the ad it goes straight into the vault without needing the password. Only way to remove these overlays, which can steal your passwords mind you, is to delete the vault app. What a scammy product you guys have.

I have used this app for several years through several phones and never had an issue. I got a new phone recently and whenever I try to restore from my backup it tells me my account is suspended and to wait 24 hours. That went on for a week until I decided to sign out and try signing back in but now it gives me an error saying to check my internet connection. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or 5g cell data. Cannot find a way to contact the app developer to correct this either. Very disappointed. I have family pictures that can never be replaced saved in that backup.

Needs too many permissions. I wanted to use it simply to hide local photos, so I denied it all but access to my files. The app literally will not allow you to enter until you give it access to your SMS, Phone, contacts, files, and location. Files I can understand, but the rest are not necessary for what I intended to use it for. Truly a shame.

08/26/21 UPDATED I have been using this app for over 8 years, and has been flawless until the last few months. I had a problem that my account locked up and I couldn't do anything, contacted customer support by email which is the only option they have. Ended up deleted my account and recreated a new one and cannot get it to bind to my email. I've sent 6 emails in 2 months and no reply. I get constant notifications about binding my email that will not let me do. Customer support is horrible.

I had an issue when I got a new phone and tried to transfer my paid application over. They responded quickly and explained how to activate the premium version on my new phone. ** Update** I wish I could press and hold on messages or call log items to select, then select multiple items to delete all at once. Currently I have to delete one at a time which is a PIA. The SMS also does not seem to be able to import my side of the conversation, it only imports the hidden contacts side which is also a PIA. I cant even select my messages to import. Its still a decent app though.

It does the job well but it's a minefield of ads. I don't mean a few ads, I mean if you press the wrong button (which is easy to do), you've opened an ad up. The pay version is too expensive to purchase so you're left with this nightmare of ads to navigate. I would try another app but this one does work the best. You say you removed the ads from my account. How? I just opened the app and it's an avalanche of ads! I understand that you need to generate money but this is ridiculous

Conceptually, this should be a good app, but it doesn't live up to billing. 1st, contacts imported into the app 1st have to be contacts on the phone. (U can create a new contact within the app itself.) This makes no sense for a contact that's going to be hidden. 2ndly, Once a contact is in the app, u can't alter the name. Lastly, & probably the strongest reason for not purchasing this app: poor customer service. After an update the developer pushed, I LOST ALL MY CONTACTS & information on them (including all the texts exchanged w/ that contact, the times we called one another, & all the notes on that contact [think birthdays and such]). The weird thing about this data loss is that it only affected my contacts. My hidden photos & videos remained in tact. But the volume of important data lost is unimaginable. Some of these contacts (& text messages went back years). I reached out for the developer by email twice, but never got a response. I'd hoped that since I'd once been a premium member that my data might somehow be retrieved, but I hadn't kept premium because most features weren't used. You should probably buy another product!

I've never left a review in and app before but this was awful. I put a video in the vault after installing this app only yesterday. Today, the video is completely gone. I can't even play it. I tried exporting it back into my phone and surprise surprise when it exported it didn't export correctly and it's just a still picture and when I try to play it, it says it can't play the video. So now I have a video that is lost forever. Thanks for nothing.

The ability to create folders for video would be great, being able to move files from one folder to another without exporting them would be great. And honestly if it was a flat price not monthly I'd buy the premium, asking for a monthly fee for something like this is just a poor choice for business in my opinion. Just make it 10 or 20 bucks and bee done with it.

Very good app UPDATE: A year later, and same problem! I have been using this app for a few years without many problems. The app will not allow me to transfer my premium subscription to my new device. I auto-renew via Google Play but, developer keeps trying to get me to pay again for my premium access! I have reached out to customer support with several emails, but not a single reply! Also, membership transfer/bind button does not ever work. Can you please provide some support for your app!

This was my go to app until they forced a feature where I would swipe from one of the bottom corners that had shortcuts for quick settings and was forced to show ads. So there was an ad no matter where I was, home screen, settings, any app. I couldn't find an option to turn it off in the vault settings. I hope you guys stop trying to expand on where you are not needed. I downloaded this for a secure media vault, nothing else.

This app auto deleted all my videos that I saved over the course of two years, approximately 100 videos...just gone! There is no customer service option to even try to troubleshoot the issue. These were irreplaceable videos! I am just left with nothing, all the memories lost. I would not recommend this app at all. PS Latest update doesn't eve open app. It just crashes.

Keeps pictures that you don't want people to see safe... Especially great if you have kids. *Update as of 11/2/19 I've used this app for years and faithfully paid my fees. I've switched devices a couple times and everytime I needed assistance with it. Then all of a sudden I lost everything in there. It's gone. I've sent a ticket and emails, paid for it for 2 or 3 more months... yet they still haven't responded... So I'm cutting my losses. Canceled my subscription and am deleting the app.

Not loading or importing.... All of a sudden I can't get to any of my photos or videos. I also can't import new ones. Please fix this issue without me losing all my pics/videos. I have pics/videos of lost loved ones that were too painful to see on a daily basis. Please help! I've had this app for over 5 years and am even a upgraded paid "member." I've never had a problem before now.

After the Sep. 30 update, it freezes up and crashes, and I've been unable to access it or any of the files I've saved onto it since. This is a prime example of what happens when you try to fix something that isn't broken. And by the way, NQ, quit trying to hide what your real reviewers are saying about your app's recent shortcomings by padding them with your obviously bogus 5-star "reviews". It's getting annoying, and it shows your REAL customers how little their feedback matters.

I've had this app for quite a few years and up until the past several months I loved it. Even told friends and family about it. I've tried renewing for months now and it won't allow me. Also lost pictures and videos. Sent many emails starting back in November 2019 addressing the problem and still haven't received a reply. NEED ASAP!!! If my problem with the application is addressed, I will gladly change this review.

Loved the app for the first year. It kept asking me to backup to Google, which is the reason I picked this app: my kids have access to my Google as a family account. I had no issues and then randomly photos or videos would just... disappear. So, yes, those bad eeviews are valid. I am missing items that I cannot get back and I don't understand why. They are things in the middle of my timeline with this app... I would understand "out with the old" but it seems random. You get to keep I'd say 80%

Most recent update added WAY to many adds, and in the most annoying ways possible. Like you clicked into a menu and immediately tried to back out...heres your add. You looked at a picture and backed out...here's your add. If your intent was to make them so annoying you buy premium, it's having the opposite effect on me. Deleting your app, never using it again, and smearing it's good name on the internet. Be more considerate. You will get a huge boost in revenue up front, but a larger loss later
